He was so nice and cordial. He checked on us from time to time. We started off with the honey whipped feta dip. It was very good. We also ordered the poke nachos. It was delicious! The chips were so crunchy and warm. For dinner I ordered the pistachio encrusted salmon on a Greek salad. My friends both ordered the short ribs. All of our food was very tasty! No complaints on any of our entrees. For dessert we ordered the peanut butter bread pudding. It tasted amazing! It was very moist and flavorful. Tried this place out on a Saturday night with a bar top reservation. Service was excellent and the appetizers were yummy. There are two huge TVs in the bar and we watched World Cup soccer. Nice relaxed atmosphere without feeling pretentious. We will be back! read more

We had a first date here at 5 pm, called ahead and was sat immediately at 5 pm. Service was great and everyone was very professional and nice. Happy hour was until 6 pm so got a well made $10 old fashioned. Environment was relaxed, proper, and cozy for dinner and the bar area. Great spot for a date night. The honey Feta appetizer was great and unique, can feed 2-4. The entrees were delicious, salmon plate and the catch of the day; both were cooked wonderfully. I had a whiskey sour with my entree. This was our first time dining at Belle Meade Social and the experience was great. There was ample amount of parking. The vibe was low lit lightening great for dinner with your boo or a great spot for a family/friend dinner. The seating was plenty and the openness of the restaurant felt inviting. They do offer patio seating but the hostess mentioned it was not opened yet. However if seated in the dining area you didn't feel like you were close to another party. Our server Taylor was great and the food was flavorful with many options to please carnivores, pescatarians or vegans. Also note, this restaurant requires a 20% gratuity on all checks. Friendly greeting, seated promptly. Server, Madison, was friendly and professional and knew her menu. The dining room is spacious but a tends to be loud even without a crowd. The food was a little slow to come out after starter and drinks. Food was well prepared and the presentation is well done. Portions are large so if you want desert skip the starter. read more

Never a big fan of mandatory gratuity surprises that come at the end of the meal. They charge 20% mandatory gratuity to all tables regardless of their size (there was two of us). Food was okay. The place itself is beautiful inside and the staff is pleasant. Would not go back personally. read more

I read an article about the owners and first, they are my age (what am I doing with my life? ) and they have some history in the restaurant business....which I could tell! The service was nice! I ordered a $8 La marca Prosecco! Happy hour ends at 6pm, FYI. For dinner I ordered the filet with garlic mashed potatoes. I was very happy with it! Well seasoned and cooked. Unfortunately, our experience at Belle Meade Social was disappointing. Our server, Alex, lacked basic people skills and was far from welcoming. From the moment we arrived, he made the seating arrangements unnecessarily difficult and was unapologetically dry rude. While the food overall was decent, the burgers were completely unseasoned, which added to the frustration. We chose not to escalate the situation as it was my husband's birthday lunch, but the negative tone Alex set early on truly impacted the entire experience. I went here for brunch with a girlfriend and it was perfect for the occasion! The decor is moody and upscale, but I didn't find the prices to be too expensive. Also, the portions of food are huge! My friend and I both got sandwiches and only ate half of the plate. Their regular fries are incredible. I know that's not a fancy choice for Belle Meade, but they're delicious. I will definitely have to go back to give this place another try. The service was fantastic and attentive. Reservations are recommended but not required. The bar area was packed! Drinks were delicious and bartenders were kicking butt! Now the downfall, the food. We started with the tuna tower which was probably the best thing we got, but for $18 there was definitely not enough tuna. We got the lamb lollipops and the fig pizza for our entree. The lamb was over cooked and extremely small. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The pizza was so sweet it was almost inedible. Went for Happy Hour one night. Place was not busy at all. Nice ambiance and choice of draft beers for $6.00 were pretty good - not your typical Ultra or Budweiser but Fireside. Ordered the spinach dip and pizza -- both took over 1 hour to come to us -- let me repeat OVER 1 hour!! Dip was decent - pizza terrible. Said they forgot to turn pizza oven on - probably why crust was barely cooked. Service - bartenders not attentive at all for it not to be very busy. Maybe thought we were not going to be good tippers ? I don't know ...but we end up tipping over 20% of the check even though service was lackluster and food took so long to come out. This is such a great restaurant, not only because the food is delicious and the ambiance is sophisticated, but the service is also top notch. I have Celiac disease and people in Memphis are not always familiar with what that is or the precautions I have to take. But I have gone here multiple times and the server Paul is fantastic (management give him a raise!) at handling my requests. I have been wanting to try Belle Meade Social for a while and finally had the opportunity after seeing A Christmas Carol at Theatre Memphis. As my wife and I went to the early show we arrived at Belle Meade a little after 5:00pm and sat at the bar. Only a few people at the bar then so we were served pretty quickly. However, within an hour the bar was full and we were virtually ignored from the point forward. It seems if you are not a regular then you get minimal attention at best. I had the Steak and Noodle salad which was heavy on the noodle and way too light on the steak. My wife had the Fig & Pig pizza which was good sized and good enough flavor.
