All hours of the day from just around 4 pm until midnight hour this place is "happiest of all!" They play so many live bands here! It's insane! Now many times we tried to get a seat but no luck! This is the place. It's always packed and the individuals that come here eating are always dressed up. This is not a problem but it's not a night club. It's a well organized eatery that sponsors the local individuals that play music. They play for the community of Memphis! Now they have food and a full bar. You can dine inside and enjoy patio seating too. This place always busy! So make a reservation. The bar is always packed too! The food is delicious. Drinks and dessert a must. Parking is available on the street or blocks away . It's first come and first serve . We loved the concept of allowing people to play the blues for the community. They have a lot of special needs that are met and charity drives for donations from the public when they perform here. Whenever you're in the area make sure and check it out. Though I am often in the area, I have not noticed this restaurant until now. I was invited for a birthday party. Food: 5/10 I had the chicken and waffles($18). The portion size was nice. However, the waffles were tough and the chicken didn't have much of a taste. Other tables were sending the lamb chops back to the kitchen but I'm not sure why. Everyone at my table who ordered the shrimp and grits loved them and the catfish that was on top. Vibe: 10/10 The Soul 7 band was on point! The bartender played the tambourine. Also, there is a big waiting area because it's attached to a hotel. Customer Service: 2/10 We had a party of 12 and our server advised that she was over whelmed and we didn't place our orders until 30ish minutes of sitting and it took over an hour to get the food or a refill. The hostess (Andrea) assisted us with refills and she had a positive attitude. Large parties need more than 1 server. Cleanliness/Decor: 10/10 The restaurant was on point and restroom was fancy! The decor was cute and there were sanitary napkins of different kinds available for free! The patio is a nice area but it needs a fan. The inside is small. So, get there early for your seat. I visited here since I stayed at the hotel and upon checking in I saw their sign on the sidewalk indicating they have a happy hour from 2-7pm. It was 3pm and I needed to kill a few hours. Their HH consists of $10 long islands, $8 lemon drops, $6 drafts, and $5 well shots/calls. I went with a long island which was pretty standard I'd say. Once I finished that, I ordered a rum and coke, but of course it was a discounted hh drink, so nothing special there. Overall, this turned out to be a popular spot and when the weather is nice they open the sliding windows. They also have live music a few nights as week and although I didn't stay, when I was going out a few hours later I noticed this place was bumping with like 150 people surrounding the singer on the patio. I stopped by on a Thursday evening before a concert at the FedExForum, and this place was the perfect pregame spot! I parked in the Gossett Motors Garage and took a quick Uber over to Greyhound--only about a 6-minute ride and $7. Just a heads up, Greyhound only has street parking, but it's conveniently located on the corner right across from the baseball stadium, near The Peabody and DoubleTree. As soon as I pulled up, I could hear music coming from the patio--the vibes were already set! I got there around 5:30 PM and was able to grab a seat at the bar. Sean, the bartender, immediately greeted me and took great care of me all night. He had such a fun personality--definitely kept the experience entertaining. I ordered a French 75, and he jokingly pretended not to know what it was before turning around and making it perfectly right in front of me. The drink came out quickly and was so good! The menu had a great variety, and although it was happy hour, I couldn't pass up the catfish plate (because catfish always wins!). I ordered it with collard greens and fries. The food took about 30 minutes, which was totally fine given the lively atmosphere. A DJ started spinning old-school hip-hop, and the energy in the place really picked up--people were dancing, and it felt like the perfect lead-in to a concert night. When my food arrived, it was hot and fresh. The catfish was fried to perfection, crispy and flavorful. The collard greens were chef's kiss--perfectly seasoned and clearly cooked with some meat. