Tami appears to be very skilled but her attitude is disturbing. I went for eyebrows but ended up leaving because she is so passive aggressive. Normal one minute and a bully the next. I am so thrilled with Tami's work. I moved to the area a year ago and had a place in FL I used to use. There I would walk out thrilled with my brows but then weeks later I was back penciling them to make them even. I couldn't figure out why. Now I get it. Tami made all of her measurements with me laying down but then had me sit up and made adjustments. She did this multiple times through her work and even used a couple of different techniques without charging me extra to get the right effect given that I still had faded pigment in place. I also got the eyeliner which I had been wanting to do for a while. Tami is so thorough and really makes sure everything is just perfect. She is also super efficient and sensitive to your time. At the place I used to go, they would have me fill out all of the paperwork, the. put on numbing cream, have me sit for 45 min, then draw everything out and then do the micro blading. This is my third appointment with Tami... and I must say, I am so happy with my current results. Prior to microblading, my brows were non-existent. This review is loooong overdue--I have been going to Tami since 2017, and have been going to her for brow touch ups EVERY YEAR ever since! If you are looking for someone to trust with your eyebrows/eyeliner/face, SHE IS THE ONE!! I came in with work previously done by someone else that had turned reddish/brown which didn't match my dark brown hair/skin tone and wish I had found her sooner. She was super patient and was kind enough to explain what was going on with how my brows were fading abnormally. She was reassuring and took me as a client even though my brows were a mess, and it's been a great brow journey with her ever since. I even had my eyeliner done by her. Pain wise, Tami has a gentle and steady hand but she will still need to numb you. Micro blading eyebrows uses a blade but isn't too bad. Sometimes I doze off. The eyeliner application process is over a sensitive area and requires a bit of time to apply and repeat numbing. Microblading with Tami is something I look forward to every year/or sooner depending on how fast my brows fade. Tami is the real deal when it comes to brows - hence all the 5* reviews. Before I go on about the process, what I really appreciated was how fastidious Tami was about Covid safety. You're temperature checked before entering her clean medical room and immediately your bag etc is isolated in a separate bin. You then wash your hands and are given gloves and requested not to touch or fiddle with anything further. A hair net is placed on you. Tami is double masked and gloved and is very careful about what she touches. I appreciated all of this and her efforts to keep us both safe. The process itself was very quick and efficient. I was REALLY worried about pain (low pain threshold here despite childbearing etc) but honestly all I felt was a tickle. I was so relieved. Tami was incredibly thorough explaining the process and taking her time to get the shape perfect. Honestly the shape really is perfect and enhances my eyes and bone structure. The color obviously appears dark straight away but will fade after a week or so. This was my first time getting my eyebrows done! Tami was great, and my eyebrows look really natural and pretty. The pain was minimal, it felt like light scraping along the skin, at least for me. As you can see on my before picture I was in total need of some eyebrow work and thankfully I found Tami. I did take some time to go over her yelp reviews, as well as her IG account- and I came across several satisfied clients, which helped me make a decision to have microblading done. So it started a couple weeks back by a text to schedule a consult then the appointment was scheduled. As I arrived she asked some general questions and explained the procedure and aftercare instructions. She applied numbing cream, shaped my eyebrows and confirmed that I was happy with shape and then the magic began. It was painless and done within an hour and a half- from walk in to walk out. I drove from San Diego to see her which is worth the drive. I had my brows and top and bottom eyeliner done. She is very kind and does everything to make you comfortable.While she does her work she has you get up time to time so she can check her work and she always has you check it yourself to see what changes you want her to make. Good skills and a perfectionist. She will talk to you first on exactly how you want your brows and she will draw them on with a brow pencil and make sure you approve of it before she starts. Her procedure for brows is the 3d brows technique. For eyeliners she uses a machine. It is the eye so its a bit sensitive but its bearable. Brows is a piece of cake. Shes very gentle also while she does it always asking if your ok. Very clean and very neat work. I had my touch up last Friday. First visit is like the base and foundation then the touch up visit fixes whatever needs to be fixed and to put the final layer. And she even emails me to ask if I want it darker still I can go in for another touch up visit. She is excellent at communicating. Every email I send her she responds immediately. First time!...I was first referred to Tami by my sister-in-law. We set up an appointment via text. Parking was a little difficult to find. Which by the way is located on E Wilson Ave and Maryland Ave. If I remember correctly...here you get 90 mins of free parking. Then you take the elevator to exit the parking structure. From there you walk towards the Men's Warehouse. Once you locate the door next to the Men's Warehouse, Tami has to buzz you in. Tami's Office was vary clean and organized. She first starts off with the consultation. For Example, what type of shape you draw on a daily basis. She will also share her suggestions and what color and shape best fits your eyebrows. She was very polite and easy to talk to. Before my procedure, i asked to see which I thought would be a needle or blade... to my surprise Tami showed me that the tool she used was 24 really thin needles. My first time took about 30 mins; in which she drew my eyebrows and the shape we agreed on. She then applies numbing cream on your eyebrows will let it sit and then start the procedure. She stops and reapplies cream and will continue to micro-blade your eyebrows. During this time she will make the necessary adjustments to your eyebrows. Afterwards she will apply cream for the third time before you are done. The part that hurts the most is right above your nose. But Tami is really patient and walks you through it.
