Today, Roselia completely changed my mind. As soon as she looked at my feet, she noticed how narrow they are and explained that the sandals simply needed to be adjusted properly. She took the time to carefully adjust every strap until they fit exactly as they should. The difference was incredible. Once everything was adjusted, they were as comfortable as everyone says they are. I ended up purchasing my first pair of Birkenstocks, and thanks to Roselia, I know they won't be my last. Roselia never made me feel rushed and genuinely wanted to make sure I found the right fit. She is knowledgeable, patient, and attentive--exactly the kind of employee every retailer hopes to have. Nordstrom is usually known for exceptional customer service, so this experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. My husband purchased a pair of shoes that ended up being too big. The shoes were in perfect condition, with the tags and receipt, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. When he attempted to return them, the employee acted as though they no longer accepted shoe returns. My husband has an accent and is not originally from this country, and the way he was treated made us very uncomfortable and concerned that he was being treated differently because of that. I called the store afterward to clarify the return policy and was assured that there was no policy preventing them from accepting a return on shoes. Then traveled out of the country. Before leaving, a manager had assured us that they would take care of the situation when we returned. Unfortunately, by the time we came back, we were outside the return window for receiving the money back on the original payment method. The new manager we dealt with was not understanding or considerate of the situation. In fact, she told us that even the store manager might not be able to do anything, but that manager would not be back for another five days. After everything that had happened, we were left wondering what the purpose of waiting another five days would be. We ultimately accepted store credit just to resolve the situation and move on. Then, as we were leaving, we could see the three employees together through the window, laughing shortly after our interaction. Whether they were laughing about us or not, that is certainly how it appeared, and it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. This entire situation could have been handled so easily with basic communication, understanding, and customer service. Instead, it became a frustrating experience from beginning to end. Nordstrom has a reputation for taking care of its customers. Unfortunately, this particular experience was the complete opposite. I sincerely hope management reviews what happened, because every customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity--regardless of their accent, background, or how they communicate.

I miss the corner area with all of the good clearance items .They still have a clearance area but it's loaded with Christmas items. Perfect time to grab Christmas decorations for sure! I stopped in for sheets and in hopes of finding a nice bed in a bag set but, there were none on sale and the ones I like were a 3pc in which, ì like the bigger sets. I was able to find my Mom mask and myself a cell phone holder so, it wasn't a wasted trip. The staff were fun and very helpful. A couple of them had on dinosaur costumes, in which, I totally forgot to go take a photo with them after the cashier asked me if I wanted one. I was in another world when he asked though. (A lot on my mind). There's plenty of parking and it's very close to other businesses. I hope that all of the news reports that they are closing all stores... are just rumors. I have to say that I like it very much. It seems to me almost every Dollar Tree store is a little different. Which, kind of makes it fun. They are all similar in the fact that they carry the basics which are very much the same. Some Dollar Tree stores have Frozen and refrigerated foods. But, not all of them. This particular Dollar Tree does indeed have the refrigerated section. Lots of cool things. What is really nice, was they had tons of cool little Valentine things. That is so much fun to splurge on. All the children in your life can do wonderful projects and crafts . I have been watching YouTube videos with Dollar Tree hauls. Lots of fun craft projects that I would've never thought of. I especially watched a lot of the Christmas ones. So then I realized there's a lot of fun things you can find at the Dollar Tree store . Birthday helium balloons and other Holiday Balloons are all available for just $1.00. It's amazing! I picked up a couple of items to add to my collection, and I'm already excited to style them for the season. The store was clean, organized, and beautifully displayed, making it easy to browse and find exactly what I was looking for. During this visit, no one offered assistance, but I was able to find everything I needed on my own and had a smooth shopping experience. I mentioned that I've been in previous trips and that items haven't rung up right and I noticed it when I got home. She said don't worry I'll hit the extra sale off. I said that's not what's happened, if the, "plate" or whatever item isn't rang in at the sale price than the 40% off isn't as helpful. She said I understand. She then checked that each item rang in correctly and then did the additional 40% off. She asked if I would like the receipt with me? I told her she did a perfect job and there's no need for me to review it. Her other co-worker finished up and asked if she could help wrap. I had two gift items separate from mine and they made sure to make them so cute!!
