The self checkout he said yes go to customer service. I got to customers service and they told me no. I asked them to price I was already in store. They told me I had to go online and do it and purchase it online. The only reason I asked them to do it was because I was already at the store. That way I didn't have to go back as I'm writing this review at home. I get a text saying the order is ready to be picked up. Typical Walmart. If it's busy the lines are always long, not enough employees on the floor, prices have slowly gone up. But overall it has a lot to offer and some of the employees are engaging and knowledgeable in the department they're in. Bathrooms seem to be cleaned regularly, and they have everything Walmart has. read more

I brought my car into the tire center because I had a slow leak in one of the tires that I had installed at this Walmart. The supervisor did an inspection of my tire and came back telling me there was nothing wrong with it. I took the tire over to Big O and they were able to say that there was a hole on the inside of the sidewall. since this tire had road hazard insurance on it, I went back to Walmart and asked them to swap the tire under the warranty. The person that checks you in, his name is Walt, told me that they didn't have that tire in stock and there was nothing he could do. other than have me buy a brand new tire, of course. When I asked if I could leave the car there and have a supervisor contact me, Walt told me that I had to be there in person to speak to the supervisor and basically refused to help me at that point. I ended up taking the car to a different location And they were happily able to assist me. I don't recommend this tire center to anyone, especially if you want any sort of customer service. read more

I was at the Walmart at 2555 Apache Trail in Apache Junction, Az, tonight, to try to do some shopping for various items. I went over to the cosmetics department and it was cordoned off. There were 2 employees walking by and I asked if I could get into the cosmetics department. They told me it closed at 10PM. I looked at my watch and it was 10:09PM. I said, "can one of you let me in?" They said that someone would have to escort me around (I guess I look like I might steal something), and that neither of them could do it. I asked if there was anyone else in the store that could let me in to the cosmetics department, and they said no. OK, well so much for customer service. The manager here is a total joke. And I'm going to stoop to the level of saying he is absolutely INCOMPETENT! One could guess that from the high school "punk rock" attire. He wears more ugly jewelry than a tween. But more of the problem is his absolute INEPT ability to provide customer service. I will never set foot in this store again. I was attempting to purchase some household products & chips. But I couldn't easily do that when other patrons were allowing their offspring to literally CLIMB the shelving racks, actually SMASHING on products in their impromptu "play area". After struggling to find a roll of paper towels & toilet paper that WEREN'T compromised, having to maneuver around ill mannered patrons & their disgustingly behaved adolescents, I was FINALLY able to retrieve ONE package that wasn't compromised. ...and then one of the juveniles decides to projectile SPIT! I am horrified. I finished my shopping, skipping the compromised products. Promptly went to customer service after checking out & she called the manager. As I'm waiting there for 15+ minutes- she is apologizing (NOT her fault!) but also reiterating to me what a HORRIBLE, crappy place this store is. And definitely mentioned the only reason she keeps the job is because it's making ends meet, desperate. That left me more upset than the issue I originally had. As she is explaining this to me, the manager has now walked past THREE times. Without coming to address my issue. She had to point him out so I could literally chase him down! He had NO intention of coming to the call & helping the situation. NONE! So I finally stop him in his tracks. Minus the fact he was wearing an absolutely disgusting amount of "punk rock" chains, stud bracelets & fighting rings like he just graduated from an alternative high school- he had 0 regard for the situation. Asked to inspect the products in my cart, that I had purchased. WHY?! That wasn't the issue! I'm complaining about what I COULDN'T purchase!! The overall conclusion in his disability to properly manage & exhibit legit customer service: nothing. He did not care about patrons compromising products others want to purchase. He didn't care it took over 15 minutes for him to arrive & acknowledge a call. He didn't care whatsoever when I suggested the Health Department or corporate get involved. Never again. Get rid of your CRAP manager! The store absolutely could be better- but WalMart cares more about money than the lady standing there at customer service TWICE as qualified to do the job of that disgusting jerk. I will never step foot in this location again. And absolutely advise all others. Get your act together! What happened today is not secluded, and is absolutely inexcusable. I have gone to this same store 100 times. I have taken my foster children (ages 7-17) and have purchased alcohol. I went this time with a relative whom is 35 years old, and I couldn't buy alcohol because he was in his swim trunks without his ID. HOW DOES ANY REASONABLY INTELLIGENT PERSON MAKE SENSE OF BEING ABLE TO BUY ALCOHOL WITH MINOR CHILDREN, but not with adults? This store has staff whom look either 14 or homeless. If you want to be treated as if you were stupid then this is the store for you. I bought a pair of shorts, when I went home I realized I bought the incorrect size. Tried to return them the next day, but they couldn't accept the return due to COVID19. I understood that time & second time I tried to return them, but now that the state is open & we've learned more about the virus so it's ridiculous that they won't accept my return. In addition, when I bought them we were in the middle of COVID19 yet, they didn't mind selling them to me when the virus could be on the shorts. Furthermore, they are no longer requiring masks in the store & only about 20% of customers had masks on. So, the virus excuse is ridiculous, especially when other stores are accepting returns. I had a great experience at this Walmart! I spent my memorial day weekend being bounced around and misinformed while looking for help fixing my father's car when most shops were closed. Ryan, the service manager in the automotive department went well above and beyond to help us out today and we sincerely appreciate his honesty with us. Thanks again Ryan! We had another great experience with Molly in electronics, who was positive and enthusiastic about helping us with a new phone. She showed patience and answered all our questions. Everyone else we encountered seemed to be in good spirits despite working on a holiday. Very disappointed with Walmart Optical Department. I purchased a glasses from their Mesa, AZ , 1606 S. Signal Butte, on February 10, 2020. I have had them eight months and the coating on the lenses has failed. I first noticed the problem in June but did not return to Arizona until early October. I was told by their optical department that while cleaning I had scratched the lenses and they couldn't help me. The employee "knew" this without even inspecting the glasses. I informed her that I have worn glasses for thirty five years and was well aware of the proper method to clean lenses. I also let her know that I only used lens cleaning products sold by Walmart Optical. Had the employee inspected the glasses they would have found the coating has degenerated over the entire lens. The only way I could have destroyed the surface to this extent was to clean them with sand. Needless to say, I won't be going back. read more

