Sunrise Memphis Absolutely the best breakfast place I've ever been to -- and my wife found it online! Sunrise Memphis is a cute little spot, neatly decorated and full of charm. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I'd love to return. It really had everything we could want in a breakfast stop.

They opened this place in 2017 and I think it has been packed ever since?? You stand in line, (which actually can go out the door and around the building), order at the register, take a number, and they bring you the food. Self served drinks too. All the food we had was great. Steak, bacon, hashed browns (small portions), buttermilk biscuit. The real sleeper on the menu is only $3.50, a very large cinnamon roll, but it seems like it is made with biscuit dough? I would love to come here and just get that with a large unsweetened iced tea. Basically everything is a winner, the food, the service, the facility... I wish they had more booths, but in the south it seems like they are less common? All the workers have terrific attitudes, they seem happy and actually proud to be working here. They play awesome music, which add to the good vibes.

While in Memphis, we wanted to grab breakfast somewhere near our hotel before driving to Mississippi. After seeing the 4.5 stars and it being less than a mile away, Sunrise Memphis was a no brainer. Extremely popular, so you may have to wait outside until the line dies down. For us, it wasn't a long wait and the door guy had the bubbliest personality ever.. Definitely a "morning guy".. Lol! They have a really cool menu with cooler names, I haven't had a bologna sandwich in at least 20yrs. Well dang it, give me the "P-Love", which is house smoked seasoned BBQ bologna, egg and cheese. Absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I've had in recent memory!!! We were a table of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Their ordering system is pretty smooth and efficient. You stand in line to order, they give you a number and seat you, and they'll bring out your food once it's ready.. easy peezy! As long as #55 is playing at Ole Miss, we'll be flying in and out of Memphis, that said, Sunrise Memphis will see us again and they better not run out of that bangin azz bologna!! LOL

This place was recommended to us by a server at Blue City Cafe, and overall it was a solid experience. My bacon was a bit too crispy, and the sausage patty wasn't my favorite flavor. The eggs were definitely cooked to my liking, but they lacked seasoning. That said, the biscuit was absolutely amazing -- clearly what they're known for, and rightfully so. Our service was excellent, and my espresso martini was good and made correctly. I'd give it about a 3.8 out of 5. It's almost a 4 for me, but not quite there. Overall, still a very solid spot!

We were in town for the weekend looking for a good brunch spot, and it didn't take us long to realize that Sunrise Memphis is a hoppin' spot on Yelp. Sunrise is counter service, and don't be surprised to see the line go out the door! Luckily, we came in before the rush and were able to get our food pretty quick. There is quite the variety of options here, from different kinds of plates and bowls. I went with what seemed to be the classic option: The Kitchen Sink - eggs, grits, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage and a biscuit. And just like it sounds, it was A LOT of food! I enjoyed everything on my plate and only wish I had the room to finish it all. Sunrise Memphis is an excellent local brunch option to add to your list!!

First time trying a bologna sandwich and really liked it. Biscuits were good. Price was decent, too.

Stopped in early on a Sunday morning for breakfast. Order at the counter and find a seat. The service was A1, everyone that we encountered seemed to enjoy being at work. The food was good! Our least favorite was the hash brown, kinda bland and a bit greasy. One pancake was enough to share, accompanied by a sammie of course. My sandwich of choice was the McBetter, sub turkey sausage. The gentleman at the counter suggested I get it with a soft scrambled egg, fire! Good biscuit, soft with still a nice bite to it. Good quality ingredients. They even have a self service coffee bar! I'll be back sooner than later.

I had my first Memphis breakfast here and they did a great job of representing. It's a spacious restaurant where you walk up to a counter, place your orders and then someone will bring your order out. There's also a self serve beverage bar. The first thing I noticed about the place is the fun and bright decor. It makes the place very inviting. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The menu is not very large, which I appreciate, but it seems to have something for everyone from avocado toast to breakfast tacos to omelettes. There are also plenty of sides to add on. I ordered a not so short stack with a side of bacon and eggs. Although it was a simple dish it was delicious. I'm very picky about pancakes and I have to say these were one of the best Ive had. I would definitely eat here again if I ever come Back to Memphis.

    Chorizo bowl Three Amigos Tacos

Sunrise Memphis was a whole vibe I had the tacos and the chorizo bowl--and both were hitting. The tacos were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and not dry at all. That chorizo bowl though? seasoned just right, hearty, and super satisfying. Everything came out fresh and hot, and you can tell they don't cut corners on quality. The energy in there is always up, and the service keeps things moving even when it's busy. Overall: 9/10 Definitely a go-to brunch spot in Memphis--pull up early!

