    Lobster Pizza so Delicious !!!
    JC C.

Dined here after a day trip to the Zoo based on friends recommendations. Greeted well, and had reservations. Was not busy, but booked anyways cause we came in from out of town. No sweat tea, were offered simple syrup since I don't do any of those artificial sweeteners. This would be .5 star deduction, we are in South. (Yes that helped, but not the same) Waitress was pleasant, but had vibe we just couldn't place? She did well, and our service was just better than average, but not over the top. Not anything really wrong, just not sure how to describe our experience. We still tipped well and hoping helper got part of it since she left before we finished, and other did deserts. We started off with Tuscan Butter appetizer. The mixture was good, & the bread was very warm/fresh. Wife ordered Ravioli w/ traditional sauce. She said it was light & filling and just about right portion. M.I.L. ordered Chicken Ravioli since not a red sauce fan. She finished it, & said would order it again. (Picky) I got the Lobster Pizza. (Uploaded a photo as well) This was fabulous and one of the best I've ever had. Normally don't do desserts, but... everything is made in house. So wife got Tiramisu and Millionaire Pie for myself. My M.I.L. will not eat sweets. Both were divine... Over I rate this a 4.5, but Yelp is whole stars only, so they get a 4. Would I come again? Yes, if we we were in the area. (Not locals)

Went to have lunch with friends Tuesday. Our food was delicious. I ordered a Miss Mary's l vinaigrette salad with grilled chicken. It was very tasty. I also saved room for the homemade tiramisu. It was very light and I could taste the coffee flavors throughout. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is quite nice with a calm and sophisticated ambience. The decorations are simple and classic with nice lamps on the tables. There was a beautifully painted mural of Italy on the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was very cordial but had some challenges throughout our lunch. She had our large party as well as another large party. She may have been the only wait staff present for lunch that day. There was another young lady assisting our server from time to time. We had to wait a long time for our checks and food. When we received our checks there was some confusion. She was able to correct all the checks and we did depart soon after. The prices are somewhat comparable to other restaurants in the area. My salad was 17.00 and was a good size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom was nice and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I may return to try other items.

Ok so I wanted authentic 100% real Italian food and found out about this place called Ronnie Grisanti's and it was incredible. The food was excellent the service was perfect and the staff was very friendly even on my birthday they showed love; I was so touched by the way they were so kind to me I tipped but the choices in cocktails and drinks definitely great pastas appetizers even pizza and salad but wish I gotten pizza though maybe next time when I go back in a couple of weeks with a date maybe. My experience overall solid 5 stars I will be returning and yes I highly recommend this place because of you don't like the food than come for the drinks or just to get away from stress or whatever I suggest this is where you want to go.

Very busy when I went but still great service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved the ambiance and music playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, they also had one from California if you prefer that. Then order the seasoned loaf of bread that is precut in slices for you and served warm. It's called Pane All'aglio. Then I got the ceased salad. They make the dressing in house. It was super yummy! For my main course I ordered the Elfo Special. It had such great flavor! I would recommend the place and everything I ate.

Had a very good dinner here on a Tuesday (or Wednesday?) night around the holidays. There is ample parking and they had huge spotlights in the parking lot. So we felt fine parking and walking in. It was pretty empty but a few tables were having what seemed to be holiday dinners. So they can accommodate groups. My friend and I walked in with no reservation and were seated promptly. I decided to have the Peppermint Patty martini which was so tasty. It was garnished with an actual peppermint patty which made for a nice finish. For my entrée, I had the chicken parm, which is mostly chicken and cheese with angel hair pasta underneath the chicken. As the server said, it's enough pasta for each bite. No more than that so don't expect a big pile of pasta. That said, the meal was delicious. The chicken was flavorful with a nice crunch, the red sauce was bold and tangy, and the pasta paired well. By the way, there is complimentary bread with oil/balsamic vinegar. I think it's a great place to have cocktails at the bar, catch up with friends over a nice dinner, or to take a nice date. Feel free to dress for the occasion (we were pretty dressy) because the ambiance calls for that. I loved the experience and I will be back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance had the Perfect setting. It felt like I was in New York in an Italian restaurant. From the lighting, the style of furniture, the pictures, and the music gave the right mixture of New York City in Memphis.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started off with the appetizer Ravioli. Again, if your not use to authentic Italian cuisine, the food will be a disappointment. Reason being, they focus on authentic and traditional. I love cheese in ALL dishes. Their ravioli lacked cheese which made the ravioli dry. I ordered a dish that had stuff chicken breast. Per my liking, it was dry as well due to being stuffed and the overcooking. Breast are meant to juicy. However, the pasta and the mushrooms in this dish's was absolutely delicious and favorably.

