You know, this is pretty damned good pizza. It's not thin crust (Memphis Pizza Cafe), it's not New York greasy (Little Italy), it's not the best pizza in Memphis (looking at you, Fox Ridge); yes, it's a chain. And to that, yes, it's Detroit style (313, baby! LGRW!) but it's also a nice change of pace. Detroit style is deep dish, but not in the way the 312 offers it. Not quite as dense, not a massive slab of lasagna baked into a pie crust. Detroit style is lighter (if that's a possibility in the realm of deep dish pizzas), with the cheese baking off the edge of the pizza onto the rectangular sheet pan that it's baked in. The result is a caramelized crisp on the edges of the rectangularly cut (not sliced) pieces. Jet's does a fine job for a chain. A fine enough job that I'll occasionally brave the Challenger/Charger/Inifinti/stolen Altima open-access dragstrip that is Germantown Parkway to get take out. And that's saying quite a bit. read more

I was a bit reluctant to try this place out seeing so many negative reviews, but they were from a year ago. I decided to try this establishment out and ended up loving everything I ordered. The 8 corner pizza, thin crust and hot wings (which were actually very spicy to my liking!) were great. The gentleman who gave me my order was busy but still patient when I asked questions. Just tried Jet's Pizza - Cordova location as I was out and on my way somewhere in the area. Got a 4 cornered pizza and planned to eat inside as I didn't want to eat in my car. Loved the crust, but the sauce, meat, and cheese were very mid. It was so loud inside that I felt the hearing of the workers had to be suffering as my hearing was. I've worked in loud environments before and was issued ear plugs. This should be an OSHA violation, but I checked and permanent hearing issues only have to be addressed if the decibel level is at 85. It was 60 while I was there. I would have been more satisfied at Cici's Pizza across the street as I rate it a 2.5-3. read more

I've ordered from Jets a number of times now. I usually order the Super Special, the Veggie, and various wings for an event. The pizza, on thin crust, never disappoints. Their wings are always really good too. I need to go there in person one day and have their pizza hot right out of the oven. If it is so good delivered and coole until eaten as leftovers after the event, I can't imagine how good it would be right after it comes out of the oven. Pro tip... If you are down the road at Meddlesome's having their custom Root Beer, other some Jet's to enjoy with it. In my travels, I have had Detroit Style pizza in Detroit. Jet's deep dish is the closest to the pizza I enjoyed in Detroit. Also, their cheesy bread is pretty darn good, especially with some of their garlic sauce for dipping. read more

I wish I could give this place "0" stars. This was the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. Placed my order and picked it up within 20 minutes so it should have been fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting out on a counter for a few days. It was extremely tough and hard to eat. In addition to tasting like old cardboard, it had a terrible taste over all. So we ordered a Jets 10 pizza and salad for delivery. The first pizza showed up with all the toppings on one side. Second pizza shows up with hair in the pizza. Needless to say we are done with Jets! This is our go to pizza place! They have a deep dish that never disappoints. They do make pan style as well for those who do not want as much bread. The sauce is flavorful and light. They have a list of flavoring for the crust with Turbo being the most popular. My favorite is Parmesan. They are very generous with the toppings as well. Our latest pizza was Italian sausage and cheese. The Italian sausage is a bit spicy so beware if you are sensitive to spicy. You can pick it up or have it delivered. I can't believe there aren't any reviews yet for Jet's because it is the best pizza delivery by far in Cordova. This is like restaurant pizza not the usual delivery stuff. They put a ton of cheese on their pizza. The first few pizzas I ordered were cheese with feta added. I think it used to be a specialty cheese pizza on the menu, I'm not sure, maybe I just asked for it because I don't see it anymore. But they put a lot of feta on it and that is something you just don't normally get at other places. They are usually pretty skimpy with the feta. The veggie pizza on thin crust is as good as pizzas I have had at good restaurants. The crust is just right and as usual, a ton of cheese. The sauce is really good, it seems homemade and has a more delicate flavor, not a strong paste that tastes like Ragu like a lot of places use. The "Triple Cheese Turbo Sticks" are unbelievably good. Some of the best bread sticks I have ever had. The regular bread sticks are good as well. They just have really good bread. Their sandwiches are really good also and again the bread is awesome. I did not care for the BLT pizza though. Just not my thing. And I don't like the square pizzas as much as the round. They have more of a deep dish style crust that reminds me of a biscuit. Only drawback is they are not the speediest, usually takes 45 minutes just for one veggie pizza and they are very close to me. But maybe that is why it is so good, they aren't mass producing their pizzas ahead of time for speed. You can also order online and they have a few specials listed so be sure to check that out. The large veggie pizza is on special now for $14.99. They may charge a little more than some of the other places but there is a reason for it. You get what you pay for and at Jet's you get more than you do from the other pizza delivery places. read more