I was willing to forgive the fact that their selections were slim for the sake of convenience and then my boyfriend tried to send me a money order. The woman denied it for no good reason, but this was after she sent an older gentleman to go chase down a DPCI when it was clearly on the receipt from his return. I would never do this to my customers at Target and they had more people on the floor than we do. When there is somebody at the fitting room, or a sales person, even a back room team member, they will run the DPCI check. This woman was rude, unoccomodating, and nasty. Do not go here. If I could give negative stars I would! I was treated absolutely horrible tonight! I went in to get something for my cat, and when I walked by the fish section I was appalled to see such HORRIBLE, filthy fish tanks! This isn't my regular Walmart, I had left a restaurant and needed something and this was the closest one to where I was at. The fish tanks were full of mold and you could tell the fish had not been fed in quite some time! They all followed me as I walked. There were several dead fish as well. Some had been dead so long the bones were starting to show, and were crumbling apart!! I asked an employee that was standing near if he could clean or feed the fish and I was informed he would get in trouble if he did. The employee had apparently tried before, and got in trouble. I asked why they even have fish if they couldn't take care of them and just let them rot. He said that the center itself did not want anymore fish but corporate kept sending them so they just do not take care of them, usually until they die! So it's about 10:00pm & I went up to the customer service desk to confront the manager about this. There were two ladies in front of me and the lady at the register said, "I'm taking care of these two and I'm closed, I can't help you!" This wouldn't have bothered me, I understand it's late and she probably had to clock out but she was very rude with her tone and body language. The way I was treated was so rude to the point the lady in front of me turned around and said, "can you believe this is how they talk to people? She isn't the only one who has treated customers like this tonight! It seems to be the theme for this Walmart!" I looked at the cashier and informed her I was only up there for a manager, and didn't need her help. She took offense to this and said "you want a manager, oh I'll get you a manager!" I was extremely mad at this point and wasn't very nice. I raised my voice and told her there was absolutely no reason to treat me or anyone else like that! She laughed and didn't care. The manager walked out while the cashier and I were exchanging words and she never even stopped her! I asked the manager if she lets the cashier Malinda treat customers like that. I could tell she felt bad but knew the cashier would yell at her too if she said anything (which is pathetic). I asked the manager if she had seen the poor fish tanks and she said no. I showed her the pictures which she felt bad and said she would try to see if she could find someone to clean & feed them. I am so appalled by the customer service and those poor, starving, dying fish who have no one to help them! I normally don't care for fish but this is just horrible. I'll be calling corporate tomorrow, but someone needs to put this Walmart on blast. Just disgusting!! read more

