It's the third time I've been in the store. I had lotta things that took me a long time picking out to try on when I went to try them on. They only had the two yes only two dressing rooms open at the front of the store! Two of the employees just chitchatting at the front while there were 10 people in line! At this time of year people are there trying to get close for their kids for school, etc. and they're too lazy to open up the back dressing rooms so I politely put everything back expressed my disappointment by putting things on the shelves and on the racks doesn't help if people can't try them on!!! read more

Two stars for the selection of holiday decorations. They had lots of Easter and springtime decorations for the season. However, the rest of the store was filled with junk! The clothing was extremely poor quality. Very thin fabrics and lots of off brands. Looks like the leftovers from other discount stores end up here. Seriously, there was nothing in this store that I wanted to buy. The shoe section was filled with very cheap looking shoes. Over half the shoes looked like they were made of cheap plastic. The store itself seemed organized and there was someone who greeted me upon entering. However, the quality of the product was seriously lacking. read more

Signal butte Ross stores so bad now I been shopping by Ross for all my life but at this signal Ross so many trouble to me. when I get the return items. 1- last year return some dresses they did not let me return them. because I lost my receipt. That's fine I understand some company the policy required. I am a businessman I understood that. So I forget about it. 2- tonight is my bad Nigth again. I brought 18 items on Sep/30 but I still have 5 days for returned. Because I am so busy on snow bird season I don't have time bring 2 items to return after few days when I saw the side so big to me. But anyway I still know i had receipt with me and I am not late and not expiration yet in this time. Wow my gad I don't believe this time they told me they don't let me return for this item they told because this kind the brand it is not at Ross stores ( Ross stores don't have this kind the brand so they don't let me return even I had my receipt with me. But I told them I want you to check it for me because all my clothes I only brought from here (only from Ross stores) and I am every for sure about it because I don't how to drive very well so I only can shopping from this Ross stores because it is from my job. Anh then she call The manager she take care my case she was so mean and mad she said what do I do for you now? I tell her I want to return it. She said OK I just do it this time but next time sorry about it. Wow my gad I told her I brought almost $400 but I just return $14 you get mad to me like that. I am a frequent shopper of Ross, along with my husband, and parents. We shop in Ross a few times a week, every week. We shop at multiple Ross stores, as there are more than one Ross store in each town in our area, and we shop Ross stores in about 8 towns within our area. I spend a great deal of money at Ross and have always been pleased with my shopping experience. People know us at multiple locations, and recognize us when we come to shop. But now some unacceptable behavior has been going on in this one particular location, Signal Butte, Mesa, AZ. There is an associate who works in the women/junior/misses dress department and dressing rooms. She is an older woman with longer gray hair. She began to make comments to me, that at first I thought were joking in nature. When I would enter the store and go to the dress department she would come by where I was, I would say hello to her and she would say to me, "make sure you don't mess up the dresses" or other variants such as "we just straightened the dresses, don't mess them up". I smiled and laughed and said ok, because I thought she must be joking. 1. I am a customer shopping who spends and buys there every week and 2. I don't mess the dresses up, but if I did that would be ok and she should not be telling customers not to mess up the racks. After this happened every time I went into this location, too many weeks now to count and tell you, but I will say it wasn't once or twice, but every visit to the store, which is at the very least once per week, I started thinking this woman is not joking. She never said it with a smile either, her face looks angry. I'm puzzled because the store is always a mess, customers throw clothes on the floor, under racks, and get makeup all over the clothes, tear the clothes, leave shoes all over the floor in the shoe section etc., and me and my family are actually not only very neat about shopping, but even sometimes pick up other peoples mess, though I might add it's not our jobs to do that. I look through my size, which is a very small area, and purchase the things I like. After all this went on for months now, another different incident occurred. About 2 weeks ago I went to use the dressing room. Now, I never use the dressing room at Ross because I know my size, and I prefer not to use the dressing room. This one time I decided to use it. She was there at the dressing rooms. I had two dresses, which I showed to her. She said "hang them on the bar". I said ok and did so. Then she said to me "you know how this goes, you've done this before" and I replied that I actually never use the dressing room there, to which she replied, "YOU.. no NEVER, you never do" - but in a sarcastic tone, as if I always use the dressing room. I really never use the dressing room, so I replied, no I actually never do. Well, then she said to me, "go in and take this "number two" plastic tag with you. When you come out hang BOTH of the dresses on this bar." She said it with a tone, as if she were suggesting I might try to sneak one of them out in my very small 4 inch handbag...??? I shop at this store weekly! At any rate, I went into the dressing room, tried the one dress on I wasn't sure about, and then came out. I passed her the "number two" plastic tag, holding one dress - I said, I am buying this dress, and put the second dress on the bar. She said "I told you hang both the dresses on the bar", I was speechless, she then yelled to my husband who was about 30 feet away "She doesn't follow directions good does she?" - as I was beginning to walk back to the dress rack. Now, she continued the next week to say to me when I came in "not to mess the dresses up", but then last Sunday when we went in I was with both my husband and my mother and father. I was about 2 aisles away from where my Dad was. She said to my Dad "There's that girl, she buys a lot of dresses, but she BETTER not be messing them up" - Dad said to her, that is my daughter and she doesn't mess anything up. In fact, we very often are in here picking up other shoppers messes as we are trying to shop (many things are often on the floor, falling off hangers, etc). Now it is to the point I no longer want to go into the Signal Butte location, and I shop this location most of all. It is one of our nearest Ross stores. I literally spend thousands in this store per year. But the principle of this is more important to me. I want to shop where my business is appreciated, and where I don't have to cringe that I am going to run into this hateful woman who harasses me every time I want to go shopping and spending my money at the store where she receives her paycheck because shoppers come in and "mess up" the racks, by shopping in the store, as the store is meant for. read more

My wife and I love this Ross store! Much better then the Ross store on Apache Trail (They are racist and rude). We have not had any problems purchasing or returning items at THIS store. Great products at great prices! read more

We will not be shopping at Ross anymore. My wife, a handy capped senior, bought more items than she could carry yesterday. Because the carts have sticks on them they cannot be taken from the store. She had difficulty getting the items to the car. When she asked for help but she was refused and had to make two trips from the store to her car. Obviously this store and Ross do not care. One star is a gift because there is no lower rating. read more

ross in general are one of my favs to shop. however, this location doesn't seem to carry a sufficient supply of retail items to suffice large clientele, & frankly prices r 2 high 4 what quality of merchandise you supply. i've found exact items cheaper at walmart, and i'm not a walmart fan! i came to ross 4 a month looking for a simple utensil canister-not stainless steel. gave up-found an italian made, gorgeous canister, at home goods, * clearance!*!! is it this location-.???...seems like items are priced above other ross stores! sad, cuz ross was fun to shop & this 1 is near by! and why--- can't we smell perfumes in locked case- store rules- if u, or employee, opens one to smell- u have 2 buy it! no testers-there has 2 b a better option for patrons plzzzz! ross, u r loosing business with limitations..including..not being able 2 take my full cart out 2 my car! i can't hold packages, my purse, keys, and a leash with my 100 lb service dog attached!! plz think about these important issues ..!! plz ross..i'll come back happily! and give u more stars! read more