Ok....I am someone that is trying to watch my weight. Funny I know since I am eating pizza. I get the irony. But that is what is so great about Jets! You are able to order items that fit your style like a salad- made to order, a small pizza, and some bread sticks. Tonight I have to say that the salad over shadowed everything I ate. I had the antipasta salad with Italian dressing. It was so freaking deliscious!! The turbo stix were awesome and the super supreme pizza with the garlic crust was yummy, but that salad was the best way to start out my dinner! The pizza is really good. They have an 8-corner pizza (which all slices have corners) so that's a plus for me. They have really good thin crust as well. Bad service. They didn't bring my two liter drink. I asked them to just give me a free one next time, to put it in their notes. They came thirty minutes later with the drink, but we didn't need it. I asked them specifically to please not do that, as I knew the kids would be done eating. The driver, such a nice young lady, said 'they won't give you a free one so you have to take this one.' I order from them twice a week. How hard could it be to just make it right the next time? Evidently quite hard. I hear they have new management. We first encountered Jet's in Michigan where they started and were very happy when they came to Memphis. They get it right time after time and for a good price. Ordered the Pizza at 2:00 didn't arrive until 3:45. I called 20 minutes after the pizza was supposed to arrive. They said they had to remake it and it was on its way. 30 minutes later it still wasn't here. I live less than a mile from the store. Once we finally got the pizza it was cold and cut unevenly. This used to be my go to pizza place. I am a pizza conneusier and have a very picky preference on my pizza. Jets was always fresh, wonderful array of toppings, friendly customer service. However, this was the old Jet's. The new one has completely turned me away. First, half the menu was recently cut including my beloved Philly cheesesteak pizza. Second, in the competitive market of pizza they have never offered a really reasonable lists of specials. They are upwards of 5.00-8.00 higher per pizza than most other chains. Their quality has become awful, my last two pizzas were so burned and dry I threw out half. Lastly their customer service has become laughable. The employees don't even give a pretense of caring and are sometimes down right rude. Save your money and hit up another chain folks. read more

This was probably some of the worst pizza I have ever had. We ordered for delivery to our hotel (just driving through on our way to Georgia) and it arrived over an hour later. The dough was rough, chewy, and bland. The cheese was rubbery. The sauce tasted like tomato sauce from the can. The pepperoni was hard and tasted old. The pizza was very very greasy and cold. My coworkers order Jet's Pizza practically every week or every other week. They love it; personally I really like it too although it's not my absolute favorite pizza. The thick, rectangular pizzas are always the favorite. They do have a lot of good pizzas with the various different toppings. It is always really hot and fresh. The crust on the rectangular pizza is always greasy and crisp on the outside/soft on the inside, which personally I'm not a huge fan of their crust but a lot of people like it. You can add seasoning to the crust which I definitely recommend. You'll always get a good, quality pizza so you can't really go wrong, it's probably just more of a personal preference thing. read more

Ok, I don't know who came up with Jet's or any of thier history but this is by far the best pizza in Cordova. Yes I like Papa but it is something about Jets. Especially the four courner pizza or 8 corner. It is crunchy, cheesy, fresh toppings, cooked to perfection, friendly staff. I have never had them deliver since I am like right down the street but they give me a time and it is ready for pick up,..I kinda think some of them know me but that's ok, this place is great! My family just loves jets we have ordered it so many times and we usually order the corner pieces we think that it is really cool to offer that ! We have also tried their wings and they are just fabulous ! We have also have a few people in our family that eat healthier food items and they have terrific salads and wonderful sandwiches ! This has to be the most rudest place i have ever order before. My family order a pizza that we took one bite, Then had to spit it out, it was soooo salty. When i called to see if they would remake the order the guy pretending to be the manager and said no that this was my fault for ordering the cajun crust. I said refund me my money he stated they do not do that and hung up on me. Unfortunately we had a really bad experience with the service at this location. We ordered online, waited to drive to the store to pick it up at the time it said it would be ready, after waiting at the store for over 30 minutes after the time they said it would be ready, we asked the cashier about how long it would be until it would be ready and she said "well it's in the oven, so however long it takes to cook" Very rude and unprofessional. Jet's pizza is always on point but the service at this Germantown Rd location is sort of sad. I called and an order for a large pizza took nearly five minutes cause dude didn't know how to enter it into the computer. Then when I show up to pick up the pizza, no one has come ring me up. Great cheese to sauce ratio and the toppings always taste fresh and real (not processed like Pizza Hut) The only thing I hate are the prices!! We ordered a New York style pizza tonight which is what we usually order. When it arrived I opened the box to find a pizza that's about 1 inch think or "hand tossed" I called in because this is the second time it's happened. The guy answered and said no problem we can remake it for you and send it right now I said perfect. A few mins later I get a call from a lady who I guess was gonna straighten me out and says hey what's the problem and I explained the same thing and was told I was wrong and got exactly what I ordered... I told her that I understand the difference between a hand tossed pizza and New York style and asked her if she did. She said she knows what it is and it is what she made and sent to me and once again I was wrong. I (getting aggravated ) told her I would bring the pizza to her and show her the difference . She said well come on then... I said I cannot believe this... I'm 28 years old and arguing to someone who sounds 18 who should be providing a service to me and she is giving it right back to me. then she says I'm sending you another pizza and he's going to be getting that one back. Of all the years I've eaten here, they have had great pizza, but slowly I have noticed the quality and service go down. This last order they totally mixed up all the orders. All 3 pizzas had the wrong type of crust on them, another had sesame seeds on it which we didn't order, there was way too much sauce when we asked for only a little bit, and though we asked for no icing, the cinna stix had icing.
