Serena did an incredible job on my pedicure it was honestly the best pedicure experience I've ever had! Vickey did my Gel-X nails with a beautiful cat-eye design, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. She is so talented and pays great attention to detail. Got my nails done with Thanh. I requested an almond shape on my natural nail and when she asked if I was happy with the shape, I asked if she could fix 2 of them because they were extremely uneven. She hands me the nail file and tells me to do it myself. I started filing and then told her that for my next hand, she could just file down a bit on the top instead of an almond. She files and then hands the file to me and tells me to fix whatever I don't like. She also made comments throughout the rest of my appointment about how picky I am and tells herself "I'm right, huh?" My nails are also pretty chunky because of how she applied the polish. I really needed my nails done but it was an extremely unpleasant experience. read more

I've been here several times and only had a pleasant experience prior til today. Called ahead and asked for pricing Friday, after getting the service Sunday the price had changed. The front desks excuse was that they had someone new up in front. I wasn't sure why they had someone brand new doing a shift by themselves. I asked for a regular pedicure and gel cat-eye pedicure pricing, was told it was $26 and $56 over the phone. They rang us up today for a reg pedicure, $29, and $72 for gel. The pricing wasn't the issue, more so how it was handled and the consistent wrong answers. No manager was brought in and the front desk acted like it wasn't her issue, nor was an apology given. She wasn't the one who assisted, but she decided to give me a response in place of someone else. In addition, I had to reschedule my Saturday appointment for Sunday, called to make another appointment and walked in today apparently not having an appointment in their system. My friend experienced hostile comments from the women doing her pedicure, instating that her feet were in the condition they were due to her paying for regular polish, trying to not only upsell her into gel, but the work had already been done. Since I am pre-diabetic, I am cautious and don't do frequent nail appointments, I am glad that Judy (for mani) and Eric (for pedi) were careful and gentle. Ive tried making appointments with different techs & different times through the day but they always start the service up to an hour late. It's really hard to make time to get my nails done as a working mom & Imy time is so limited. I tty to work with them & ask for best approach but they've failed me every time. Updating my review to 5 stars because the salon reached out to me directly, took accountability for the missed messages, and offered to redo my pedicure free of charge. I genuinely appreciated how quickly they handled everything and their willingness to make it right. The staff here has always been incredibly sweet, welcoming, and professional, which is why I wanted to continue coming here in the first place. Things can happen, but their response and customer service honestly turned the entire experience around for me. You can tell they truly care about their clients and their work. Simply Nail Bar is so kind! The parking is street parking but I didn't mind the walk at all, it was a nice day out. Came here for a gel pedicure and there was no wait when I called a few minutes before showing up. I got a gel pedicure and fixed my broken toe nail with Eric for $58. He was very nice and gentle and paid attention to detail. The receptionist was also very kind as well. Would def recommend this salon. The inside is very clean and super cute! It makes me sad writing this review because I thought I had found a place near my new home to go to for my nails. I came here in the past and loved my pedicure but yesterday when I came in for a manicure and pedicure I left feeling upset and sad. I switched over to gel x when I got there since I wanted to get my nails done in months for my birthday. The lady they assigned for my manicure went ahead and attempted to do gel x even though I don't think she knew how to. My nails haven't been done in months and have grown and recovered from past bad nail jobs. The lady began putting the gel x on my nails and instantly I knew it wasn't going to be good. Some nails were on my cuticle some were off and some of the nails even visibly larger than my nail bed. I told her they were going to come off because some of the nails weren't even properly glued on there were gaps under the nails and I didn't want to get an infection from trapped water or something. I kept telling her and after her denying it she continued to cut the nails and shape them really badly. I genuinely felt bad saying something because she was sweet but I did not want to drop 100+ on nails I wasn't going to like. I told her if she could just take them off since I wasn't happy with them and I would only do my pedicure. She began soaking and drilling them off and in the end left a bunch of gel all over my nails and cuticles that left them looking worse than before she started on them. In the end she cut my cuticles a bit and told me she was still going to do a manicure and next time to not get anything done and instead get gel on my natural nails. I just think if you didn't know how to do the gel x she could've just been honest with me. In the end the receptionist explained that she was new and I understood and was not upset again because I genuinely felt bad for the lady. But then they proceeded to charge me for a "manicure" that left my nails worse than before! And when I vocalized this they said ok I'm going to give you a discount on the manicure. So the $94 service went down to $91 . I paid and left and will never be back because the least they could've done is not charge me for the manicure. Now I am going somewhere else where they can clean up my nails and make them look somewhat presentable for my birthday. read more

