Hidden gem so excited to have found! Closest thing to old school Sbarro mall pizza. That New York grease that's never too much & absolutely delicious! Was looking for pizza in Cordova after leaving a ball game & had never been. Ordered online from Slice easily. The employees greeted me & were very friendly & polite. The knots were fine and I wish they were more garlic and butter flavored, but eh pizza really stole the show. I have to say that I did not think that I would find good pizza, much less great pizza, in Cordova, Tennessee, but after a visit to Mola's Pizza, my opinion of finding great pizza in Cordova, Tennessee has changed. Mola's Pizza is a small pizzeria in a shopping plaza that also has a Corky's in it. The ambiance is pretty much not huge in ambiance, but the real star here is their fantastic pizza.Pizza. The man behind the counter was friendly and told me he and his family was from Brooklyn, New York and after trying their great pizza, I can taste the New York influence in their pizza. I went with a plain pizza, a meat lover's pizza, and a chicken pesto pizza. My favorite of the three was the plain and my second favorite was the chicken pesto pizza. The meat lover's was good, but I am somewhat a pizza purist. I would definitely recommend Mola's Pizza and would encourage you to visit here if you are craving pizza and are in the area. This pizza parlor is not much to look at but it packs one hell of a bang. I ordered the largest meat stuffed pizza I could get. I think it was 18" and 8 slices. I could only eat two slices. It is extra sausage, extra pepperoni, and extra cheese. There is an extra layer of pie crust on top. This pizza is extremely good and will feed a large family. read more

This is a little old school pizza place, which I find pretty charming, just not to eat in for dinner. For my first visit, I ordered an eggplant Parmesan sandwich to go. When I went to pick it up, I realized I was pretty hungry, so decided to try a cheese slice, as well. The pizza by the slice is made in advance and then heated in the pizza oven. When mine came out, there was grease pooled on top that I absorbed with a napkin. I wanted to love the pizza , because our favorite place is a half hour from our house, but it honestly did not hold a candle to it. HOWEVER , the sandwich was positively delicious! It's this perfect crusty, chewy warm bread with the meats and cheese of your choice, toooed with lettuce, tomato and this really delicious Italian dressing. Mola's was established in 1993 and is tucked away in a strip mall near an Ace Hardware. The locator is unassuming and reminiscent of something you would find in a bustling downtown like location. They sell pizza by the slice and have a lot of sub selections. I opted for the pizza steak sandwich and my husband got a stuffed pizza. My sandwich was ok. I should've asked to dress it up with peppers or something for more of a punch. The service was pretty quick. Worth visiting for an easy pick me up. read more

Molas Pizza is a little pizza joint stuck in the corner of a shopping. I ordered using slice and it told me it would be 50 minutes. Then told me they were busy so it would be an hour and a half. Then 20 minute later it tells me it's done. So I head down and the friendly staff put it in the oven to reheat for me. Honestly the pizza isn't that bad. It's not something you write to the New York Times about but all the same, it's an alright pie. They lose one star for the slice timing fiasco and one for overall taste. read more

This place was amazing best pizza I've had in the surrounding memphis area. There stuffed meat pizza was so different than any other place and so good. The Alfredo pasta and garlic knots where very good as well. The atmosphere isn't the fanciest but it's not bad. The price was very reasonable around $30 for 2. I would rate this place a 9.5. First, let me start with service. Always friendly and always looking to please customers. The restaurant has a clean feel to it. I have always done takeout and never had a sit down meal there. I would definitely dine in just prefer takeout pizza. Lastly, pizza has a fresh taste and always consistent in delivery to takeout method. Pizza is more of a New York style with a little layer of sauce, just the right amount of cheese and pepperonis that fold up after cooking due to be being fresh. I find myself coming back every so often when the craving of pizza arises. I do like the thin crust, just enough sauce and fold up pepperoni pizza style. First of all I should briefly explain how I rate a restaurant. To some, a 5 star review means "the best I've had anywhere, nothing else compares" therefore only the absolute slap your mama incredible gets 5 stars. I take a slightly different approach. Unless there's something wrong with service, quality of food, cleanliness etc. I don't take away stars. With that said, we've gotten carry out orders several times from Mola's and every order has been consistent. The guy who answers the phone I think is the owner, but whether he is or not, he's always very polite and has always gotten our order correct. That in and of itself seems to be an accomplishment these days as most restaurants are struggling to get and retain good staff. With each phone order we've been told exactly how long until our order will be ready (never more than 30 min) and they've never run late. We always arrive right when he says and our pizza is always ready, and fresh from the oven hot! The pizza is delicious and in my opinion far and away better than the big chains. Can you get a better pizza at that place you went once in Little Italy NYC? Probably but click your heels three times Dorothy cause you're not in NYC or Chicago or wherever that "one place one time" is. This is a locally owned neighborhood pizza shop that serves hot, delicious food with consistently great and friendly service. I say "Well done, we'll be back and here's a 5 star rating"! read more