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the hush puppies? So good I only left one on the plate! Overall, the food exceeded my expectations, the service was great, and the vibe was everything. I went on a Saturday evening at 6p to enjoy live music and food. The place was packed with a group of fraternity brothers and otherd so it was a bit chaotic as the wait staff was pulled all over the place so it took longer than normal to get seated and served. We heard the food was good especially the collard greens and mac & cheese. We were decieved. My friend had them both and returned them both. Mac & cheese was bland and greens were under cooked. The salmon was good as was the loaded nachos with chicken. Another friend has wings and again, basic. Everything seemed processed and not cooked to order. However before we were served a food runner brought fries that were hot and good! The DJ was good also and being right across from Auto Zone stadium in downtow foot traffic made for a lively bussling good vibe. I was at this establishment on 7-26-2026, Sunday afternoon. I had looked on their menu on line and decided what I wanted to order. It had a weekend Brunch Menu listed. Didn't specify which days of the weekend. When getting there, was told this is now for Saturday only. Very disappointed . Was handed a Dinner Menu for12:30 afternoon. Nothing on it I desired. When receiving my food, Very Small portions of food for the price. The Collar Greens was not good, the Loaded Potatoes was horrible. Our Server was all over the place. Did a poor job. According to there Meau and advertising they automatically add 20% to your Bill. After voicing my concerns about what I was charged, verse price on menu for meal. Than server said there was an upcharge for my Loaded potatoes. I asked my Sever before choosing my sides, were all sides included in the price. She said yes. Did not explain an update of any sides, this was not mentioned on there Menu either. That's why I ask the question. The Server and I had words about this. She later came back with my charge card and bill and threw them both back to me and mumbled something, before I could ask a question she walked off. I voice my concerns about this interaction, only to be informed this establishment didn't have a manager at this time. The prior manager had quit. The owner of this establishment had taken off that day. That the website needed to be updated. That particular server, had gotten several complaints that day. So this bar is attached to the hotel we're staying at, but it's a difficult bar to buy a cocktail from. They had difficult hours. I had to promise to return the glass to them so that they would allow me to take my cocktail to my room. The bartenders weren't as accomplished as at other locations. They did not instill confidence that they knew how to make a basic cocktail like an old-fashioned. Would I buy a cocktail there again? Probably, but my expectations would be very low. I literally wasted over 60 bucks in this place. 1st o walked in sat at the bar and the bartender ignored me for at least 10 minutes, mind you I was the only person at the bar. 2nd: 2 other ladies walked in after me and their food order was taken before mine. We came last Saturday and sat at the bar. I had the Greyhound Station cocktail and I loved it so much I tried to recreate it at a party the next day. The white bean and beet hummus were also so great. We came again this Saturday because we had such a good experience last Saturday. The bar was full so we sat at a table. I got the Greyhound Station again and my boyfriend ordered a very _dry_ martini. When our drinks finally came out, mine was cloyingly sweet, wayyyy too much syrup, and a half-dead spring of rosemary in that fell apart and got stuck in my straw. My boyfriend got a very _dirty_ martini. Such a bummer. We'll chalk it up to how new the place is and try again later. We hope they'll work out the kinks soon! read more

This is probably one of the worst places to take a group to eat and drink at. We had a group of 13 people on a Tuesday night and the drinks took 40 mins to come out and the food took an hour and 45 mins to come out. The food didn't come out at once so everyone was eating at different times. The restaurant doesn't split up the checks so they can add a 22% tip on to the bill.... The wine on the menu reads $8 dollars but they charge you $10 because "it's wrong on the menu" Do not waste your time or money here. Much better places downtown. read more

We were excited to try The Greyhound , as we actually have greyhounds. We weren't greeted, no biggie, that's happened before. We went in at 6:30pm on Tuesday the 15th, not busy at all, I mention this because I hope the owner/manager can retrain their employee. We sat down and waited but no acknowledgement from the man behind the bar. He did several things avoiding eye contact at all times. A woman sat next to and was served immediately and left. Then another couple came in and were greeted. I then spoke up and asked if he could see a drink menu. He said of course and handed drink menus to the couple that had just sat next to us. The "bartender " then turned his back to us and played with his cell phone. Just so I make it clear my husband and I were not loud or rude, we are pretty tame.
