    Chicken Marsala ( lunch )
    Ken K.

This place has been around a long time but this was my first time eating her. We decided to try it for lunch. It was a late lunch and not too busy. Service was outstanding. Had a decent vibe and a nice bar area too, although not many at the bar at lunch. The food was very good. I had chicken Marsala and loved it. As my side that came with it I chose spaghetti and meat sauce. This was a huge side and I brought half of it home for later... and it was great The other meal we got was the lasagna , also very very good and a big portion ( not sure if the lunch portion is the same as dinner or smaller but also took half of that home for later. I'd def come back, especially because it's very close by... I wouldn't necessarily drive a long way to eat here , but only because there are several good Italian options. But you're in the area, this is a good choice. They also look like they make a lot of pizza, and I'll try that at some point

Despite its strip-mall location, the ambiance is lovely! Both service and food were exceptional, and portions were large. The lasagna exceeded the expectations of my lasagna connoisseur husband (if there is such a thing, he merits it), and the tiramisu was *chef's kiss.*

I am beyond excited to have finally tried Ciao Bella! Upon…read moreentering, it definitely feels fancy. I met my husband here for lunch. So he was wearing his suit. I was wearing my "mom clothes" and we had our toddler with us. Not once did I not feel welcomed though. Our waiter was super nice, very helpful with the menu options. I wish I had gotten his name (we actually dined over 3 months ago and I'm just getting to this review!). He seemed to have been busy, but never let it affect his performance. Now on to the food. My goodness, it was delicious and I have been craving to go back. First off, I appreciate that they are a kid friendly place. I understand not every place has to be, but when a place offers something for kids, it just makes the dining experience even better for me. They were out of the kids cheese pizza, but our waiter did a cheese flatbread for my son. I mean, that alone was good, but my entree was the best! I had the basil pesto tortellini. All the flavors came together perfectly in it. Highly recommend! My husband got the bbq chicken flatbread, one of the best flatbreads we've had. Seriously! As an appetizer, we got the baked spinach dip. It had so much flavor and pairing it with those house made tortilla chips were just the extra it needed. The only thing that was disappointing was the tiramisu. We have had better. The espresso flavor just wasn't enough for my liking. We'll be back for sure! Maybe a date night for dinner.

Recommend the BBQ Chicken pizza with a side of gouda cheese! If you are ever on death row, request this from Ciao Bella for your last earthly meal! You won't be disappointed, well maybe for previous choices but not for the last meal choice. Other notable mentions, peanut butter chocolate pie for desert and the calamari. Again try the calamari with the gouda cheese. Dining was very elegant and setting was romantic. Felt upper class by Monday, today. Compliments to the Chef and for management for fitting us into the schedule. Well done!

As an international traveling food critic and unbeknownst to the staff, the following is what I…read moreexperienced: - Staff were NOT welcoming nor personable. - Food quality has dropped significantly since my previous experience over eight years ago. The ownership must have changed. +/- Server Karen was doing her best to keep up, but management chose to only provide one waitress to handle a party of 30+. - Fried Ravioli Appetizer was worse than an overcooked & greasy Hot Pocket. - Italian Salad with wealthy, lettuce, and old ingredients. - Chicken Parmesan was so overcooked it was charred, dried out, and tough. The marinara sauce is terrible. The absolute worst meal I've had in a very long time. +/- Hamburger seemed to be the only thing that was palatable, but that was overcooked as well. Apparently, their Chef knows no other temperature for his/her dishes. - Terribly sad that the hamburgers is the best thing at any Italian restaurant! - This is clearly NOT an authentic Italian restaurant as it was before! It is now a pretend Italian restaurant within its final stages of its demise. If you are in the area DO NOT waste your time dining here!!!

We have friends from out of town and they wanted the BBQ pizza from Coletta's they've heard so much…read moreabout. We ordered the large BBQ pizza and a medium cheese, and boy were we horribly disappointed and embarrassed. The meat on the BBQ was old, and extremely dry with a nasty sauce of some kind on top, and the crust was soggy and not even cooked. The cheese wasn't any better. Again, the crust was raw and soggy with an extreme amount of grease on top. We soaked up the grease with paper towels hoping it would help, but nope it didn't. Between the three adults we couldn't eat more than three slices total. The remainder went in the trash. You'd expect better from a place that's been around as long as Coletta's has, but with food like this I'd think they're in jeopardy of surviving.
