Stunning lake side view at the patio. Requested for one after making a reservation the day before and managed to snag a nice lakeside seating for a Saturday evening. The wait in between food was a bit long but other than that, everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious and I've been meaning to try out this spot after moving to the area. So glad that I did!

The people of Reston love Red's Table so I had to give it a try. We went on a Saturday night and they only had bar seating available, so definitely make a reservation. For dinner, I got the Chesapeake Bay crab bisque which was creamy and delicious. I also got an order of mussels that I haven't stopped thinking about. The white wine sauce they were cooked in, I could drink. The portion size was great, I got a lot of mussels. It was very good, next time I want to sit on the patio and look over the lake.

We are regulars at Red's Table, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. For appetizers, we've tried the clam chowder, bang bang shrimp, and crab dip. Each one has been excellent. Our go-to entrée is the market steak with Brussels sprouts and potatoes, and honestly, we've never had a better steak dinner anywhere. We've traveled quite a bit in search of the best, and Red's Table wins--1000%. We've also had the Cobb salad (amazing), chicken sandwich, and burger, and there hasn't been a single dish we didn't enjoy. Everything comes out on time, cooked just right, and we always leave completely satisfied. The service is just as impressive as the food. The entire staff is polite, welcoming, and attentive. Meridith, who has been our server multiple times, is incredible!!! She even remembers our order from memory, which makes every visit feel personal. The atmosphere is another highlight. The back patio is absolutely gorgeous with views overlooking the lake, and there's also a side patio that offers a really nice view as well. We genuinely look forward to our biweekly dinners here. And one more thing, the coconut brown ale is outstanding, easily the best beer in town!! I'd recommend calling ahead to make sure the patio is open and available, as it tends to book up quickly. All in all, if you haven't been to Red's Table yet, you are making a big mistake.

A modern lakefront restaurant nestled in a busy shopping area. It's officially fall so the fall foliage is in full Autumn mode. This restaurant was massive in size. I noted that it had 3 separate dinning areas, an indoor, outdoor and indoor patio area and the architect designed all areas around the view of the lake so no matter where you were sat, even at the bar, you still had a great view of the lake. The staff was extremely nice and gave helpful recommendations on what to order .8 ended up ordering an espresso martini, shrimp saffron pasta and a brownie Sunday. The espresso martini was made using heated milk, espresso, cinnamon and other natural ingredients with a shot of their smooth house vodka native to Virginia. The shrimp saffron pasta was delicious, smooth, creamy saffron sauce with squash, sliced olives, Parmesan and some spinach. It gave a bold, eastern Italian taste that I thought wouldn't get unless I returned to Italy. The brownie was very decadent, homemade ice cream. It was more of a cake like brownie but still had that flaky top. Classic!! I met the owner while dinning as he noticed how appreciative I was was with every bite I took of the pasta and so he walked over and had a chat with me around the pasta item. It was neat hearing how he had come up with the idea! Parking: free and plenty all around the lot that is located right outside of the establishment.

It was our first time at Red's Table. We discovered it by searching for "dog-friendly outdoor patios" here on Yelp. I was so excited to see a restaurant on the water! We made a reservation, but I decided to call since we were bringing a dog-to make sure we got a good table. Luckily I did, because the woman who answered the phone was surprised. She mentioned that sometimes people showed up with dogs; but were turned away, because they actually weren't dog-friendly. She hadn't realized that the mistake was displayed on their website, and therefore linked to other sites. She was so gracious, however, when I expressed that we would still come without the dog; and that I'd love to sit at a table right by the water! She mentioned that the tables outside were first come, first served; but thanked me for letting her know about the website mistake, and promised us a great table. We arrived and they were busy and the hostesses seemed very stressed. I'm sure it was due to the nice weather. There were two hostesses-One may have been the one I spoke with earlier, but I'm not certain. The other was unfriendly which was a bit off-putting. I mentioned I'd spoken with someone earlier & explained the situation. After some confusion, and a short wait, that hostess led us to an outdoor table. Unfortunately, it was furthest away from the water, and we couldn't see the water well while seated. We asked a couple times to move as we saw tables by the water being cleared. But we were told no, as others were waiting. We were hoping that we could move and someone who had been there before or didn't care about the view could have our table, since it would've still been outside: Win-win. But when I approached the hostess, I was met with the same unfriendliness, and it felt uncomfortable for a first experience/impression. We could understand the scenario, but would've appreciated better customer service -a smile, or perhaps an apologetic dismissal of the request. We still enjoyed our meal and our server was wonderful. I would love to see one or two more vegetarian options, as they were limited. We loved the Goat Cheese Fritter appetizer. My mushroom/rolled oat burger was ok, but I would not get it again. My cocktail was a "Reds Cosmo" which featured a touch of Rosemary, and it was perfect. We would probably try this restaurant once more, maybe for brunch, in hopes of an all around positive experience, and for a chance to sit by the water because the view is really what sets this place apart! I walked over to the railing to get a picture before we left. There is also an outdoor area next to the restaurant, where we could've ordered take-out and sat; which is just a public use area. We didn't see it until we were leaving, but we could've had our water view there, potentially.

