In turn, I got a thoughtful, long term plan about keeping my brows full and working towards symmetry. The eyebrow artist was kind throughout the session. I left feeling like my brows looked nice and clean, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Price was less than $20. read more

Ani is the best! I used to drive over 40 mins, because I couldn't give up my last eyebrow lady. However, I now discovered here. She's so careful and gives me the heads up on what she plans to do to my brows, especially when it came to how I wanted it shaped. I told her my eyebrows have been messed up before, but she reassured me we will have it fixed :) I suggest booking an appointment as she can get busy and can take a few minutes because she is CAREFUL and pays attention to detail. The service is good but this place is full of mosquitoes. I get bitten every time I'm here . I don't know why so much mosquitoes. I saw they have a lot of wilted live plants or the place is not well kept . Hope they get rid of live plants or exterminate . I won't go back to this place until they address the mosquito situation . Five stars for Ani! I have been coming to her for three years now, and she is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is incredibly sweet and really takes the time to figure out exactly what eyebrow shape looks best for your face. My skin is super sensitive, but with Ani, I never get any rashing or irritation. I had walked in as a walk-in 10 days ago. The person who left a 1 star review mention she was rude but actually I was that person who was there getting her eyebrows done at 6:15pm. I heard the whole conversation as well. The client 6:15 appointment kept saying she was 4 minutes late. But if she let Ani speak, I wouldn't have minded to take a break for her to get her eyebrows done while I wait but she got frustrated and left. I've been going to Ani for about a year or so now. Her work is always amazing--never hurts and my brows always look perfect. She recently opened her own threading shop! I will follow her until she stops doing brows!! Pearly Brow Threading is located in a good location of La Canada--next to various shops. It's located in a plaza and parking is free and easy. I always feel very welcome with Ani, she is always so nice and we have great conversations. Her method of threading is different than what most people are used too--it hurts less! Ruined my hairline. I came in for a hairline thread and I even sectioned off which baby hairs to thread off with a headband so my actual hairline hairs wouldn't be plucked out. She threaded BEHIND the headband. Not only did she leave baby hairs, but she took off the hairline pieces. Going to take years to fix, don't recommend. read more

Walked in at 3pm on a Saturday. No line, so Lynette was able to do my brows right away! She started with scissors, cutting down long eyebrows, followed by really gentle threading, more scissors and finished off with tweezers. Kinda cool how much attention to details she had. Most places tread your brows so fast that the next day you notice small nicks all over your skin, but not here! They took their time and were very gentle.
