As a truck driver, I've eaten pizza all over the country--from Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Las Vegas, Boston, New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. The Crabby Crawdaddy Pizza at Venice Kitchen is the second-best pizza I've ever had. The only pizza I've had that ranks higher is Jockamo Upper Crust Pizza in Indianapolis. The crab and shrimp are the stars of the show. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and loaded with flavor. If I had one suggestion, I'd add just a touch more seasoning to make it absolutely perfect--but even as it is, it's outstanding. I also tried the soup. It was decent, but it didn't stand out to me, so I probably wouldn't order it again. I ordered takeout, and when I arrived, they were just boxing everything up. I only waited about 3-4 minutes. The staff was friendly, and everything was hot and ready. If you're in Memphis, don't leave without trying the Crabby Crawdaddy Pizza. Took my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday at Venice Kitchen. The food was definitely a bit overhyped based on all the TikTok reviews I had seen. My daughter ordered the Pasta Maria and rated it a 6.5/10. I had the Creole Delight and would give it a 6/10. We also tried the Crawfish Rolls, which were hot and fresh, but a little too salty for my taste. I'd rate those a 7.5/10. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of parking available behind the building. Of course this was during a late Sunday afternoon. We received impeccable service from Travis L. I never once had to ask for a refill of my drink. We shared an order of the fried mozzarella sticks. They were perfectly toasty and served with deliciously chunky marinara sauce. We also split the spinach pecan salad, which included tasty blueberries. My favorite was the creole delight, which I plan on ordering again. From the street, this building seems small. However, it's pretty long, and the interior is fairly spacious and comfortable. The patrons here seemed to be from all walks of life. The prices for foods and drinks were quite reasonable. We went to Venice Kitchen for the first time tonight! It was busy and we did have a short wait, then were seated at the bar. We started with a classic Caesar salad and the veggie wings! The wings flavor was great especially paired with the house ranch. I got the Shell-A-Brate for my entree; I loved the two sauce combination, but I wish there had been a little less spinach in each shell. I have heard a lot of good things about Venice Kitchen, so my friend and I decided to try it out. When we got to the restaurant, we just noticed how amazing-looking the place is. We were immediately seated at a table when we walked in in. Our waitress Nevaeh was amazing and took care of us. My friend ordered the Rasta Pasta and I ordered the Hog Wild Pizza. While we were waiting for our foods I just looked and noticed how clean the restaurant is. Once our foods arrive, I can't wait to dig in. The Pork Tenderlion on the pizza was just excellent. Me and my wife stopped in for dinner. First thing first they dont do reservations, its first come first serve. I approached the desk out front and gave my name and number and was told it be 30 mins. It was actually about 35 mins before we got a table ready text. So we where seated and introduced to our waitress. She brought us waters and wasn't seen again for about 15 mins. I have been here about three times now and each time I have enjoyed my overall experience. Parking is in the back and a bit tight but manageable. You walk in and the restaurant gives off a nice vibe. It's mellow. So far with each visit the staff has been great and the management walking around fun and engaging. Drinks are on point and the food has been exceptional. The lasagna wasn't my favorite BUT it wasn't bad. I will forever order the spinach dip and mozzarella sticks. And my husband clearly loves the pizza cause that's all he ever orders. I will return again and again. So why only 4 stars?? It's great but not perfect. But definitely worth a visit. I've had better Italian in the city. I love love love Venice Kitchen. It's one of my favorite spots to get dinner in Memphis. We got the S5, crawfish egg rolls, and chicken tacos this time. The S5 is a unique and delicious pizza creation. The crawfish egg rolls are creamy, perfectly seasoned, and stuffed with just the right amount of crawfish. I like to get the house salad with lemon vinaigrette to feel healthy lol. The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is a beautiful casual dining spot. This was my first time here, even though I past by quite often. My daughter took me for Mothers Day this past Saturday. We had a small wait which was great considering it was Mother's Day weekend and lots of graduations. Everyone was friendly and our waiter(Prince) explained everything and keep checking that we were good despite it being very busy. The stars were definitely the egg rolls, the salad and the pizzas. The salad was huge and fresh, the egg rolls were so tasty and I don't like crawfish and the dipping sauce. The pizza was chewy crunchy in all the right ways and all the toppings were fresh and delicious. The deviled eggs needed a touch of sweetness that's just my history talking, still very good. This place is very overhyped. This was my first time hear and I was excited to try it. I wanted to start with something you shouldn't mess up which was the mozzarella sticks and even tho they look good. The breaded was either seasoned weird or the oil was really old. Not sure which. I got a mocktail mojito which was really tasty 10/10. For my entree I got the chicken parm with a side ceaser salad. But the parm was more like flakes instead of melted cheese. Wasn't a fan. But wasn't nasty. While sitting at the bar I witnessed this encounter between a customer and manager. And the manger was not friendly or helpful at all. Unfortunately, the deliciousness of the food is not the same since they removed the words "Old" and "Pizza" from their name. The prices increased, but the food got worse. When I took that Salmon Caesar photo, I still loved it here. The salmon now has a burnt flavor and drab taste. The deviled eggs are watery, but taste good. I'm not sure if watery is the word, because I believe it's just that there is too much olive oil drizzled on top. I think I will just have to pass from now on. read more

