Satisfied Customer for over 12 years! Since 2014. What a gem - Lida has colored and styled my hair for over 12 years now and I always leave her salon smiling. I'm British, from London. When I lived in the UK I was a successful well known actress who worked in theater and TV on TV for many years. During that time I did countless modeling and photo shoots and worked with top London stylists and leading make-up artists. So I think I know a good stylist when I find one. When I first came to LA in 2004, I went to several in Beverly Hills, etc...they were good, but then I stumbled across Lida and her team, completely by accident. I have never looked back. I've added my recent hair cut photos, please note, I don't color my hair anymore - decided to let the grey grow through, I am 60 now! This was my hair cut by Lida 6 weeks ago, just before my birthday in March. The real Lida talent is that 6 weeks later, I can wash my hair and go - the cut is so exemplary, I don't have to blow dry or use product to make it look great. The cut is everything and Lida is that - she is the gal with everything. Plus there is always great conversation, other great women and fabulous food and beverages for everyone. A woman's woman in a cool safe space for all. You'll leave smiling and come back wanting more. You can't write a better review than this...what are you waiting for! read more

Lida is so talented and great at what she does! I stumbled upon her salon by chance, and so glad I did. Highly recommend!

Lida was great! She was given a big task from taking my patchy dark hair to blonde and she did amazing. I'm impressed with what she achieved today and one seating. I've been to her before for my eyebrows which she did impeccably and this is why I returned! She cares about making the customer happy and I left the salon today feeling like a new person. She is a true triple threat! Amazing color, hair cutting and threading. She definitely has an artistic guy and knows what will work for your face shape. read more

Was looking for a new place to do my eyebrows. The threaders I had been going to were unreliable and the eyebrow mapping people never left me leaving with "wow" eyebrows. Looking in my old neighborhood of Glendale, I searched up eyebrows and Lida's name popped up and she had great reviews. I gave her a call, scheduled an appointment and I knew she was the one when I met her. She looked at my face and knew exactly the best shape for my face, no mapping needed. I'm so happy I found her. My eyebrows look great! I look forward to going to her salon and getting my brows done! Love Lida!! read more

This past weekend I drove up from the OC to Glendale literally just to see Lida and get my eyebrows brought back to life. I started going to her a couple years ago when I worked nearby but haven't been able to find anyone comparable to her since moving to the OC. I called about a week and a half before I wanted to come and yes, I should have called sooner since I can only drive up on Saturdays. The salon had a packed day with back to back clients but Lida was able to accommodate me and my brows and I am so grateful. She does amazing work every visit, I'm never disappointed. read more

During COVID review: they're open! Give Lida a call to make an appointment or before you decide to walk-in. She was able to take me in 30 minutes after I called. I think she does a fantastic job at shaping brows. I personally prefer waxing but threading is a close second best. Parking: Free 90 minutes in the parking garage located on Artsakh. Lida uses the threading method for eyebrow shaping. She will also trim with scissors. She's gotten many awards for years of eyebrow shaping. It is a full service salon and their prices are listed. They do full face make up, eyebrow shaping, hair color, hair cuts, etc. This salon also sells Moroccan Oil products (the one with the blue turquoise label) read more

Wow! All the reviews I read about Lida are accurate and more. I had been scared of trying a new threading salon due to my brows being butchered in the past by another salon.. It took me a long time to grow them and I knew walking around with a small bush on my face was not appealing. So I googled and yelped a new salon and Lida came up a few times. She was amazing! She worked around my schedule and was able to see me early the next day. I showed Lida a picture of the shape I thought would look good but I told her I trusted her expertise and experience. The final look blew me away, and it fits my face beautifully! If you need a new salon or looking for a new shape, you will not regret trying Lida. She also does microblading if you wanted to try that. Thank you Lina for my new eyebrows :) Wow! I'm so glad I found my new threading salon. read more

I found this chic and super friendly Eyebrow boutique totally random. I moved to Glendale from west side and was so happy to discover Lida's place. She is an amazing hairstylist as well. I went from long hair to short from one second to another. Lida did not need more time than that to persuade me that she knows what she is doing and she was totally right. My hair looks amazing and more important I feel great with my new hair! It is hard to find a great hairstylist in LA who actually knows what she/ he is doing. And most importantly she knew that this style will fit me. Last time I had my hair cut short was when I was 9years old :) I love it very much! Thanks Lida for a great feeling and even better look read more

I love this place. Lida is a true artist. She changed the way my face looks with her brow sculpture. I'll never go anywhere else!!

