Great addition to Collierville that combines both a great dining selection and beers. The customer service is great and the overall atmosphere is kid-friendly.

Service was awesome and so friendly... Food was excellent and it is such a cute little place in Collierville to catch the game or a cold beer

Pickwick, pale ale and Chicago dog

The local beer was good. Chicago dog was tasty. Only reason I did not give this five stars is that the beer should've been served in my humble opinion, in a cold frosted beer mug. Not a warm glass.

Milk stout

I am guessing this is about my 8th visit. I've only eaten 3 times - smash burger and Germantown dog (twice). The food was very good as far as hotdogs and hamburgers go. I've tried most of the beers through flights and nothing disappoints. My favorites are the IPAs, lecile's milk stout and the brown ale. Unfortunately the brown ale was my absolute favorite, but it is no longer in the current available options. Fingers crossed they bring it back. It's the first thing I look for each time. Service has always been friendly! Two things that kept me from rating a 5. - food selection- while I understand the menu as is, I'd prefer more healthy options and food selections. While I love to have a couple beers a day, I can't eat hot dogs, hamburgers and fried chicken strips very often. It's hard to come here just for a beer if I am not going to eat (this leads into my second comment) - atmosphere - totally get the concept, and if my kids were in grade school or younger, I wouldn't be commenting on this.

Midtown

A Solid Mid-South Microbrewery Experience…read more The layout gives you two distinct vibes: a dark bar with moody, intermittent lighting that holds its own even in the daylight, or a bright, breezy outdoor patio. There's also a great horseshoe of seating centered around the wood-fire pizza oven if you want to watch the kitchen in action. The Flight Coming from the DC area, an 8-count flight for $16 feels like a steal. I went in thinking it was a 6-count, but I'm not complaining about the extra mileage. Here was the breakdown: - Famous Flaming Stone: Interesting technique using hot stones from the oven. Smooth and easy-drinking, but don't expect a "crisp" finish. - Isle of Skye Scottish Ale: Malty and dark. The vanilla hints in the aroma and the finish are exactly where they should be. - The Garrison (ESB): Not bitter at all and easy to drink, but lacks the "wow factor" to make it a standout. - Midtown Brown: This is a classic English nut brown ale. If you like dark beers, this delivers exactly what it is. Citra Brown: This was a DNF for me. I'm firmly Team Midtown Brown on this one. - Wee Heavy: A "bodied up" version of the Scottish Ale. This would be my preference over the Isle of Skye for the extra weight. - Boscos Noir IPA: As a fan of black IPAs, I enjoyed this. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely good. - Bombay IPA: A fantastic capstone. Even after a heavy flight, this was a solid, high-quality finish. The Food I ordered the Spicy Italian Pizza. The wood-fire crust is the winner here--it delivers a light char without being crunchy or burnt. It's structurally sound (no "flop and drop" with the toppings) and has a nice outer crispness while maintaining a soft bite. There is something unique about the dough that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but it was a pleasant surprise. Expect a bit of grease from the sausage and pepperoni, though it's more visual than a flavor issue. The hot peppers were arranged well and not overdone. The mushrooms did get a bit lost among the more overpowering ingredients, but overall, it's a solid "no regrets" bar pizza. The Service - Friendly and efficient across the board. Extra kudos to the food delivery guy--great energy. This isn't necessarily the pizza you'll run to tell all your friends about, but with the high-value flights and the great atmosphere, it's a dependable, high-quality local spot in the Square.

Downtown

A Perfect Birthday & Valentine's Weekend Dinner!…read more We visited Majestic Grille on Friday, February 13th, and wow--are we glad we found this gem! We're from out of town and decided to celebrate my birthday and Valentine's weekend in Memphis. Our original restaurant choices were fully booked (I'd been on waitlists for weeks!), so we canceled those plans and got a list of recommendations from a museum we visited earlier that day. That's when Majestic Grill caught my eye--just a few minutes from our downtown hotel. We called ahead to check availability since most places were packed for Valentine's weekend. A wonderful gentleman answered and assured us he could get us a table. When we arrived, we were seated immediately--such a pleasant surprise! From there, everything was exceptional. Our server, Macy, was FANTASTIC! My partner doesn't drink, and she offered to have a mocktail made for him, while I enjoyed the "Clover Club"--perfectly crafted and delicious. Great start! We shared the Charcuterie Board as an appetizer, and it was so good that we finished every bite. For our entrées, we both ordered the 16 oz ribeye--mine with a blue cheese crust and his with peppercorn. Both were cooked to absolute perfection, and the sides were just as amazing. The atmosphere was top-tier--the lighting and ambiance made the experience even more special. Coupled with outstanding service, this was truly a memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back--probably for every birthday going forward! Thank you, Majestic Grill, for making our weekend unforgettable!

I've gone to The Majestic Grille a number of times across the year (surprised I hadn't reviewed it…read moreby now) and one thing they are is consistent. It's just that it's consistently average. I love the ambiance and the vibe of the place; it's pretty neat how it used to be a theatre, and they have kept presence of that history in the place. Beyond that, there's very little that pushes me to really want to go to this place, while at the same time acknowledging that I don't find myself being negative if a friend or someone else picks here. The food is decent, the service is really hit or miss, and I've always found them to be quite slow ... so it just hits average for me. Not something I'm picking but not something I'm dreading if it is picked.
