I don't know what to think about this place. Midday, we almost didn't go in because it looked closed. And the two guys behind the counter, while nice, seemed a bit out of it (if ya know what I mean). We dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and found that brunch was the only option - but the brunch menu was fantastic! Avocado toast was topped with microgreens, bacon, and poached eggs and served with a side of grits. Grits were perfectly done, not drowned in cheese. Biscuits and gravy was so much more: fried potato hash (including greens, peppers, and onions) and scrambled eggs made it a super hearty meal. Beer selection was ample: about a dozen on tap, with several local selections: Wiseacre, Memphis Made, and High Cotton. Prices were reasonable and the space was clean and inviting. Hello fellow Yelpers! I've been away for a while, but I'm back!! So I was turned on to this new hipster joint in the industrial area. At first glance it looks a bit daunting, tucked into a hill. As you walk to the door the first thing you see thru a window to the right is the kitchen. Very clean and well organized. You're met at the door by one of the staff with a great smile and directed to a table. The libations ordered and brought to us in record time along with appetizers. Sorry, no pics (they were devoured instantly). The burgers were cooked perfectly. A very good experience at this restaurant all in all, good vibes, layed back atmosphere and good food. This spot is new to the Downtown area! The structure of it is so unique. When you walk up to it, you will be surprised to see what is on the inside. It is the coolest sports bar that I have seen. The patio/backyard area was the feature that really got me. It is a very eclectic area that has it's own separate bar that you can order from. On to the food, It was soooooo good! While visiting the Civil Rights Museum, upon leaving stopped to get a few turkey legs. Ordered 2 turkey bowls, Momma's Spinach and Auntie's Mac and Cheese bowls. Out of the two the mamas mac & cheese bowl was the best with Tennessee whiskey glaze. The spinach casserole bowl was a bit salty and quite a bit of spinach for my taste. The seasoned fries were very good. The business is large and clean. Not much business on a Tuesday, mid day so I was happy to see them open. They have tables for 4, but that is not ideal. + FOOD -most things I enjoy. Over the years the menu has changed themes. We had the 901 Turkey Leg and the Spinach Casserole. Both were good. The food could be served a little hotter. The temperature of the turkey leg wasn't to my liking. This is a cool spot to hang out though. They have a pretty nice bar area on the inside and lots of outdoor seating. You can walk up the steps and enjoy the field area. This restaurant has helped to change the fabric of Memphis dining in this part of the downtown area. You park on the street along an industrial strip. When you walk inside, you will see an open and active setting. Tables wrap around the edge of the silo-shaped restaurant with a large circular bar that allows for great people watching. The brunch menu had something for everyone at our table. I got the short rib hash. It was delicious and super filling - like I could make four meals out of my one order. The ambiance is amazing and when the weather warms up a little, the outdoor seating area is going to be an incredible hang out spot! The staff is super pleasant and attentive. My niece from out of town and I visited the watershed. I thought it would be a good place for an afternoon snack for a minor. We were greeted right away and received our drinks promptly. We found some good seats in the shade and received our food in a timely manner. I ordered the pimento cheese for sharing with my niece and she got the burger. I enjoyed the pimento cheese which had a good texture and zing. The accompanying chips were tasty too. She enjoyed her burger. While there, we walked around to visit the attractions on the upper level and played horseshoes and shuffleboard. She was underaged for the axe throwing. This is my second time here. I most recently discovered it when the BlackPrint group had a meet up here. I tried the RedBone Turkey Leg - Buffalo Style with Mac & Cheese. In the main court yard there are several waterfalls, a big stage where they have live music, walking trails, and a huge bar outside with chairs all around it. Jamal was the bartender and took super good care of us.. even though we were a rowdy bunch! The food was out of the world! Tonight was a $30 open bar free food. This is what they call an event worth $30 the food was absolutely disgusting. Look at the chicken!!! It's grey and slimy. The fries were covered in salt to the point that they were inedible. The chicken skewers were slimy. The "open bar" was a vodka punch and sangria. The vodka tasted like taaka vodka. The cheapest vodka you can buy and it shows. They only offered these two drink choices that both tasted awful and not worth the money. Carolina watershed fix this!!!! It is not worth the money. Do NOT go here if you have an allergy!!! Not worth dying for. To summarize my experience, I paid for a $10 burger, was forced to pay a 20% gratuity, explained my fatal allergy to shrimp twice, waited 30+ minutes for my food, and upon the first bite had a reaction. On top of that, no staff members came to check on us the entire time (even when I clearly only had one bite taken out of my meal). Then I left so that I could get more medicine (since my mouth and throat were swelling--my allergy causes asphyxiation). I got no refund, no safe food, and no act of concern from the staff. The only thing I did get was charged for the food and a severe allergic reaction. I have emailed the owner about this, but unless something changes, do not go. The person who took my order said that they would tell the kitchen, but clearly something went wrong as I am still recovering from it. However, the service and staff were great around this time - very attentive and friendly. There is a center circle bar area and table seating surrounding the bar. Drinks - moderately priced and great cocktail combinations. I am eager to try more next time! Food - the menu is extensive!!! You will never run out of things to try. An additional plus is the price!!! I got a BIG grilled cheese sandwich with chips for ~$7. Amazing. So full after this plate. One of my favorite places to brunch in Memphis. When the weather is nice I love to bring my dogs and just sit and listen to the water falls while I'm eating. The atmosphere is something you can't really get anywhere else in town. They are only open certain days of the week so check before you go to make sure they are open. The service is always great and they have walk up bars if you just want to grab a drink if there happens to be a wait. My favorite thing on the menu is the chicken and waffles. The waffles melt in my mouth and the chicken pairs so well with the syrup. You have to visit Carolina this spring for brunch! read more