I wanted to update my review and talk about this ladies talent doing hair just as amazingly. She knows what she is doing, she is talented, cooperative and she puts the time and attention needed for your hair. I can not express how happy I am for coming to hair and trusting her with my hair. Highly recommend her specially comparing to Glendale's other over priced, over rated, and underperforming salons. read more

Second time here and I'm obsessed with the results. Lida's work is phenomenal but her personality makes you want to stay in her salon even when your work is done. Very honest, humble, fun, and professional hair, eyebrows, and makeup artist! I have the most stubborn black-pigmented hair and she does do this transformation without damaging my hair. Oh, and her assistant, Jacklin is a sweetheart too! She does an amazing job every time she styles my hair. read more

I need to add to my previous review and say WOW when it comes to how Lida does hair, as a skeptic when it comes to cutting hair and styling - Lida and Jackie are both incredible at what they do. They literally gave my hair life from coloring it the right way to styling it differently everytime. In addition to the amazing hair treatments received, the salon feels like home - always welcoming, great people and a wonderful ambience all round. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Lida is the best!! I've been coming for her for a few years now for eyebrows. She does an amazing job. I cannot go anywhere else because she knows exactly how to shape them. Today I got my hair done with Lida and now I can officially say I have my go-to hair stylist as well. It really didn't take that long and she even made me a tasty beverage. She is the sweetest!! Lida cut off my ends and gave me the most perfect length along with the prettiest blonde highlights that blended just right with my natural color. I'm so glad I gave Lida a shot with my hair because I am very picky. I have had incidents where ppl mess up but Lida is truly the best at what she does. Book an apt with Lida for hair, eyebrow, or both!! You won't be disappointed. 5/5 stars read more

I was thinking about changing my hair color for a while and I was worried about the result but Lida was just amazing and professional in picking my hair color and it came out great! My hair look nice and shiny in a perfectly done highlighting technique by Lida. She also did a lot of hair treatments to make sure my hair won't be damaged in the process. After the pandemic, I waited to get my eyebrows done for so long because I wanted to go to someone who truly understood how to get the right shape for my face and my brows. I love this salon! I came here to get my hair fixed after a messed up Covid at home dye job. Anyways they fixed my hair and made me look amazing!!! 10/10 would recommend. read more

I have never in my life gotten my eyebrows done, looked at them, and thought WOW ! My reaction is generally "nice. Thank you"., "great, thanks". As all any of them would do is tell me I have no shape and all they can do is just clean them. Since it seemed like thats the best response I would get from all of them, I just accepted it. In come Lida, now mind you I have not had anyone touch my eyebrows in 4 months ( due to covid ) I had just been "cleaning" It myself to the best of my abilities. She was going at my eyebrows so fast and for so long with tweezers.. just plucking from all over the place.. that for a minute there I thought she was about to make me bald ( I'd never had anyone pluck hair from the places she was aiming lol ) she did also keep saying "your shape is here, i just have to find it. I have never seen anything like this before" I'm just laying there laughing because i know I have super odd eyebrows ( they're boxy, the hair is thin, and they have no arch whatsoever, also the hair goes in different directions ) I just kept thinking to myself, this is either going to end really well, or I'm going to end up with some weird bald eyebrows, again, since no one else has ever gone at it like this with them. Once she finished she just a pencil to fill them in a bit and voila. When I looked and saw... I was honestly in awe.. i had never seen my eyebrows look so good. I had to call my biggest critic .. my sister. As soon as she saw my eyebrows she confirmed what I already thought myself... "that is the best your eyebrows have ever looked". Im 33 and have been getting my eyebrows done since I was 13. It took 20 years to find someone who do my eyebrows properly and make them look good. This will forever be my eyebrow place. Thank you Lida ! read more

I've been seeing Lida for my eyebrows for years and she's absolutely amazing. The shop is lovely and as soon as you walk through the big glass front doors you're welcomed like family! Recently, I had an event to attend and after my eyebrows were done, I said to Lida my eyebrows will look great but I have no idea what to do with my hair. Lida immediately told me not to worry, she would take care of it. Lida washed, blow dried and styled my hair; the curl stayed in for almost a week, I only had to wash my bangs a few days after. Lida is not only amazing with eyebrows, but blowouts too!! read more

I had been coloring my own hair for a while and alas, it had gotten way too dark. I needed a change and some professional help. Enter the eye boutique and the lovely owner, Lida. Lida was as patient, kind, and professional as can be and took me gently from almost black hair to a beautiful chestnut brown with caramel highlights. With zero damage!! And for a reasonable price. AND I got champagne and cake and coffee while my hair was processing. Can not beat that. I trust her and will be back! I found my colorist. Maybe one day I'll have her work on my brows too. Thank you Lida and team for taking such great care of me! read more
