The pharmacy needs to be more efficient. I've been waiting on my pain meds for three days. Now I know they have a 30 day policy. But these people told my wife it's "only 3 days". I'm a stage 4 cancer patient and they have been sitting on the script for three days. Why is not filled and ready for pickup? I called and asked and they refused to work with me. I will be transferring my scripts to another location after dealing w a whole pharmacy team with no compassion or willingness to work with me. read more

Employees claim it's a horrible place to work and that they're going bankrupt. Many times there is only 1 working, and not a pharmacist. Over priced and poor service. Guess they'll learn the hard way as they go out of business. Need staffing & lower prices. And timely script fills. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've been trying to get a prescription for my mom for about 7 days. Finally on the day they are supposed to have the medication in stock, and she's received a message that the prescription is ready to be picked up. We go thru the drive-thru, it's about 3:00pm, waiting in line for 20 to 30 minutes just to get to the window where they told us that we don't have the prescription ready to but if you come back, it will be ready for you at 6:15pm. I said I will be back by 6:30pm. I am again waiting in the drive thru at about 6:20pm, waiting again for 20 to 30 minutes just to get to the window and they tell us, you have to come inside the store and be sitting in one of the chairs before we can even fill this prescription for you. Why? It's not a controlled substance or anything, Nope, it's just their policy. Why didn't someone tell me this when I tried to pick it up earlier in the day? I am super frustrated by this point, I go into the store, and of course there are about 4 people in line. Finally, after not helping 2 of the customers in front of me, (I will explain that in a moment), they tell me they don't have it in stock and they can only give me 5 days worth, Or I can wait until the 13th when they should receive it. I asked how much the copay would be for the 5 days or can I wait to pay for the whole thing on the 13th but still take the 5 days supply now, All of sudden they had enough to fill 30 days. To get this prescription filled cost me almost 2 hours of time today. Back to the 2 customers in front of me. I overheard the one lady tell the customer that because February only has 28 days in that why her prescription is short 2 days until she is able to get it refilled. Huh? What about the months that have 31 days in them, they don't give you 31 days of medication. The other customer was sent over by another Walgreens because they didn't have what she needed in stock, this is about 7:00pm, they told her she needs to contact her Doctor's office and have them discontinue the Prescription at the first Walgreens and have them send a new prescription to this Walgreens. I have never seen such a poorly run Pharmacy. I am looking to switch all of my Mom's medications to another pharmacy not Walgreens related. read more

This pharmacy is the most slowest pharmacy there is. Not only being slow they lie and say it's too soon to fill your prescription and you talk to them and explain that you have an appointment with your doctor every 4 weeks. So no it's not to early, then they say, we don't have enough. They are totally lying. There are other Walgreens within a few miles they could get it from. I'm so sick and tired of this Walgreens if I have to wait an extra day then it messes up my appointment 4 weeks later. They need new staff. My appointment was ar 9am. No Stars.... The Pharmacy, the oldest Pharmacist is a joke well not a joke as it's been very upsetting dealing with things things that are simple!! Saying yes I have your medication call to get it ready get there and only have less than half the amount another time same thing yes I have that give me an hour I gave an hour n half get there and was told no don't have any I said again! What do I do I called my doctor and now waiting to hear back... it's not that simple to contact doctor and get response in proper manner. I - We rely upon our Pharmacy's to hire efficient caring Pharmacist and staff along with carrying all types of medications- medical supplies. Oh Get that darn drive through window microphones fixed.... Wow! Now I called to speak with Pharmacy Management was transferred twice with no one answering what the bleeep! So finally I get ahold of management in which she stated she has my phone number she will go talk with Pharmacist and call me back - Just I knew stuck together on oh well we don't have in stock though I was told they did an hour n half before as I was asked to give them an hour to fill. I will never return and I will tell / share my experience with everyone telling them to not go here Walgreens on old west Hwy and Idaho. I had such a terrible experience with one of the pharmacist having an attitude with me that I trasferred all my medications and all my family's medications. Some of the staff are great, others have terrible customer service. If you dont like sitting next to a window watching staff ignore you at a drive through, dont enjoy having three staff take an attitude with you TOGETHER over the phone, or enjoy having a petty pharmacist repeatedly dismiss your prescriptions in progress out of spite, chose another store. Also, if you take stimulants, get ready to take on the pharmacists judgement as well. I emailed Walgreens headquarters and complained and they never even responded. read more

