Food was delicious. I had the smash burger slider and they were so good and my girlfriend had the lamb chops and they were so juicy. Our server was was amazing she even gave us some recommendations. Great place overall!

Food Review for Serv Restaurant The service was great and the ambiance set the perfect vibe. The food? Next level! The mac & cheese was creamy and seasoned to perfection, the greens tasted like they were sent straight from heaven, and the fish--so good it didn't even need a sidekick. And let's not forget the cornbread... just chef's kiss. Our waitress made sure everything was spot-on. Now, all that's left is a good movie and an afternoon nap to finish off my Sunday.

Chicken tacos were delicious at a great price.

Taco Tuesday had great tacos. The bar service was sort of inattentive. We had to beckon for service at the bar, rather than be checked upon throughout our time. A pet peeve of mine when I'm dining includes my needs/wants being met. Servers should check in with guests within a certain amount of time throughout their dining experience.

Good vibe and ambience. Glad we choose brunch .. we beat the crowd. I ordered chicken wings and had to try catfish fried perfectly and seasoned well. My friend had a good variety and were pleased. We took selfie at the decoration wall. Music was great.....Cuda been a tad bit lower but overall I would definitely go back.

Therapeutic Thursday visit: We enjoyed the happy hour specials for National Margarita Day. The passion fruit margarita was pretty good. The lemon pepper wings were perfect. There is a live DJ as well who keeps the crowd engaged with a mix of old and new school songs. The strawberry lemon drop was a good choice. 4.5/5 I would visit again on a Thursday

    Our group Golden Sistas

I had lunch with a group of 12 friends at SERV on Wednesday Oct 22nd. We were celebrating two Birthdays. The food was made to order, it was hot delicious and looked very appetizing. Our server Nancy did an excellent job serving our group she didn't miss a beat and took all our orders from memory. She didn't write down a single order and got all our separate checks right. I highly recommend this black owned restaurant. The decor was beautiful and the location was in a safe shopping center. I only wished that our group could have all set together. They had large booths but they could not accommodate 12 people. Reservations were not necessary for our large group they said we could walk in and be taken care of and they were rights

This place is super cute and the food is good! We did the Saturday brunch, arriving around 3:30 ish. FYI- I would recommend coming around noon- they have drinks, food and hookah at a discounted rate. Our serve was amazing- I wish I knew her name but she wore a platinum blonde wig. She was friendly, attentive, and on-point. We got a hookah to enjoy. I thought it was weird that someone came to our table - (15 mins after receiving the hookah) asking for payment . So I don't know if the hookahs are supplied by an outside vendor or what but It was a strange experience (maybe this is a norm for Memphis- I'm from the DC area and never experienced this). Anyways, the food here is good. I'm not a chicken & waffle type of chick but it was good. I also got the surf & turf egg rolls. It weren't bad but I don't recall tasting anything except the crawfish but I would definitely get them again. They offer a day party vibe. I believe it gets super crowded here. When we got there a lot of people were heading and the kitchen was closing for 40 mins to switch over to the dinner menu.

    Mini waffle and Cajun Chicken
    April O.

Came on a Saturday for brunch. Atmosphere- A vibe Came here with a group of people and no one was disappointed which speaks volume. I had the mini waffles and Cajun chicken with side of potatoes. I wish the potatoes had green/red peppers in it but they were still good. My cousin had the same but with a side of eggs. She asked for them hard and with cheese. They delivered. Now let's get into this Hawaiian lamp chops they had. When I tell you my cousin was quiet until her food was gone. They reached in and touched her soul - had to, to get her not to talk. We did the mimosa flight with a side of Malibu Rum for drinks. One cousin had the drunken bowl he didn't give me a chance to take a picture before he demolished it. Last cousin had the catfish and greens. Baby, she was NOT sharing any of it so I could tell you how it tasted. I can tell you, she would have licked the bowl of greens if we would have let her. Now let's get into the cheesecake (can't eat out without dessert). BABY!!!! You betta order it and thank me later. The DJ made sure we enjoyed ourselves and gave us room to line dance. He creates and controlled the vibe!!! Looking forward to coming back.