Loved our breakfast at this place. We wanted to take advantage of our last meal in Memphis with breakfast before heading out of down during our road trip. This place had very high ratings and quite the variety of menu items for breakfast: sweet, savory, mains, sides, boozy drinks, non-boozy drinks, I mean, it really has it all as far as breakfast is concerned. There were only 2 smallish available parking spots when we arrived and none when we left, which felt like a good sign. I like the format: order at the counter and get the paying over with, someone brings your food to you, then you leave whenever the fuck you are ready to go. Perfect if you are on a time limit. I didn't want to go too crazy (lol) so I went with something that felt very appropriate for the location: the dirty south with pimento cheese, fried green tomato, and pepper relish on a biscuit. I also ordered the cheese grits. GF ordered "the kitchen sink or something" with a biscuit, eggs, hash brown, grits, bacon. We also ordered a cinnamon roll to share. For our drank, we ordered the Irish coffee (iced) and a Red Bull to share. The biscuits were out of this world. Flaky, soft, warm, and delicious. The cheese grits were served in a massive bowl for a "side". They were steaming hot and incredible with the cheese. Required no additional seasoning agents whatsoever. I tried GF's hash brown and that was also incredible. They were warm and with a nice crispy edge crunch. The cinnamon roll was fantastic. Soft, gooey, just the right amount of sweetness. My biscuit sandwich was pretty good but the pimento cheese spreads made the biscuit a little soggy and fall apart. The fried green tomato wasn't crisp enough to provide any contrast in the texture. It was hard to eat and I didn't feel compelled to finish it. It wast he only less than stellar part of the meal. Overall, eating here was a very enjoyable experience. Just a lil feedback for the place: the person who took our order said they didn't have cold brew despite it being on the menu so maybe removed it if you don't have it or let the cashier know you have it.

I stopped in while passing through for work fir some breakfast today. I went with the 3 Amigos Tacos, because life is better with Tacos, and the delivered. They were very fresh and the hash browns were perfect as well. The staff was super friendly and the place itself was incredibly welcoming, a great experience.

Hit the spot kind of breakfast/brunch. The line was long when we walked in so i was a little apprehensive but it moved quickly and we got our food way faster than anticipated. You walk up to order give you a number and find a table. Easy, seamless and easy to park. Food was so good, perfect grits, dreamy biscuit and the pancakes were the best thing we had!

Great food, nice portions, pricing is good, service was fast. Large establishment. You order and pay when you walk in and then choose where you want to sit. I would definitely come back.

It's a nice spot for brunch, but parking isn't very convenient. I'd recommend going together in one car. The food is just average

When's the best time to come? Headed there on a Friday morning; reviews say come early but how early is early :)

We were just there last Sunday. Got there about 8:15 and we were 5th in line. By 8:45 the line had tripled. But they are quite efficient and food comes out quick. The crowd seemed to turnover enough that it didn't appear that anyone waited for a… Read more

The atmosphere and decor of this coffee shop are both inviting and antique bringing feelings of the historic times and souls once living in the area. The "team"working here were both professional, kind and friendly. When eating in your entree is hand delivered with a smile in a timely manner. I even got a brief visit from the supervisor/possible owner asking if I needed anything and how everything was going. When I replied with a positive experience he said he will pass on the word to the team. I liked that he gave credit to everyone/team. I will definitely return when in town for business and recommend to my colleagues.

The aesthetic is really well done. It's warm, modern, and just a place you actually want to hang out in for a while. The staff were great and super helpful, especially when it came to working around a few syrups they were out of. They offered substitutions without any fuss, and it honestly worked out for the better. All of their syrups are made in-house, and you can really taste the difference! They're fresh and not overly sweet or artificial. We ordered a Bourbon Mocha and a Carrot Cake Latte (which was absolutely to die for), and decided to keep breakfast on the lighter side with a slice of sourdough and two cinnamon rolls. The cinnamon rolls, though, are not your typical style. Instead of the usual big, fluffy roll, they spiral the dough tightly and bake it that way. The result is this super fun, peel-apart situation where you're unraveling layer after layer. It feels like there are eight layers of cinnamon-sugar goodness to work through! Overall, Hustle & Dough has great coffee, thoughtful house-made syrups, unique pastries, and a really welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I'd go back to next time I'm in Memphis.
