Some items on the buffet and from the kitchen fall short of expectations. For example, the prime rib was extremely tough and difficult to chew, and the lasagna was overly salty without much depth of flavor beyond that. The soups also tend to be very salty and appear hastily prepared. Several dishes seem overcooked or assembled without much attention to presentation. That said, there are highlights. The salad bar is excellent -- fresh, well-stocked, and consistently clean. The made-to-order bread is outstanding, and the pizza is quite good. The overall restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and many customers appear satisfied with their meals. With stronger attention to seasoning balance, preparation quality, and presentation, this restaurant could significantly elevate its dining experience. The foundation is there -- especially with such strong staff -- and improving the food quality would make it truly stand out in the Oakland, Tennessee area. The owners don't seem to care because they making money is my guess.

When we picked a piece up, it was completely limp and floppy. Insanely unappetizing! We even went as far as taking a bite. Immediately was disgusted at how mushy it all was, and the sauce didn't even taste right! It was just an incredibly disappointing experience..the only thing that was right was the other half of our wings had the correct sauce on them...which is not saying much.