The store is ok, BUT whoever is in charge of ordering product & stocking it should be fired. There are huge empty spaces, products that have literally been out for months (ring "snuggies", Tang are two that come to mind right off the bat). I mentioned it last winter, and was told "winter visitors". Are these a big surprise? The invasion happens every year. It is now August, so this would not be a valid excuse. I've done the walmart grocery pickup several times now. They charge my card right away after I order and then I don't receive 1-2 items each time because they aren't in stock. Yet I'm charged the whole amount and I never receive a refund. I contacted customer service and they didn't speak english well, blamed the bank and said I wasn't charged for them. Well my experience at Walmart that I Center has been difficult. I got Nikon lenses and after a while on the sides they started to look scratched. Nikons warranty is lifetime so Walmart had to reorder lens to replace my scratch ones. Well I got get them put in and it takes them a while to put them in. Then the lady came back to me handed me my glasses and said ok everything is good. I put them to my face and they were scratched worst then I gave them. WTF. My thought. She said it was the clothe. The cloth was dirty. NO!!! Those are scratched. She took them to another lady she wiped them for about 5 mins then brought them back. She said we'll have to reorder them another 7 days. She was just gonna hand me the scratched lens I said no please put the old lens back. At least my old ones aren't as bad. Yes they were that bad. No one saw that before calling me in. Are you where the stupid people and pharmacy It Started Tuesday to get a prescription filled for sotalol and then Walmart didn't have it so they had to order it and said it would be there on Wednesday I went to get it on Wednesday and it had not been ordered and said they would order it and have it on Thursday on Thursday I went back and they said the supplier did not ship it I said I need it can you get it at add another Walmart store ? they contacted the store some 20 miles away and that they have the drug and that I had to go there and get it when I got there they said they could not fill the prescription because they didn't have the order on paper they needed the paper copy prescription and I said it was in the system and it was just a refill and She said she couldn't do it without without the proper paperwork from the other Walmart She did something on the computer to the other Walmart and the other Walmart denied the request . by the time I got home I got a Robo call from Walmart saying the prescription has been filled . we went to go get it and talk to the pharmacist in Apache Junction and the pharmacist their said there should not have been a problem at Walmart because The computer are all the same at Walmart and he's in the system. This review is for the the auto center at this location. I took my car here for new tires and an oil change. I was greeted by an older gentleman who was very helpful with getting me registered to maintenance my car. I can definitely say that they went above and beyond to offer a great level of service at low prices I would expect from Wal-Mart. I want to make special mention to Ryan and Tony in the automotive center, they were very professional as well as helpful. I was having an additional issue with my tire pressure monitoring system, they took the time to resolve the issue at no extra cost. read more

I have been to a few different Walmart's in Maricopa county which has a mandate of wearing a mask and I am someone who can not wear one but anytime I went to a Walmart, I was either not even asked or they politely asked if I wanted one and were super nice when I said I couldn't. Apache Junction Walmart was a different story. First of all, they have a sign stating due to the local/state mandates, masks are required. Well Pinal county does not have that mandate and neither does Apache Junction so this is strictly a Walmart policy which is fine but don't mislead your customers. Secondly, the lady who was at the front door with numerous other employees was extremely rude when I walked in and she stopped me saying very loudly 'Umm a mask?' and glared at me. I said I couldn't wear one and she almost said something more but thought better of it. She gave me a nasty look and turned around. She could use a class in customer service. I know this doesn't seem very bad but it is hard being someone who can't wear a mask and having everyone judging you, not knowing why you can't wear one and making you feel ashamed. I thought I was safe going to the AJ Walmart since there are no mandates but I will stick to other Walmart's from now on where the employees have some class. Another thing is I don't understand the only one door open and making everyone shuffle through the same opening and not having at least one door in and one door out. Especially how hot it is here right now, I have seen many seniors turn away because they parked at the closed door without realizing and they decided not to go in because it's too hot for them to walk to the other door. I believe the risk of infection would be higher having everyone clustered in one area. Need a quick oil change? Don't go here! And don't even think of not being exactly in the lane! My sister and I were enjoying the day with the top off the Jeep when we took a break for and oil change. Not wanting to get sun burned while waiting for the SLOWEST old man on the planet to get us checked in we pulled a little out of the lane marks to get some shade. When it came to our turn to get checked in he directed the vehicle waiting behind us to a lane next to us and started checking them in. When we asked him if we could get an oil change he very rudely told us we weren't in the lane correctly. I explained we were waiting quite awhile and needed shade. I have been having items delivered to my home from this location for 10 months now. I have experience a couple of hiccups with their deliveries before, but today is the final straw. I started ordering groceries to be delivered about 2 months ago. One incident about a month ago was part of my delivery made it to my home, but the part was delivered to someone else. I got a refund for the missing 2 items, however it took over 2 weeks to receive it. Today I placed a large order and I was told it would arrive sometime between 6 and 7pm. These were items I needed for tomorrow. I got a notice that it had been delivered at 6:36pm, however I was watching our porch and nothing had come. I contacted the delivery manager at the Walmart and he kept telling me it had been delivered and I kept telling him no it wasn't. He sent me a photo of my groceries sitting on a porch, but it wasn't my porch. He hung up and called the driver who never answered his call. When he called me back he acted like I was lying about not receiving it. I told him that we live about a mile from the Walmart on the same street even and that he could come here and see that the picture is not of my place. He was rude and yes I am ashamed to say I lost my temper with him towards the end, I can't believe the incompetence of this store and this department. We made a decision to never shop here again nor order anything from Walmart again. Order at your own risk! read more
