I'm going to do my best to make a long story short so bear with me. My dog requires daily medication I usually take his prescription to CVS with no issues, I was told they didn't have any in stock there or anywhere else, ok I'll try Walgreens. I drop the prescription off at Walgreens on Monday, here we are Thursday and I have called every day only to get the run around, on minute they are telling me it will be ready in 30 mins, then when I called an hour later they tell me oh no you talked to the call center they don't know anything let me look into this, she proceeds to tell me she doesn't have my dogs prescription on file and has no record of all my calls. Whatever I can get past that, so I just want to move forward, they tell me they only have half the prescription, that's fine I'll take it. I finally get the text I have been waiting for my prescription is ready! Woohoo off to the pharmacy I go. I get there only to be met with a bill for $115 for half a prescription, with CVS I get a full prescription for $37, you do the math, that's a pretty big difference pay more money for half the prescription!!!! What the heck. So I ask what is going on? The lady tells me there is a national shortage of the dose my dogs needs. I can get it in a different dose, but the vet needs to call it in, vet office is closed today. I sure wish someone would've communicated this sooner so this was all resolved a week ago!! I'm beyond disappointed and frustrated with the customer service I received from this Walgreens. read more

GEEEEEZ! I know pharmacies are short staffed but this one takes an insanely long time for anything! Drive through has a massive line every time I drive by, inside is no faster, and each time I've gotten a vaccine here I wait a half hour or more to be seen despite an appointment! It's actually faster to drive to a Walgreens further away or go somewhere else because this one is just ridiculous! read more

I don't frequent Walgreens, but definitely have visited my fair share, for prescriptions, photo printing, quick snack or convenience store need and what not! Their prices are not typically competitive, but the convenience is obviously, well convenient! On this most recent visit to this location, we were visiting it for its 24 hours pharmacy, it's the only one in my particular area, which is why we found ourselves here after an urgent care visit! We went at about 8 o'clock in the evening, and found there was quite a long line in the drive through, so opted to go inside. Lo' and behold, the inside line was equally as long with about 10. people and moved one person in about 15 minutes, so my husband and I opted to wait in the drive thru, as it seemed like it was going faster. We waited in line for about 45 minutes to an hour and the line moved about 4 cars. It seemed as if they were not ready with many of the prescriptions, and led to the major hold up. This has also happened to me in a previous situation, when a prescription was supposed to be ready and was not for about another 45 minutes or after checking in. That being said, not much of an option when needed a prescription at the late hour, but I would say error on the side of caution and prepare to be there for a hot minute. read more

I want to make sure the store manager and the pharmacy manager receive the thanks and the credit they deserve for doing a great job in helping their customers. When the pharmacy automatic refill system requested the wrong prescription from my doctor it set into motion a series of events that ended up with me taking home the wrong prescription and not noticing until I opened the box. Both Susan and Ashley researched the event and found the error. Although their hands are tied when it comes to the poor working of the pharmacy system and the errors it creates, they worked hard to make sure I had my perscription before I left town and that I didn't have to pay for the drug that was incorrect. They listend to what I had to say and actually heard me. They took the iniative to make sure their customer was safe with the correct perscription. I will happily recomend the Walgreens on Brown and Greenfield in Mesa Arizona becasue I beleive they actually care and will do what it takes to keep customers safe and cared for. read more

I've never seen a business so dysfunctional then the Walgreens pharmacy at Greenfield and Southern. 5 DAYS ago I called and asked them to have my prescription transferred there from another pharmacy and have the prescription filled. 5 DAYS I've not been able to take the medication I need as I wait for them to do their jobs. I have called or gone there personally everyday to check on the status of my prescription. Yesterday, they actually gave me the WRONG prescription and I had to discover it myself and go back and tell them. Each time I've talked to someone they explain away why it's not their fault and that it will get done the next day and it never does. If I could transfer the prescription myself I would, but the pharmacist has to do it. I am totally baffled that a business can not complete a simple task like this when I am dependent upon taking these pills. I will never go there again. read more

Their drive-thru pharmacy is like the fast food of prescriptions--quick, convenient, and you don't have to change out of your pajamas. It's perfect for those days when getting out of the car feels like climbing Everest. The wait times can be lenghty, but there is the option to park and jump inside if the last resort is needed. The pharmacists are friendly and still manage to answer all your questions through a window, which feels a bit like talking to a medication guru at a drive-thru confessional. Overall, it's a speedy, safe, and a way to handle your pharmacy needs without ever leaving your car. P.S. Greenfield road is currently under major construction, but they are still open. read more

