Most of the time it is a mere slight inconvenience (and not horribly messed up) and I'm more than fine with that (having someone else literally have to grocery shop for me...for no extra fee). When I've been charged for items I didn't receive (I only responded to their feedback requests that you get when you do curbside delivery two times where my order was a bit too messed up for even me) they've made it more than right each time. Considering what grocery store workers deal with...I worked at one (from the day I turned 16) for 7 years and I know what they deal with...I think they're doing a good job overall. I really don't think 1 star reviews for just a handful of bad experiences is warranted, especially in today's world where these ratings can be so damaging.

It's funny how many corners have competing pharmacies, not sure how that works in the business strategy category. I use my Walgreen reward card to bank points and use them for free items for $$ credits towards a purchase. The Walgreens app is decent for keeping track of your points and checking inventory before you stop into a store. The staff is way more friendly than CVS in my opinion. I've actually had some bad experiences with CVS in the past (with both pharmacy and store). The big separator for me is the price- Walgreens seems to be way cheaper, and reward members can capitalize on better item discounts. I also love to use Walgreens for photos. I've had passport pics taken at a Walgreens (ready in less than 10 minutes!) and I've also printed MANY photos, made holiday cards and even printed a photo book. Again use the app (or web site) to upload your photos and have them ready at your local store within an hour. Make sure to Google search a coupon as they are ALWAYS out there and will save you a killing! Other perks: drive-thru pharmacy (drop-off and pickup), Hallmark cards, basic food items, great gift card selection... it really is a great stop to grab an emergency item (gift, batteries, toy, candy before theater, etc.).

The store was staffed by great people, there was a feeling of "good chill" in the air, a happy atmosphere even though they were all busy in the Pharmacy as well as the rest of the store. Hubby and I went in to get a few things, ended up buying things we probably didn't need, and some we did, like ready-made- cocktails! The Pharmacy was staffed by great people, all friendly, attentive and made everything run smoothly. I have autoimmune conditions so had a booster vaccination for Covid and all its variations, so I am safer when deployed for work. At checkout we met David (I hope I remembered correctly..) and started talking about candy, specifically the Necco brand which he had never tried, so since I like this candy and hadn't bought a roll in ages, I offered him one after picking a roll up. Meantime he had asked what type/flavor they had, so ever helpful hubby ;) said to him that "They taste like Tums" ! Well, I don't think David liked it much after that comment, but it was a fun interaction. I didn't take any photos - but I will update that asap. Thank you all at CVS for making this visit easy and super pleasant!!

Since moving back to Arizona and dealing with this particular location, I am completely disgusted by the constant turnover, rude staff, and pharmacy shutdowns because of no staff. Today, I decided to stop for a few things, and when I rang a bell for service (I did so because I was standing there for awhile, no one was near, and there was a small sign that said to do so if needed), the clerk came up and said there is self checkout. I told her if I wanted self checkout, I would've gone there. She then said she was talking to the person behind me, but that person wasn't checking out. This woman was rude and is a true reflection of the type of people this location hires. As of now, I will be moving all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, and I will no longer do business with CVS. I can see why the company has to restructure its business model and is closing so many stores.
