I have been on the hunt for a good hot wing since I moved here nearly 5 years ago. I've gone to the crumpys, the wing kings, the podunk gas stations everyone recommended and while they were good they were not "Tommy writes a yelp review good". Now for the review: BONE IN BUFFALO WINGS. This is not the run of the mill franks hot sauce bath after the fryer type of wing - these wings are crafted by chicken gods. The sauce is so damn succulent - lick your finger buffalo. I'm talking blow your socks off good. Honestly there really isnt word to describe the flavor other than WOW. We got 3 pizzas and a Caesar salad. The pizzas were somewhat small and I feel they were decently overpriced but very good! If you feel like just going for something slightly more expensive yet good, I would go for it but I will say it cost us around 80 dollars for a Caesar salad and 3 regular pizzas. read more

My friend and I decided to try this place on May 19, 2024 after the original restaurant we were going to that day left us hanging in the waiting area. When we got here we were immediately serve and seated at our table. I ordered the Garlic My App for our appetizer and we both loved it. The Garlic bread and the tomato sauce they have are perfect together. For my main dish I gotten the Carnivore Pizza. It was pretty good, but some of the toppings on the pizza just keep sliding down. Best. Cheese. Fries. Ever. Seriously, we haven't found better cheese fries anywhere. The fries are big and seasoned perfectly. The bacon is super crispy and there is a lot of it. The dill ranch. Oh my goodness the dill ranch. The pizza is delicious, and they have a ton of specialty pizzas that are seriously amazing. They have nice selection of cocktails. Ok seriously what the hell happened to this place?! I remember really liking their food and service the first time I ate here. But We came here for dinner on a Friday night around 9pm and there were plenty of empty tables so we were seated right away. But the waitress took forever to come to our table. When she finally did we ordered some beer samples and that took another 20 mins or so. After we finally put our orders in we waited for almost an hour for our food to come out. Completely unacceptable especially when the whole restaurant was empty. At one point I asked the bartender to check on our food and she said we had only been waiting for 18 mins. Wow really?? Totally rude and just downright nasty attitude. They also added a 18% gratuity on our bills so no wonder they didn't care about providing basic level good customer service. I've eaten at Rock n Dough several times but have never reviewed. Normally I go to the Germantown location but I was in the 'Dova today and noticed they had one here. I wonder if it would be as good as the Germantown location ( consistency) .... It was! I got the Farmhouse salad for lunch. It's an outstanding salad , one of the best in town. More than 1 of the beers I inquired about were out of stock. We ordered sriracha tots, wings, a Greek Salad and a Rita Pizza. The tots were straight up gross and mushy in the middle. My husband said the wings were epic, and they really are quite large. The Greek Salad was good, but I never had one without banana peppers on it. The pizza was an enormous disappointment. While the crust was just the perfect crispness, everything about this pizza was bland, bland, bland, from the sauce to the crust. Honestly, the best part of the meal, for me, were the salad dressings, which appeared to be house made. One star each for the wings & the dressings, but not enough for us to return. read more

Now this is some delicious pizza! Crispy crust with a good amount of toppings. Got the pizza for 2 people and had a slice leftover. Cocktails were delicious, but a bit on the "light" side with the alcohol. None of their beers looked very good at the time, but I will definitely be trying them next time I go. read more

Nice bar restaurant with booth options as well. The restaurant can get a little loud at times due to the numerous tvs and people watching games, but that is typical of any bar type restaurant. Our server Cristia was great. She answered all our questions about the menu, checked on us multiple times to see if everything was ok and filled our drinks promptly. The bacon cheese fries are amazing and their homemade ranch is super tasty. Just an FYI - they will charge $1 if you ask for another side of ranch. The super freak was the perfect amount of sweet and spicy between the spicy sausage and the drizzled honey. I loved the addition of the Kalamata olives as well. Would definitely order it again. I have had pizza twice from here, but the second time I was not pleased. I ordered the BBQ chicken and it was just ok. I've had it before from Gtwn location and really liked it. This time the sauce to chicken ratio could have been better and perhaps not leaving it in the oven until the edges of the crust were burned would be great! I may give this location another try because I believe they can do better and I'll chose another pizza option next time around I went on a Saturday before the crowd and it was not crowded. This was a great visit. We went on a Wednesday around 430. It was only one other family dining in. We were immediately greeted and sat at a table! Service was great. Our waitress took our drink orders and promptly returned. We placed an appetizer order for the loaded fries! They were so good! Fresh and hot like i like my food!