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in its sun room with a neutral natural palette that I once indulged myself at the Rose Tavern in Canandaigua in Upstate New York. That nostalgic feeling of being in a beautiful tavern is pure delight. Absolutely beautiful restaurant, truly deserves limelight recognition in Germantown. Our darling Annalise server was extremely friendly. We loved the presentation of our dinner, but the octopus was a bit soft for our taste. I've had plenty of octopus in other cities and understand the dish is typically more expensive, but a small single mediocre tentacle is quite pricey for $28. I personally prefer a crispy and firmer chew for octopus. The scallops and shishito peppers were a delightful pairing. Valet parking shouldn't be forced upon the customer though? I felt bad that I don't carry cash to tip the valet, and valet is mandatory unless you want to park on the side streets and walk over. Do carry any cash! I wish that a portion of the parking lot was open for self parking though as those boys don't need to help out every guest who don't need valet and subjecting them to wait around for the boys to grab cars that we're perfectly capable of doing ourselves.

The musicians were incredibly talented, keeping the crowd engaged with an outstanding mix of music that had people singing along, dancing, and simply enjoying the moment. Whether you're there for a date night, hanging out with friends, or just looking to unwind after a long week, the vibe makes it easy to settle in and enjoy yourself. I ordered the Long Island Iced Tea, and it did not disappoint. It was well-balanced, smooth, and packed just enough punch without tasting overly sweet or overly strong. A quality cocktail that complemented the evening perfectly. Although I didn't try the food on this visit, the live entertainment, lively crowd, and excellent drinks were more than enough to make it a memorable night. If you appreciate live bands, a fun atmosphere, and well-crafted cocktails, Neil's Music Room is definitely worth adding to your list. I'll certainly be back to enjoy another show--and next time, I'll be trying the food.

Time to update…read more... I am breaking up with you for good if this keeps happening, Neil. I try to be cool with the Fat Man, who rocks, but it's getting increasingly more difficult. You don't even speak to me any more. Hobbling around like "The Penguin" and shit, all sully and frank. This time he is sitting with the old guy group by the bar. A guy says he's not paying for his burger because it is too small for the money. Neil tells to the bar lady "you tell them to save that burger and the next one comes in, use it!" Gross. This also leads me to believe my food was leftover from last week. More on that in just a bit... The place is just flat nasty in the front. Grease, dust, dirt, and grime. I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like. The only reason I still come here is to reminisce about my Dad. He and his friends loved this place. They have a chicken liver lunch special on Wednesdays that we used to hit up together. I have always loved the burger here although it's been years since I had it. Never will again bow. Service is usually ok as there are more mature type folk working here for the most part. The bartender lady with the spiked blonde hair is nice in her own way. Not the case this last time though. I had a newbie server it seemed. My last visit sucked really bad. My last three visits before that, sucked moderately bad. I can take the moderate piece, but won't stand the shit I got last time. I get the same thing every time these days. Fried chicken livers with white beans, corn, and cornbread. This is one of the lunch specials on Wednesday. They only have the livers once a week. The beans are served once a week, and the corn is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Why do I mention this? When I came last time, the veggies I was served were leftover from being cooked before. No doubt about this. No way they weren't. It was 11:45 so there is no way it say out long enough to get this old. So, I do believe that I was served last week's leftovers. To add to insult, they were cold. The livers and the butter were the only things hot. Look at the pic from this last visit and look at the history of my plates here. You can watch the quality degrade. I would have complained had the new girl given a shit enough to ask how I liked the food I had one bite of. She just walked up and asked if I was ready to pay. I was ready to leave, that's for sure. Left everything but the livers. You have exactly one more chance Neil... '26 - 78