I was really looking forward to this visit since I haven't been here in years, but unfortunately,…read morethe experience fell short in several areas. I ordered the shrimp tossed in chili teriyaki sauce, as listed on the menu. The shrimp were fried extremely hard and arrived cold. Instead of being properly tossed in sauce, there was only a minimal drizzle on a few pieces, which made the dish feel incomplete and not as described. The catfish nuggets and fries were just okay--again, both arrived cold, which seems to be a consistent issue with food temperature. The bar experience was also disappointing. The green tea shots were not made correctly, and the "double" shot of Jack Daniels was poured more like a single. In addition, the menu did not include any drink options or pricing. While the waiter mentioned they have a full bar, having a drink menu (even a basic one) would make ordering much easier and more enjoyable, especially for guests looking to try something new. Service-wise, the waiter was clearly overwhelmed and not very available, but when she did come to the table, she was very kind and pleasant. No complaints about her attitude--just a staffing or management issue. Overall, there's definitely potential here, but improvements are needed in food temperature, menu accuracy, and bar consistency to elevate the experience.

You don't even speak to me any more. Hobbling around like "The Penguin" and shit, all sully and frank. This time he is sitting with the old guy group by the bar. A guy says he's not paying for his burger because it is too small for the money. Neil tells to the bar lady "you tell them to save that burger and the next one comes in, use it!" Gross. This also leads me to believe my food was leftover from last week. More on that in just a bit... The place is just flat nasty in the front. Grease, dust, dirt, and grime. I would hate to see what the kitchen looks like. The only reason I still come here is to reminisce about my Dad. He and his friends loved this place. They have a chicken liver lunch special on Wednesdays that we used to hit up together. I have always loved the burger here although it's been years since I had it. Never will again bow. Service is usually ok as there are more mature type folk working here for the most part. The bartender lady with the spiked blonde hair is nice in her own way. Not the case this last time though. I had a newbie server it seemed. My last visit sucked really bad. My last three visits before that, sucked moderately bad. I can take the moderate piece, but won't stand the shit I got last time. I get the same thing every time these days. Fried chicken livers with white beans, corn, and cornbread. This is one of the lunch specials on Wednesday. They only have the livers once a week. The beans are served once a week, and the corn is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Why do I mention this? When I came last time, the veggies I was served were leftover from being cooked before. No doubt about this. No way they weren't. It was 11:45 so there is no way it say out long enough to get this old. So, I do believe that I was served last week's leftovers. To add to insult, they were cold. The livers and the butter were the only things hot. Look at the pic from this last visit and look at the history of my plates here. You can watch the quality degrade. I would have complained had the new girl given a shit enough to ask how I liked the food I had one bite of. She just walked up and asked if I was ready to pay. I was ready to leave, that's for sure. Left everything but the livers. You have exactly one more chance Neil... '26 - 78

Unfortunately, the food has been consistently underwhelming during my recent visits. I first ordered the lamb chops. They were not what I would consider traditional lamb chops and were surprisingly chewy and difficult to enjoy. I returned and decided to try the Irish Curry Chicken. It was, without exaggeration, one of the worst dishes I've had there. The menu described it as chicken thigh, but it was clearly chicken breast. The dish lacked basic seasoning and flavor. There was very little salt, umami, or curry flavor. The rice was wet, overcooked, and mushy. Overall, the entire meal tasted like something taken from a grocery store freezer section and reheated. At this point, I would recommend sticking to the fries and the burgers, which remain the strongest items on the menu.

We attended church in Memphis which ends at 12:30 and bc we live out of state, we had to find things to do for 3 1/2 hrs. We discovered when we arrived that they had opened up reservations an hour early after we booked. I wish that they had first informed those of us who had first reservations so that we could move ours up. We arrived about 20 minutes early expecting to wait until our 4:00 reservation but they seated us immediately. We ordered wedge and harvest salads for our first course and the oyster deviled eggs appetizer. Both salads were very good. I did think the egg were a little bland and I didn't taste the oyster on one of the 4 deviled eggs. The candied bacon topping is what made the eggs overall good. Otherwise l, without the candied topping it was bland. I ordered the pork chop with sweet potato casserole and Brussels sprouts. My dish was very good and enough for me to take more than half for leftovers. (This doesn't mean change the portion bc it's just right.) My husband ordered the fried chicken dish. It was a giant piece of chicken. Fried very nicely but the coating was not seasoned well, if at all, to me. However, he enjoyed his meal and that's what counts. He said the collard greens were absolutely delicious and the mac and cheese was very cheesy and good! He also took home most of his meal. We don't have big appetites so the portions are probably just right for the majority. I took home the lemon pie dessert. I was expecting more of a meringue taste based on the description but it wasn't, so I wouldn't order it again. We ordered the house wine and 1 of the specialty drinks. The staff were very professional and friendly. The manager (I assume) stopped by every table to check on us. The restaurant has very nice ambiance and the tables have a nice amount of distance between them. It looks well maintained and the bathrooms are clean. The price point isn't bad esp for the generous portions. We've eaten at this restaurant a couple of times before over the years, and I still recommend it.