This place has solid pizza, salad, pasta, sub and appetizer options at a good price. It's not fancy, just a good basic NY style pizza, simple pastas, and solid subs and calzones. The white cheese pizza was delicious. We also enjoyed the pepperoni. I got toasted ravioli which was actually decent (kind of rare in this town). My husband has tried a few of the subs (Meatball, steak, etc) and the pepperoni calzone which were all good. The cannoli is my favorite desert. I'm giving four stars because I'm not a fan of the garlic knots being the only bread option with meals, but that may be just because we have only had delivery during COVID. They might be better if I ever get a chance to eat at the restaurant. read more

There was a Milano's in the Raleigh Springs Mall when I was a kid, and I remember spending many a lunch hour there when I worked at Goldsmith's. My girlfriends and I always loved to go and see the guys behind the counter spinning the dough into a perfect round pie. It's been a while since I've visited the Milano's in Cordova, but I wasn't too surprised to see the same guys behind the counter here. Blast from the past. Milano's sells pizza by the slice- a definite plus. The slices are HUGE and will definitely fill you up. It's pretty tasty, although I prefer Garibaldi's or Little Italy these days. A great place for families, you'll often see little ones scurrying around, or big groups celebrating a Little League win (Noelle is definitely right on that point). read more

WOW! It's ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! And that does not give this restaurant enough credit when you're in the mood for some good authentic Italian food, cooked with love!! My spouse and I were craving a calzone and were indecisive on who had the best one in the Cordova/Germantown area, so yes...(lol ) we googled it! A few names came up, but corporate restaurants put out the same ole', same ole'! They must, it's policy, you eat at one, they want you to have that "same feel across the board". I know as I'm a retired Upscale Dining F&B Manager, but I opened a few corporate chain restaurants as well. Lo and behold, we'd just about given up and decided on a well known BBQ restaurant on Germantown Pkwy, when we looked in the shopping center and wayyyy back tucked in the corner was Mola's Pizza!! We bust out laughing and said, "why not", what a lucky break as BBQ was not on my palate! We ordered the Sausage Calzone and tweaked it the way we liked! Adding extra sausage (which wasn't needed!), removing this, adding that, etc. the way we liked! NEVER ONCE did they frown, they even suggested items! The 2 gentleman were polite, friendly, talkative, just EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The Sausage Calzone was so LARGE that one fed my spouse and myself fully! The inside dining atmosphere was quite, you could stand and watch them prepare true authentic Italian food, or watch the televisions that weren't blasting! This IS Shelby County's Best Italian Restaurant, HANDS DOWN!! Price $ wise, you can go 2 days before payday and eat like royalty for under $13.00 for what we'd ordered! Milano's is one of those family pizza places that's good at what it does -- nothing flashy, and on Saturdays, it seems to be teeming with kids' sports teams. So apparently it's a hit with the kids. The great thing about this place, and I don't see this very often, is that you can get pizza by the slice. Fantastic pizza, fantastic salads, fantastic sandwiches and fantastic calzones. Never had a bad pizza from there, always beats any of the greasy fast food places around. It's simple in toppings and selection, not a downside though. Always can walk in and get a slice, if you call ahead you could also pick up a calzone or similar. Best italian sausage of any place around here, the crust is a medium, not super thick, not a thin crust either.
