    Social Hour menu

I've sat at the bar here twice for social hour. The bartenders are nice and attentive. 20% gratuity is automatically added to all checks. Food was really good. One day I'll be back to check out the main dining area.

This was our first time dining at Belle Meade Social and the experience was great. There was ample amount of parking. The vibe was low lit lightening great for dinner with your boo or a great spot for a family/friend dinner. The seating was plenty and the openness of the restaurant felt inviting. They do offer patio seating but the hostess mentioned it was not opened yet. However if seated in the dining area you didn't feel like you were close to another party. Our server Taylor was great and the food was flavorful with many options to please carnivores, pescatarians or vegans. Also note, this restaurant requires a 20% gratuity on all checks. Other than that we plan to return.

Pics are some of the items we tried. I will say, the Poke Nachos and brussels were very good and I'd order again. Everything else lacked flavor, creativity, skill, effort. Not pictured was lamb chops, seafood pasta and braised beef short rib. Not a single person in our party enjoyed their meal. I will say this...restaurant vibe is awesome. Bar is awesome. Expand your apps and shorten your entrees. Lean into what you are, a cocktail bar. Doubt I'll come back for anything but drinks.

The happy hour menu is definitely shareable and social. I read an article about the owners and first, they are my age (what am I doing with my life? ) and they have some history in the restaurant business....which I could tell! The service was nice! (I love being acknowledged at the door and as soon as I sit down. I'm the person that will stare wierdly until you catch eye contact with me.) I'm a comfort eater and this was a comfort eating evening so I ordered a lot for one person but EVERYTHING is shareable. (I made like 4 meals out of my leftovers .) What I ordered: - Spinach Dip - Naan Personal Pizza (*rotating special) - Elderflower Old Fashioned

    Sweet potato fries

I went to dinner here with my colleagues the other night. We were a little late because we were helping set up an event but we caught the last few minutes of happy hour! I ordered a $8 La marca Prosecco! Happy hour ends at 6pm, FYI. For dinner I ordered the filet with garlic mashed potatoes. I was very happy with it! Well seasoned and cooked. My friends and I also split the sweet potato fries and omggggggg it was so memorable and I'll probably compare all of the sweet potato fries I'll ever have to these. The table ordered truffle fries and spinach dip as well and I tasted a bit of those and they were also good! The restaurant is very cute and well melts and decorated. The service is good and all was very clean. The staff is so nice and cheerful. I also loved the art in the women's bathroom!

I went here for brunch with a girlfriend and it was perfect for the occasion! The decor is moody and upscale, but I didn't find the prices to be too expensive. Also, the portions of food are huge! My friend and I both got sandwiches and only ate half of the plate. Their regular fries are incredible. I know that's not a fancy choice for Belle Meade, but they're delicious. I highly recommend coming for a cocktail and a meal!

I will definitely have to go back to give this place another try. The service was fantastic and attentive. Reservations are recommended but not required. The bar area was packed! Drinks were delicious and bartenders were kicking butt! Now the downfall, the food. We started with the tuna tower which was probably the best thing we got, but for $18 there was definitely not enough tuna. We got the lamb lollipops and the fig pizza for our entree. The lamb was over cooked and extremely small. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The pizza was so sweet it was almost inedible. I wouldn't recommend the food that we got, but they have a large menu and I will definitely need to try them again.

So went to this restaurant tonight before heading to theater Memphis. I really like this place. The atmosphere is great it's fancy but casual. You can dress up or come as you are. Kinda like Sunday church! had the crab cakes for the starter and they were amazing. We opted to get the scallops with mushroom risotto for the entree. They have gotten our food out in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend.

Went for Happy Hour one night. Place was not busy at all. Nice ambiance and choice of draft beers for $6.00 were pretty good - not your typical Ultra or Budweiser but Fireside. Ordered the spinach dip and pizza -- both took over 1 hour to come to us -- let me repeat OVER 1 hour!! Dip was decent - pizza terrible. Said they forgot to turn pizza oven on - probably why crust was barely cooked. Service - bartenders not attentive at all for it not to be very busy. Maybe thought we were not going to be good tippers ? I don't know ...but we end up tipping over 20% of the check even though service was lackluster and food took so long to come out. Hope this review helps management and bartenders to make some adjustments.

Great classy spot for a date night! We got the tuna stack appetizer which was fresh and tasty! The short rib and burger was great also and definitely will be back! Service was phenomenal as well!

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

I wish I had gotten his name (we actually dined over 3 months ago and I'm just getting to this review!). He seemed to have been busy, but never let it affect his performance. Now on to the food. My goodness, it was delicious and I have been craving to go back. First off, I appreciate that they are a kid friendly place. I understand not every place has to be, but when a place offers something for kids, it just makes the dining experience even better for me. They were out of the kids cheese pizza, but our waiter did a cheese flatbread for my son. I mean, that alone was good, but my entree was the best! I had the basil pesto tortellini. All the flavors came together perfectly in it. Highly recommend! My husband got the bbq chicken flatbread, one of the best flatbreads we've had. Seriously! As an appetizer, we got the baked spinach dip. It had so much flavor and pairing it with those house made tortilla chips were just the extra it needed. The only thing that was disappointing was the tiramisu. We have had better. The espresso flavor just wasn't enough for my liking. We'll be back for sure! Maybe a date night for dinner.

Moody lighting, low rumble of noise and music you enjoy but don't notice. My kinda place. Rye was our server and she was excellent. Not only top-notch recommendations but also let us know about the tasting menu- I can't wait to come back to try the off-menu one they do the last Wednesday of every month. We got raw oysters to start and chose the seasonal preparation. It was almost like frozen lemonade crème fresh, but with the brine of the oysters it just worked. Would def order again! We started with a whiskey sour and AM old fashioned. Both great but mine was so good my husband ordered another round of them for us before we got a bottle of red. I don't recall what bottle it was but it worked perfectly as it wasn't too heavy and swung easily from apps/pasta/entrees. Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine. We also ordered a little affogato and it was perfect to finish the meal. I will absolutely be back and look forward to trying their other restaurants in the near future!!!