Atrocious customer service. Non existent. Today, when I went to pick up my prescription, the drive through employee casually dropped that they changed my manufacturer but "it's still the same medication". I told her that my doctor ordered a specific brand for me due to adverse side effects I have from other generic manufacturers. She had my credit card in her hand when I asked her to check my chart and she literally threw it back into the payment drawer, that's how put out she was by my asking this question. She went to speak to the pharmacist to see if they had something else, and when she came back and told me they didn't, I asked why I wasn't notified when the prescription was sent. She stated that she didn't know because she doesn't work Monday through Friday so it wasn't her fault. Unfortunately , it's the weekend and my doctor's office is closed. I'm out so I won't be able to wait until Monday to get a new prescription therefore, I had to take the the brand they had. When I told her this, she shoved the drawer open for payment and told me the total again. I had to tell her my card was still in the drawer where she threw it. I'm not confrontational and rarely advocate for myself in situations like these, I just suck it up and move on. I get anxiety every time I go to this location, because they've been completely horrible every single time. The only reason I didn't change to a different pharmacy is because after the last incident (that one was worse, and spanned three days of trying to correct my prescription) the pharmacist herself called me and apologized and went the extra mile to get me the correct medication. I was embarrassingly in tears after that experience. I can no longer tolerate the ineptitude or the horrible way they treat people. I'm going to file a formal complaint after today's experience. Not for myself, I won't be back to this location, but for the other patients, especially the elderly, who may not be able to choose to go elsewhere. Please consider another pharmacy if you're dependent on any medication, especially if you have any allergies. If they can give me something my doctor specified I couldn't have, they shouldn't be trusted with anything more serious. Pharmacists are human, and if this were an isolated incident I'd reconsider, but they tried to do the same thing in March and at that time a different clerk caught it right before handing it to me. read more

I went to pick up my medication when I received an email stating it was ready. It was not ready, I had to wait for 40 minutes when I arrived, then they charged me almost 20$ more than what I was quoted.. go somewhere else! Waist of time and money.. read more

Still such a terrible Walgreens store. In a rough part of town with a ton of construction around the store. They cannot handle a rush to save their lives- I was in the drive-thru for over 30 minutes for whatever reason and the line inside took almost 30 minutes. Ridiculous. Worst pharmacy and techs are inept and uneducated. Was told twice on phone by two separate techs that it was up to me to accept a short medication script and to just call in the others I was shorted. No details no dates etc. Then come back and pick up. Called doctor first time ever and had them call in as they stated happens all the time with them. For months there in back order which changes my daily dosage to have to break down capsules and guesstimate how much to take. I take three for a reason and they're too ignorant to comprehend that. So after calling doc then, getting online app and adding these two small amounts (10) & (8) of medications I can see there in there system so I press order these and get ready. Boom done. I get two emails one for each script. Stated "pickup date and time" date time for after midnight and one minute apart. Now I'm no genius or a dumb pharmacist but those words when I order door dash mean the same I think "drop off time. Date " pickup I think means I go pickup etc. And so I'm off and avoid sleep after hard day. Work early morning...naaah I'll take the long drive now because work is too far . Shannon the ignorant pharmacist mathematician she is stated after I show her the emails with pickup date and time etc. What two of your employees told me. (Recorded by the way) my doctor calling in. First, pharmacy made a mistake on my prescription by only giving me 1/2 of my medication, 90 tablets instead of 180. Had to phone in corrected one. Told to come by next day. Came late in the evening the next day, and they hadn't even filled it yet. Waited in line in the store for 10 minutes because there were 4 cars waiting in drive-thru. Looks like they are unable to serve their customers. They told me I could wait 20 minutes for it. Told them to deliver it to me. I just hope I get the remainder of my prescription before it runs out. Ordered 100 - 4x6 photos for same day pick up late tonight and they were a little blurry and not quite up to par. Rick, in the photo area was Johnny on the spot helping me reload and correct the problem using their kiosk, and then reprinting my entire order! BEST customer service I have ever had at Walgreens or any pharmacy or same day pick up for that matter! This will ALWAYS be my go-to late night pick for 24/7 photos and or RX's. I usually have good experiences at this walgreens, but today i didn't. after waiting in line for quite a while, i had realized that i had forgotten my wallet in the car. told akal, the cashier, that i would be right back- ran out and was back in store within 20 seconds and akal was already helping someone else, which i understand. i then asked if i could wait on the side since my stuff was right there and akal very rudely told me to get in back of the long line again since "he had to get through so many people." being as i used to be a cashier this was a general rule we followed but i guess not everyone follows it. side note for akal, if you weren't so unreasonably slow you wouldn't constantly have long lines of "people you need to get through" ;) good thing this isn't only walgreens around here. promise you will get better customer service at any other location. read more

I visited this store tonight with my partner and when I walked into the store with him the clerk smiled and waved and said hello. I left him browsing for a few minutes to go and get some items and the clerk on duty asked him to remove his hoodie when he was alone. I asked the clerk the reason why and she said it is "for our safety". There was no signage posted about this policy as seen by the picture I took at the front door. I bought my items and when requested to speak to the general manager she claimed she did not know who it was as she had just transferred to the store. I will not be visiting this store or any other Walgreens due to the profiling nature of the store. Listen, I know it's flu season. I realize that it's snowbird season. I feel for you. The healthcare business sucks around this time. That doesn't mean that it's 'no holds barred' and you can throw customer service out the window. I unfortunately had to come here when my pharmacy didn't have the cough syrup I was prescribed. I waited in line for what felt like 10 years to give my prescription to the staff for filling. I told them I'd wait, and stood forever. I couldn't sit anymore after what now felt like 100 years, so I got back in line to ask about my script. They hadn't even entertained the idea of filling it. The employee saw that I was pretty much dying waiting there and took pity on me. He had the pharmacist do it quick, and I was out of there. The staff was brash, ignored people, took forever, and the store was a hot mess. I will not return to this Walgreens if I can't help it. read more