After my experience with Jabin Davis today and yesterday after a misunderstanding, my prescription was canceled. I cannot get a refill now for three weeks and my prescription will sit at my mom's house while I do my best to deal with court and work for the first time since June of last year because my mental health is rough. I cannot recommend filling your prescription at this store if you are someone that takes medication for attention deficit disorder, he takes the shortage very seriously and will treat you as medication seeking if you show up a day early, accidentally, then lie about what day your prescription was filled if your second medication will be filled the next day. He is power tripping because he is also the manager. The pharmacy tech I spoke with to try to figure out what was going on clearly had reservations about his attitude with me as well. Do not go here unless you look like a straight American with a white collar office job, or are the elderly. Unfortunately I look like a punk with piercings and colored hair, and missing teeth from being abused. He probably thought I was an addict. I am just forgetful and easily excited. I have been using WALGREENS since I was a child and will not coming back personally even if it means I remain mentally unwell until he is fired or moves to a different pharmacy after the way he spoke to me on the phone and hung up. If you ask him why he is speaking to you (like an idiot, but I didn't say that) like that, he will accuse you of something, yell at you about being very patient, and hang up on you after saying he is legally only required to give you his name. I guess I'll just have to go in to find his certificate that is legally required to be on the wall in plain sight to find the information he refused to give over the phone. read more

The pharmacy is literally full of trash. The people in the back have their own agendas and don't fill prescriptions based on their own discrepancy. First, they have an insurance issue, yet my insurance is the same and has been for years. I got a little snippy with the pharmacists, which was a mistake cause now this takes a full week to get resolved, without my meds. Then I go to pickup on the day they say the insurance cleared it for, and they tell me they're out of stock and I need to wait 3 more days. I asked to have it transferred and they tell me they can't. I have family that fills the same script at this pharmacy and they just filled they're meds, the SAME meds as me, AFTER they told me they were out of stock. At this point they are withholding my medication illegally and I have now involved the state board of pharmacies, filled a complaint with their DEA number, and I am hiring a lawyer due to the medical repercussions I'm facing without my medicine. Stay away from them, if they didn't have complete control over my next month of medicine I would do everything I could to get this pharmacist fired. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is terrible. Definitely avoid it and go to another pharmacy if possible. This happens to be the closest one to me but literally every time I go to pick up a prescription there is an issue. They'll notify you it's ready and then you get there and say they don't have it. On top of that, they are super rude about it. I understand with everything going on right now, there's gonna be issues, but at least be nice about it and treat people with respect. We moved to the East valley about a year ago. I've never had a problem with ANY Walgreens pharmacy until I moved here. Maria is horrible. I've never had someone in the pharmacy industry be so disrespectful and insulting.. Never. This might be the "Apache Junction" location but I live around the corner and own a house that values well over 1.5 million dollars. I work as an interior designer for 2 firms and my husband is a builder. The "Walgreens pharmacy text service has been down for 3 days so I stopped by to see when my prescription would be ready. Maria, treated me as if I was a drug addict and snapped at me. She was so rude, snotty and straight up disrespectful. She was by far the worst employee I've ever talked to at any pharmacy. Unfortunately this entire pharmacy acts like you're an inconvenience when you go there. Every employee there never bothers to say hello, hi how are you, etc. all they will say to you is: "name" "dob" , "address". Again I get it's Apache junction but wow. Rudest employee's you will ever meet. I couldn't image treating people the way Maria treated me, there are other employees that are somewhat decent but most of the team at this location is horribly disrespectful.. Maria being by far the worst. Can't believe this is a Walgreens pharmacy that allows employees to treat people this way. You are a pharmacy, your customer's are human's. No one deserves to be treated that way. read more

The pharmacy here isn't my favorite. I just moved here, and when they were taking all of my information (by reading the info on my prescriptions) they got both my old pharmacy's number and my number incorrect. They called me later that night claiming my old pharmacy doesn't exist (which is when I found out they wrote down their number wrong). A few days later I went to see if my prescription was ready. It was, and they put a phone number on the screen asking if I could confirm the last 4 digits of my phone number. They had it typed with 2 different area codes (one from where I'm from and an Arizona one). I had an issue with a Fed Ex shipment. On 8/29, I dropped off THREE packages at the Walgreens at the SW corner of Apache Junction and Meridian. I received text confirmation of the packages being received. Two of them I received notification of my credit being posted, the next day. On 9/13, I contacted the store manager about my missing return. I supplied him with multiple documents supporting my claim. I even gave him the time window the items were scanned in. Seven days later I took more supporting documents about my claim. They told me there was nothing they could do about it. I have spent in excess of $2800 in the last year at Walgreens and they can't make good on a a $142 mistake on their part. Never doing business with them again. You have an outside sitting area, propane, water, and even Redbox, they really seem to have a lot for the one stop shop kind of means; from water to movies to even having a cook out. They are Walgreens and still they got stuff for you, so go have a cookout; they got to have a grill, its Walgreen's time. read more
