Wow!! This place is incredible. The double fried wings are next level. The French fries were delicious. One of the best beer selections in the bluff. A must stop lunch spot in Memphis! Lunch times on Saturday gets crowded but swing by 11:30 or so for a solid meal. The "Sam I Am", Reuben and club can't be beat. A friend and I went and tried Young Avenue Deli on October 9, 2023. Once you walk in you seat whatever you want. Our server came to us very quickly. Luckily the food didn't take long to be ready. I decided to get the Sam I Am sandwich and Mozzarella Sticks. For both the items it was ok nothing too special. For the Mozzarella Sticks I just feel like something was missing to make it really good. The atmosphere is always a bit noisy. It is the upbeat noisy lull so not bad at all. I went a few weeks ago on a Friday night and they had great music. It truly was a very fun experience and I highly recommend. The Yankee sandwich today was very delicious. Half of it is big enough to fill you up. It's my new favorite. The onion rings were huge and we were so excited about them. Unfortunately for us the breading is too thick and although some appears crunchy it's not really. This may be the breading for you. Came here for lunch. Good atmosphere, good vibe. I ordered the Sam I Am, which was wrapped in a pita wrap. It was decent. It was tasty, but it didn't really impress me a whole lot. The wrap was no doubt on the smaller side, which was underwhelming. However, the side of pimento cheese fries saved the day. I could tell the fries were freshly cut, and the melted pimento cheese and ranch dip were great - good portions on this side dish too. Great draft beer selection. I got the chance to visit this very cute bar and grill in the heart of midtown I started with the very cheesy and well battered Mozzarella sticks with a couple shots of Jameison and ended with this nice big ass juicy burger with a side of fries.