Zero stars if I could. This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. I ordered through Uber Eats. The app showed the food was ready, yet when I arrived I waited an additional 20 minutes, providing my name multiple times. When I was finally handed the bag, the employee even confirmed my name -- Malcolm -- and still gave me someone else's order. I didn't discover the mistake until I got home, after a 25-minute drive. When I called the restaurant, their first "solution" was for me to drive another 25 minutes back so they could remake the food. Completely unacceptable. I asked for a refund instead. What happened next made things worse: - I was placed on hold twice for over 10 minutes - Hung up on during one of the calls - front desk then ask to take my name and number to have the manager call me back. Not only was my time wasted (over an hour and a half total), but another customer was also impacted since they gave the wrong food to two different people. The lack of accountability, urgency, or basic customer service was shocking. Mistakes happen. Failure to fix them does not have to. The manager's inability to resolve a simple issue turned a bad mistake into a terrible experience. read more

I went to dine in last week and had a delightful time. Food was delicious and fresh and the ambiance was pleasant - not too loud. One odd things was a female server who kept yelling and dancing/twerking in the back area - she was so loud that I wondered if she was drunk lol. Our server was also amazing. I felt inspired to get this beautiful salad again so I ordered it yesterday and it was my first and only meal of the day. I immediately knew something was off, the cucumbers tasted like soap and it looked nothing like what's pictured - it was just thrown together. I took all The cucumbers out and tried eating a few bites and got violently sick and am still sick now. My guess - someone didn't wash their hands or something was wrong with the prep- no gloves or something. I know these are the risks with eating out but this really sucks. It was a waste of money but now I also have food poisoning from a salad in my attempt to try to eat healthier. I hope management sees this and really makes sure the staff is practicing safe prep for delivery orders, especially during lunch rush. read more

We got there right at 11am when they opened and there was a line to get in the door. We were immediately seated. We ordered cocktails and placed an order for the crawfish rolls. They are always good. We ordered breakfast tacos (yummy), enchiladas (delicious) and French toast (amazing). I love French toast and order it just about everywhere. This ranks up there with the top 2!!! It was thick brioche bread served with powered sugar and crème brûlée sauce and berries. It was soooo good. The toast was cooked to perfection. The sauce was delicious. I give this French a 12 out of 10!!! It was that good!!! The restaurant filled up very quickly on Sunday morning. Sat down with my coworkers for lunch. I got the crabby crawdads pizza on cauliflower dough. It was delicious and the cauliflower dough was crispy like a regular dough not soggy like most.
