The best coffee shop we have found in Memphis. Immediately cute curb appeal and has this cozy trendy coffee shop vibe. You can tell by the menu and equipment that it's a legit coffee shop with trained baristas and they KNOW how to make a coffee. Our lattes were perfectly made and at the right temperature. They had honey and almond milk for me which is my go to. All around the perfect coffee shop if you want a good cup (or tea) in downtown Memphis.

Cute take out boxes for pasties.

I don't think this shop gets enough credit! It's an old garage set up with comfortable esthetic, popping colors, and easy seating for someone working on a laptop or just enjoying the brew. The team members made it easy to ask questions and customize drinks. We went back two days in a row. The espresso shots were perfectly pulled and not burnt. The flavor was consistent and the workers looked like they thoroughly enjoyed being there. Definitely a place to go to if you want anything from brewed coffee to bougie seasonal drinks.

Isaac is an amazing Barista! He answered our every question and was very friendly. It's a cozy place to come and work or to chit chat with friends/family. Made a short pit stop here for some lattes!!

Pastry and loaf was amazing! Super sweet baristas who gave us excellent suggestions! After grabbing two comfy seats in the very nice clean seating area, we were served our warmed food and hot lattes. It was raining and the perfect atmosphere to stay warm and dry. Check them out! 10/10.

The coffee was really good and hit the spot we only had coffee on this visit, really recommend stopping in chatting with the friendly staff. I was a quiet place as it was early, so I found this to be the perfect wake up spot ! I did purchase a ball cap and love it!

Colorful coffee shop with plenty of seating and plugs while I did work for a few hours! Friendly staff! I enjoyed my coffee as well! Definitely recommend coming when the weather is warmer as well.

Best coffee we Nashvillians have had on our 3 weekend trips to Memphis. Love that they pull quality espresso shots, have alternative milks, and best of all quality 1883 syrup!! We got ours to go before ending our trip and driving back to Nashville, but such a cute spot to go and sit, work, or read. Staff was incredible kind and helpful!

Stopped by to get my last coffeeshophopper stamp. I ordered The Sietch which is a latte with, cinnamon, white mocha and vanilla. I ordered it with oatmilk. It comes hot or iced. I opted for iced this time. I love this cool coffee shop. Only downside is the parking can be challenging. I paid for parking nearby. The lighting is chill and very calming. The baristas were super nice. They have comfy chairs and an extensive menu of different lattes and regular espresso based coffees. There are pastries available in a small case. There was a steady stream of customers and regular customers. It is a average quiet place to study and coffee shop to frequent to get your daily caffeine. I will be back on another field trip downtown.

    The Bucktown Latte
    Ellie F.

Although this location is right downtown, it feels cozy rather than bustling. You could definitely sit for a while, enjoy a drink and do some work. I tried their Bucktown seasonal latte and loved the kick of cayenne! They offer some unique drinks that you can't get anywhere else. I'd like to go back and try more menu items.

The atmosphere and decor of this coffee shop are both inviting and antique bringing feelings of the historic times and souls once living in the area. The "team"working here were both professional, kind and friendly. When eating in your entree is hand delivered with a smile in a timely manner. I even got a brief visit from the supervisor/possible owner asking if I needed anything and how everything was going. When I replied with a positive experience he said he will pass on the word to the team. I liked that he gave credit to everyone/team. I will definitely return when in town for business and recommend to my colleagues.

The aesthetic is really well done. It's warm, modern, and just a place you actually want to hang out in for a while. The staff were great and super helpful, especially when it came to working around a few syrups they were out of. They offered substitutions without any fuss, and it honestly worked out for the better. All of their syrups are made in-house, and you can really taste the difference! They're fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. We ordered a Bourbon Mocha and a Carrot Cake Latte (which was absolutely to die for), and decided to keep breakfast on the lighter side with a slice of sourdough and two cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls, though, are not your typical style. Instead of the usual big, fluffy roll, they spiral the dough tightly and bake it that way. The result is this super fun, peel-apart situation where you're unraveling layer after layer. It feels like there are eight layers of cinnamon-sugar goodness to work through! Overall, Hustle & Dough has great coffee, thoughtful house-made syrups, unique pastries, and a really welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I'd go back to next time I'm in Memphis.