I came in asked for a full set French tip... and gel pedicure. I had a color for my toes and the lady doing my toes put a whole different color. Mid way asks me to upgrade to an 86 dollar package. The amount i paid is 182 for a gel pedicure and these gel x nails when i specifically asked for acrylic!!I can't believe it. They are basic. Not worth the $$$$$ read more

I've been coming here for about two years now since it was 1 min away from my job. I moved jobs, but I still made the 30 min commute to come here. I've had the best experience all this time & had great work. My last visit I requested the same cat eye color that was additional $20 each for pedicure & hard gel. Apparently there was an issue with the color I requested & I noticed both employees discuss something of that sort (however I couldn't understand fully due to language barrier) so I didn't pay much mind to it. However, once the hard gel was completed on my manicure, I notice the color was a little off. I then asked why it looked different & they told me because it wasn't the color I requested. However, they never told me that the pedicure was done with the wrong color. They assumed I just wouldn't notice so they just continued with the wrong color for my hands. They offered to fix it, but it had been two hours of me sitting there & they were already closed at that point. I felt completely disrespected because I understand mistakes happen, however, if they knew that it was not the color I requested, they could've informed me before beginning with my manicure. They purposely continued with the color assuming I just wouldn't notice. It's not the end of the world & don't need to have it re done, however, I felt completely disrespected. I'm paying for gel & hard gel. On top of that I'm paying extra $20 for both. I do also always provide generous tips bc I appreciate their work & have always loved it here. However, I'm extremely disappointed on how I was disrespected that way. Thinking I wouldn't notice & continued anyway. I don't feel comfortable coming back. read more

I am not happy that I am writing this review I have been going to Simply Nail for my pedicure and they have been usually doing a good job. Unfortunately I couldn't go to my manicure private person so I decided to do my manicure and pedicure here. I chose white color with Extra $20 charge for adding glitter/sparkles on. I got my nail done on Thursday, was going on vacation and on 2nd day on vacation without even touching anything colorful or washing my hands much, I started noticing the top layer coat of my manicure is cracking and the nails started changing colors. Literally 2nd day. My nails looked so ugly and I am so regretting going there for my Manicure! I wish I didn't have to do this review but it is funny enough the day I went someone was there complaining about the manicure she got the day before and wanted for the technician to fix it! Vivian and Christina were so sweet! They were both meticulous and very gentle when it came to drilling/filing & cutting my cuticles 10/10 for customer service. The receptionist was also very helpful squeezing me in and figuring out what service to do. There is a bit of a language barrier with the techs but everyone is super sweet and tries to help. I'm a bit picky & I try not to be too difficult but I had to ask to fix some of the shaping (they're still slightly uneven but my fault I should've said something lol). I think they should be comparing both hands to each other simultaneously rather than working on one at a time. Besides working on a little shaping, my techs were great and happy to accommodate. Felt that pricing should be more transparent during services but they do have little menus off to the side. &bring cash for tips! read more

I came here as a walk in appointment after work on a Tuesday evening and I was pretty impressed. They weren't too busy and were able to assist me immediately. My entire appointment only took bout 50 minutes which is certainly on the quicker side including removal. The nail tech was very precise and fast. It's been a week and my grow out is looking decent.
