Then they changed the name, and I assumed it was new ownership, so I decided to try it out. I had THE WORST experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I'm a new mom and I don't get a lot of time to myself, so I was excited to finally get a pedicure and relax. I left this place more stressed than I was when I came in. 1. This place looked so unsanitary!! I should have walked out, but I didn't have a lot of time and decided to take the risk. Should have listened to my inner dialogue screaming for me to leave. She didn't wear gloves until she did the sugar scrub on my legs and then when she did that she took her wet gloved hand, that had already touched my feet, and put it in the communal scrub jar that looked watered down already. So every person she touches gets their germs mixed into that jar of other people's germs. None of the tools were in a sterilization pack. They were all out in the open, so who knows if they were actually clean. 2. The gal was so rough with my feet and when taking care of my cuticles. She was literally digging into the sides of my toenails and caused me to bleed multiple times. And then she kept pouring cuticle remover back over my toes that were bleeding?! 3. She filed down my nails sooo short that it hurt and she would use her own sharp nails to dig into my toes while filing, which also f***** hurt. 4. The paint job was horrible! I picked a gel color and instead of wiping off the wet paint that was on my skin with a brush and alcohol, she just let it cure under the UV lamp and then after she was done with the paint she took a nail file and tried FILING OFF THE PAINT THAT WAS ON MY SKIN!! Wtf??? 5. She started the timer for my massage on my legs, but then took her time wiping off her hands and rearranging things on her cart before she started and also she didn't use lotion. She used a tiny amount of cuticle oil which then turned my massage into a dry rub basically, and that didn't feel great either. 6. When I went to pay with my card, she was impatient for the card to register when tapping it on the machine and jerked my card out of my hand and was trying to do it herself. Overall- I will NEVER come back here. Such a waist of my time and money, and possibly got an infection. My toes hurt so bad!!! I went home and cleaned my feet immediately.

My left big toe is so red and inflamed and beyond painful. $55 pedicure for it to look like this. This place should be shut down!

After I moved from Pasadena to K-Town I switched all my people except for Jennifer. Everyone says she's super gentle, and believe me, she is. I would never go to anyone else for facials or waxing. The spa is in a really great location in La Canada on Foothill. Jennifer always chats with you to help you relax, and is genuinely interested in how you're doing. The facials are relaxing and she does a really thorough job, my skin looks great afterwards. I also like that she works on my neck and upper shoulders too. In terms of products, I've used La Mer for a long time but I'm switching to GM Collin as of this week, let's see how it goes. Nonetheless, between my daughter and I, we spent thousands of dollars at Jill's salon. I realize that the salon experience invites petty gossip, and there was no shortage of pettiness with Jill. However, I was astonished by the malicious, and racist, tones of it. I mean, why open a business in a predominately Armenian community, and take their money, if you have so little regard for them as a community? And why disparage your clients, family, and friends when they are supporting your livelihood? I don't get it. All in all, it's a fine place for a facial, if you don't mind those other things. Happily, I have found an esthetician and brow person that I'm much more satisfied with, and one that has integrity. I'm relieved to have moved on, and it's a step in recovering from this unprofessional experience.
