Where to start. I was so impressed with this place. The vibe is so old school cozy pizzeria with the food to match. I started with a Greek salad which was crisp and fresh. I then had the small McKenna pizza which is porter peat pizza I've ever had! What a wonderful place. The staff was crazy nice and I just loved everything about it. If you're looking for solid "Italian" food this place if ok. Good, but nothing special. Calzone was tasty but a bit greasy. Pasta was bland but meatballs were ok. Pizza was pretty good. Service was not too friendly but food was prepared pretty quick. Prices were ok. read more

I ordered eggplant parm for delivery. My meal was unlike any I've had before. The eggplant seemed to be sliced by a mandoline, and lightly tossed in breadcrumbs (and I mean lightly). Most of the entree was spaghetti in marinara. I can't say I loved it or are compelled to come in to try something else. read more

I'm not sure why or how this place has 4.5 out of 5 stars because the food was terrible. We got a small cheese pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. Everything was bland and underwhelming. My friend is new to this country and is now afraid to eat Italian food again. I tried to assure her it's not all this bad. The service was quick. We received our food pretty quickly. The atmosphere was your average pizza shop. This is rated one of the highest Italian places in Memphis, but maybe Memphis just doesn't do Italian food if this is considered 'great'. read more

I've been going to this location for years. My Krav Maga class is just 50 yards east of it when I decided to by and get a cuple of slices for my wife and I. I didn't recognize the folks working there (it's a Wednesday and we normally go by on a Friday or Saturday) and when the young man rang up my order he very politely explained I would have to answer the question about the tip before I could swipe my card. I said to him in repsonse "not my first rodeo" and then another gentleman asked me if I knew his software. I was somewhat confused by the question and then he proceeded to insult me. I explained I had been coming by this location for years and he pushed back they had just updated the software and the young man was explaining it to me. I then asked when he had updated the software, he replied in the last month or two. I then replid to him I had visited since then (and this was the same process as my last visit). Then he said I had an attitude. I have always given a 10.00 tip on my 10.00 purchase and I did the same tonight. Would I recommend coming to this location? Not on your life. This 'manager' has ruined a great little place for any night except Friday or Saturday (yes, I will continue to give my business to the weekend crew). This was a horrible person that may need to work in the back office and not with the public. read more

This place is amazing. Steps away from my front door and the food is to rave about. I got the garlic knots, cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the Stromboli and there was nothing on my plate I did not like and I'm not even a fan of pizza. I don't know of the service or ambiance as I ordered through delivery but DO plan on going in with my family one night. read more

Great accommodating small pizzeria.Great place for . Spaghetti was very delicious and vegan friendly 50$ bucks fed my son who had the extra cheese and Italiansausage, daughter extra cheese, and I had the veggie spaghetti pasta and breadstick that the chef made sure to brush with oliveoil. The pizza is the best by far in the Memphis area. Crust is perfect a little chew and a little char. Service is great. Pizza always gets to you hot with the mozzarella still hot . It's a pizza joint so if you're like me it is the perfect ambiance reminiscent of pizza joints on the East Coast. I make it a regular weekly thing and you should too! read more

All I can say is YUM! only a few tables to eat inside, it's a quaint little place. We had a calzone, pizza, fried ravioli, and tiramisu. All of it was delicious and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will go back if I'm in town again. read more

This place is adorable. You walk in and are greeted by such friendly staff. The pickup order process was so simple and easy!! If you're looking for some amazing pizza to bring home for yourself or friends, this is the place to go! I ordered a 12" deluxe pizza with no mushrooms and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Such great flavor and balanced toppings! I also ordered the toasted ravioli appetizer... also amazing. I would do this combo any day, any time. I was however disappointed in the lackluster flavor of the pesto pasta I ordered. My friend and I agreed we would order here again, but no pesto pasta. Thus the reason for 4 stars. No complaints here! so I wanted a specialty pizza (fresh mozzarella) as a slice but that wasn't an option so I just had a regular cheese slice & added my own toppings. I added some plum tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, Parmigiano, and basil to it (basically the exact same toppings for the fresh mozzarella pizza). I loved the fact it's thin crust & the toppings are so delicious & it was cooked perfectly. Little Italy is definitely one of my favorite pizza restaurants in Memphis. read more

I almost ate styrofoam and I'm pissed!!! A family member and I are staying in The Central Station hotel right across the street from this place and were looking for a quick fix for our sweet tooth cravings and Little Italy was the closest. I walked in with low expectations-- it's a small place and there was only one other person in there besides the employees. I was warmly greeted as soon as I walked in by a blonde woman, hate that I didn't catch her name. I ordered quickly with Apple Pay and I received my order shortly after. I walked it back to the hotel in about 3 mins. We took a chance on the cannolis and the chocolate mousse cake. My aunt loved the cannolis but they make me gag in general so I left her to it. But the cake? I took one bite and OMG I could've died right then. The chocolate mousse cake was soooo good! It was like chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream on top and chocolate shards (?) on top. It's rare that I have cravings for sweets and it often doesn't last for longer than a bite or two but I ate the whole slice and almost ate the container it came in too! This place is filthy!! I don't understand how the health department allows them to stay open. The machine that they make the dough in is literally 3 feet away from the disgusting bathroom. Not to mention the pizza we got cost 30.00! Avoid this place like the plague! read more

This means she also experiences a great deal of social anxiety. She felt so welcomed that she hardly stuttered while we were there, and when we left she said, "This was such a good place for people like me." I loved that they made me and my mom welcome, but am doubly grateful that you went out of your way to make my sister so happy. She really felt like you treated her like an old friend. My sister has a speech problem, but she's not mentally disabled (in fact she's an electrical engineer). Then we opted into the blind tasting menu. 5 courses, chosen from the menu that you don't know what you're getting until it touches the table. My husband and I are pretty adventurous as far as food goes so it was perfect for us. No shit- Everything was amazing. I loved the tasting menu as it was not any dishes we were considering and I am so glad we got to try things we wouldn't have otherwise. For example, the little asparagus appetizer was the best thing we ate, on God. Like, what in the actual F ! The kind of magic they created with those little green veggies was out of this world --I didn't even want to swallow it was that delicious. There was some kind of fish crudo with beet and kumquat relish. Weird and so good! We also had some pasta with a lemon-y butter sauce and spinach and then a chicken entree. I was getting so full by the time entrees came I ate less than half of it but the skin was crispy, chicken was cooked to perfection and husband finished them both. Now yall, the dessert was a heavenly little pot of rich chocolate with a caramel base and crunchy honeycomb crisp on top. I was so full I couldn't finish it but my husband finished his and then mine.
