Great food! The area was small and intimate with some ambient lighting. The service was great, the server was very quick (I unfortunately did not get her name) but she was very attentive and friendly. The portion I got (I ordered a starter as an entree) was great! It was yummy and very well made. Would come again

Went for Saturday dinner. We were immediately seated at a high top table. Served came right over for our drink order. I had a lemon drop and my husband had a margarita and an old fashioned. Drinks were decent. Husband had a redfish po boy and sweet potato tots. I had wings tossed in mild sauce. The food was hot and fresh and tasty. We stayed chatting a while watching tv and enjoying the environment. One of our local favorites.

This place is pretty good. I have wanted to come try this place for a while but I never had an opportunity so when my friend said her kids wanted burgers I suggested this place. They have a small kids menu that her kids were able to pick from. In general, it's your standard American food. They did have a unique menu item, the Macaroni and Cheese Eggrolls, but I'll have to try that next time if I end up here again. They have their main menu and a special Lunch Menu with items not on the main menu. I would love to try their taco bowls but I was in the mood to try a sandwich. It's from the lunch menu but I don't know that I'll be back during lunch or not so oh well. My friend got the Shrimp & Grits which she loved. They do it a unique way here in that the grits are actually molded into bread slices and cooked like that. It was a pretty neat thing but I wasn't fond of the flavor of the meal. I'm glad my friend liked it though! I got the Skybox Philly Chicken which comes with queso cheese. It was really tasty! Hubby and I have been looking for a good philly. I'd be willing to bring him here to try the steak one and see if he likes the chicken one. I am willing to come back and try some more things- quite a few things piqued my husband's interest. So we are always willing to try again. They had their milkshakes on sale so I ordered a small one. I almost ordered a strawberry and peanut butter one because I missed the comma in there but the waitress was super down to do that for me. Luckily I realized my mistake and just got the peanut butter one lol. It was delicious! I also liked my Philly Pasta La Vista but at the same time didn't. It had good seasoning but it just wasn't strong enough and I assume it just didn't work with the pasta as well as I'd like it to. I'd def be willing to come back and try their Philly Sandwich (they have a few variations). Hubby wasn't a fan of his burger and I realized after I tried it that it was very sweet which he hates. So he said he'd definitely not get that one again. I liked it but I agreed it was unusually sweet. The biggest problem for me is the serving sizes. They were just smaller than I expected. My husband's burger was mostly bun. He in fact ripped off chunks of his bun to have a better ratio of bun to meat. He noticed other burgers looked the same so he is not sure he'd get another burger. TLDR: Lots of promising items so willing to try again but serving sizes were small and food was just ok To Try: Shake: monster cookie? We came in to taste the local flair while on an Ole Miss college tour. The wait was lengthy however you could still stand at the bar and have a drink while you waited. We ordered a round of beers and checked out the place and the people. The bartenders were very nice, a lot of southern hospitality in this town. We were finally seated and ordered a seafood platter and a few orders of seafood gumbo. The gumbo was absolutely delicious. Shrimp that tasted amazing and sausage with great flavor. Rice cooked perfectly and overall a great dish. The seafood platter in my opinion, not worth the money. It was okay, but nothing spectacular. Coming from vegas the bar is set high on dining out as we have the best of the best in our city when it comes to places to eat. While this was a fun place to hang, it's expensive for a college town. The ahi tuna nachos at this place are absolutely amazing and a must try. Best thing I ate there. A ton of Ahi and a huge portion. There was more ahi than chips. Clean place, fair service at the tables, waitress delivered 4 entrees and saint bring the 11 year olds dinner. He sat for 15 minutes and I had to hunt her down to ask where the kids food was. Serve everyone at the same time, it's rude not to. This was a big annoyance for me as the child sits with no food while everyone else is eating for 15-20 minutes.

We arrived at 4:15 PM and were the only table in the restaurant, yet service was unbelievably slow from the start. It took over ten minutes just to receive drinks. Shortly after, another table was seated and the server suddenly spent a remarkable time at that table (roughly ten minutes?) and then she took their order first. After waiting about 30 minutes, our food finally arrived and it was completely unacceptable. Everything was cold, greasy, and nothing about it resembled authentic Cajun cuisine. The crawfish tails were clearly microwaved and served on a bland bed of rice. The children's mac and cheese was especially bad--dry, unappetizing, and obviously had been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. My boyfriend had his dish to the side, untouched and was trying to get anyone's attention to come by. The server did not return for another 15 minutes to check on the food. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with a manager/owner, they refused to come to the table. Instead, we were told, "The manager said to just remove it from your bill." That level of disregard for customers is incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I honestly don't understand how they expect to stay open. A service industry business that you refuse to treat seriously? Ridiculous. The service throughout the entire visit was just as poor. Our server was rude, inattentive, and spent most of the time avoiding tables, either hiding behind the kitchen door or standing at the server station. We ultimately had to get up ourselves just to pay. Overall, the experience was frustrating from beginning to end. Between the poor service, low-quality food, and lack of management accountability, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If I could give it zero stars I would.
