I liked how fast it was to get an appointment and the service was also efficient. My pointer nail chipped the same day (I got a gel manicure) and I called Nancy and she was super helpful and let me come in the next day to fix it. Unfortunately, my pointer and middle finger chipped again the next day after she fixed it. I think it might be a polish issue. She also applied the coats very thinly so it could be that? I really like my manicurist and would give this place another chance but it was also sad to pay for a gel manicure only to get results of a bad regular manicure. My gel manicures usually last 4 weeks without any chipping. I don't think I can go back another time to fix the chips. read more

Very clean nail salon with plenty of color options for you to choose from! I made an appointment Monday morning for 6:30pm and they were pretty open. When I arrived, there were three nail technicians and only one lady getting her nails done--I was able to get seated immediately! The ladies were really nice and I enjoyed watching some TV while I was getting my nails done. I also asked for a spooky design for Halloween and they were able to recreate it perfectly at a fair price! Overall, great place and fair prices! Prices: I paid $33 for a gel manicure with design on my ring finger ($25 for gel and an additional $8 for the design). They do take credit card but like other nail salons, they charge $1. There is also a sign below the price board that says tips should be in cash! Parking: There's a large parking lot right outside the salon. There were plenty of spaces when I arrived so it is super convenient! I've held off writing anything negative about Nancy's nails because of the fact that the people that work there are nice. However, today is the last time I go to Nancy's nails unfortunately. Every time I've asked for a design in the past it's been extremely sloppy. If you don't know how to do the design or aren't confident YOU SHOULD LET THE CLIENT KNOW! Today, I went in for a chrome ombre, which I asked ahead of time if they could do & they said YES. upon arrival I was told they only have one color of chrome. AGAIN! Those are things YOU SHOULD LET THE CLIENT KNOW ahead of time! Lastly, I choose a color and give it to them to apply. I pick a matching toe nail color to go with my hand. When my nails are being done & color is applied & put in the gel machine I realized it looks a little more pink than the color I chose. I bring it up to the technician and she then tells me it's the same color however on the sample nail it looks different because it's a sample nail and on my nail it looks another color. AGAIN!! THOSE ARE THINGS YOU SHOULD LET A CLIENT KNOW BEFOREHAND! I had a sitter watching my baby so I could get my nails done and was on a time crunch (which the technician knew) . When I bring it up to her that the color is not what I wanted she proceeds to tell me she could put silver which is not at all what I had wanted at any point. THAT IS NOT OKAY! She would've had to take the polish off and start over and that would've been more time than I had available. I proceed to let her finish and keep the color because I can't leave the salon with nails half done. She still charges me I pay her I leave and now I will never return. People, you get what you pay for. I hope the owner of the business reads this and makes some changes in how they communicate to their clients. Very disappointing. I use to refer people here, now I will not. TIPS: 1. asked ahead of time if they can do what you want. 2. They are not good at designs. 3. They rush you ALWAYS! 4. When getting a pedicure, be careful! they have cut me 3 times. read more