Excellent once again! Mac does a great job running this restaurant. I love the architecture of the restaurant (silos) and the menu theme is even connected to the restaurant's name. Grabbed lunch here with a colleague the other day and it was incredible. I had the turkey & smoked provolone panini with a side of their DELICIOUS Brussel sprouts. The sandwich was hot and meaty. Food is good but was there 5/28/23 some things was not so good , I didn't understand the way some food was served , like it had a line in sitting area that some paying guest (me included) would stand in to pick up your ordered food , just wasn't normal in most restaurant and I couldn't adjust too I think that need rethinking Also with that day in a holiday weekend they seems not prepared for the influx of that many guess I know while I was there they had to shut down new orders of food to catch up with those orders that had already previous place (lucky I didn't get in that situation) Also this particular evening was "reggae night" multiple bands I think, good groove , I appreciate that , $15 cover charge I thought was decent but here was my problem , they had vendors selling goods that is closely related to the reggae culture in the seating area and those vendors took up alot of the seating that were available for guess , I personally felt a lil uncomfortable sitting , I guess I need to get there early read more

We ordered the pork rind Nachos for starters, and found that they we an interesting twist on the typical tortilla. Creative and tasty! The pimento and fried green tomato sandwich is delicious. We loved the outside atmosphere, with a couple of local musicians strumming out some tunes, and the ripple of the waterfall in the background. My only complaint would be; invest in "Mosquito Joes! THUMBS DOWN Hubby and I do something called Sunday Funday where we try to find a place we haven't been to and have brunch. Friends of ours had gone to Carolina Watershed a few months ago and said it was "ok but nothing to write home about". We decided to try it out yesterday and see if maybe we would think about writing home about it. It looks unique and inviting as you drive up. We found a close parking spot and walked up and toward the back where there is outdoor seating. The atmosphere is fun and casual. We both love dogs and venues where you can bring your dog and we saw three or four there. For the size of the place it was quite busy. We found a small table with two chairs that was available among picnic tables and some other seating. The furniture was so rickety I was afraid to sit down without the fear of falling to the ground. After sitting there for 15 minutes and feeling sorry for the lack of wait staff who were obviously slammed, we never got acknowledged. We decided to go in the bar area to see if we could just get a drink. The bar area has a circular bar with seating all the way around and there are high top tables with those uncomfortable square metal bar stools. We chose to stand at the bar and the bartender did acknowledge us and said, "I'll be with you guys in just a minute" and then didn't return as we sat there for 10 minutes. A waist of at least 30 - 40 minutes. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We felt really sorry for the servers who were working their tails off and we tip more when we see them trying so hard to keep up but we have to be served in order to tip. I was hopeful after seeing the good reviews that this would be a place we could make a regular stop but that was not the case. We won't be returning. read more

This was a serious disappointment. First we walked in and it smelled like sewage (10:30am) - more than likely an issue with a grease trap. There were multiple signs stating "order from a bartender" but there was no bartender in sight. We walked out to the back courtyard where there were employees but not one made eye contact or greeted us. The DJ also just blankly stared. Next I walked upstairs only to find a private party reserved the outdoor area. We walked back through the inside bar where 2 more male employees were busy talking to each other then walked the other way when we got close. Needless to say we left at that point. We moved here from out of state and are trying to find our new local spots. The concept seemed unique/cool but the service execution was beyond sub-par...it was lacking altogether.
