This is my family's favorite place to eat and I have grown up eating it so now I am quite fond of it as well. We usually order it online and get it delivered. Food from here is consistently good and delivered on time. I do suggest ordering online or with a coupon as it can get quite expensive without one. Also it's worth it to get an online account as you can earn points for ordering and get a free pizza. I think the points do expire over time though as hubby and I found an old account (we've almost always ordered through Mom's account) and it had no points on it but we remember using it at least once. So there's that. But I think it takes years for them to expire. The Perfect Pizza? Yeah back in 93 or 94 when this location first opened. I have yet to taste the better ingredients for better pizza. While the delivery service isn't half bad. Not much I could say for the pizza. I find it a little boring in taste as the sauce doesn't seem all that great. The cheese seems to taste bland pepperonis are ok. But the rest is medicore. Others actually make the dough fresh have fresh ingredients & know how to prep the pizza. I'm not really all that impressed and let down. Apparently Papa John's hates teachers. They refused to have 10 pizzas ready DAYS IN ADVANCE by 11am for a huge order we wanted to break up into two order slots. The store was already a ghost town when we went in to ask in person so it's not like they were too busy. Our teachers and our city deserve better. read more

Papa johns usually does a great job with delivery but for some reason today they got my order wrong. It's a little irritating when you pay extra for delivery and tip them well assuming your order is right. I ordered pepperoni with banana peppers. i would give it 6 stars if i could. I called papa johns in Collierville on Friday the other day and a very young gentleman named Josh answered the phone. He politely put me on hold and told me what the wait was about. I then got the line picked up again by a young boy named Grayson. He was very sweet and kind and took my order successfully. When i went to pick up the pizza, the first thing i noticed was his beautiful smile and sweet smell. He immediately gave me my pizza and my children were fully satisfied! For an update to my previous review - So far there has been no word from anybody at Papa John's, like I knew there would not be. I have since decided that Marco's pizza is far better all the way around. Their pizza is superior (it is cooked correctly and is very hot when it arrives), they usually deliver ahead of time, their delivery people are very nice, and their prices are a bit better. SO.... in Collierville especially, Marco's is the pizza to order, NOT Papa John's. I will be seeking out Marco's in the future when travelling to other places, instead of Papa John's. One of the worst customer service experience in a while. They are on par with Walmart. Ordered online and had a 50 min wait. At pick up pizza was ready but cashier was on phone and completely ignored me for 10 min. Asked the manager if he can help. He said no and only the one kid in the phone could take my cash. I've never actually taken the time to review anything online but after my terrible experience with this place, I just had to. I got pizza from this location last week and it was disgusting. It was bland and tasteless and tasted old, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something for some time. It was also dry and looked bad. Why anyone would sell something like this, I don't know. The delivery driver was also rude and acted like he was doing me a favor. I called and asked to speak to a manager and was told he was busy and couldn't come to the phone. They took my name and number, but I have yet to receive a return call. So much for customer service.