My mom and I came for lunch. The food was AMAZING! Hot and flavorful. We are inside but the outside was beautiful. The drinks were iykyk. Will definitely be back for lunch and to try the brunch. The ladies were super nice too!

Red's is one of my favorite restaurants in Reston! I live nearby, so I often come here for summer nights by the water or to sit in the bar area and watch a game (although they only have 2 tvs so this isn't necessarily a sports bar atmosphere). I recently reserved their private party space and can't say enough good things about it! The staff was so incredibly helpful; they got us a drink while we set up, learned every single attendee's name and who their partner was to manage multiple tabs, and were so quick with service. Lastly- the food! I have never had a bad thing here, but their crab dip, clam chowder, cobb salad, and fried chicken sandwich are some of my most ordered. The serving sizes are generous, so I recommend ordering a few things and sharing to try more!

View from Red's Table back patio

There's a reason this place has so many loyal regulars. I'm here about twice a week, drawn in by the consistently friendly service and the excellent food and beverage program. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance--elegant without ever feeling pretentious--making it ideal for locals, families, and professionals meeting over business meals. Pricing is right in line with comparable restaurants in the area, but the quality here is noticeably higher. Their monthly dinner events, in particular, are an incredible value and showcase just how much care goes into the menu. And of course, the lake view is truly special. Red's Table is one of the very few restaurants in Northern Virginia with genuine waterfront dining, and this view outshines all the others. It's a uniquely beautiful setting that elevates every visit.

The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. Server Kelly M. took our order for a Caesar Salad, Margarita Pizza and a glass of red wine (light meal). A different person delivered the salad and pizza to us, and the food was good. However, we never saw Kelly from the time she took our order until we finished eating. She then showed up with an empty wine glass, said the wine order did not get put in, and asked if I still wanted it. I said "no" since we were done with our meal. At that time, I requested the Cheesecake w/cherries for my complimentary dessert, a small box for pizza, and the check. More than 20 minutes later, Kelly brought a box and the check, but no dessert. She then asked if I "had decided" on a dessert. I repeated that I would like Cheesecake with cherries. After nearly 30 minutes there was no sign of our waitress and no dessert. We were not happy at this point, left cash payment on the table, and walked out. We have eaten at Reston 60 Vines multiple times. No complaints about previous visits; food and service were very good. However, due to the long waits, inattention, and mistakes by our server on this visit, we were very disappointed. We felt management should be aware of this so they can correct the problem. In comparison to our most frequented Ashburn outpost, the interior here feels more cozy and old school rather than bright and modern. Despite a very busy dining and waiting room, the host sat us almost immediately during peak hours at a generously sized booth, a nice touch given we had our infant son in tow. The food here tasted consistent with what we have had at other locations of Ted's. While the food here does not necessarily amaze the palate, it is executed competently and the large menu caters to a variety of tastes with some creative, global touches. My wife always selects the Turkish eggs, which comprise a trio of poached eggs swimming in a garlicky yogurt and topped with piquant chili oil. The dish makes for a light, fresh breakfast with plenty of flavor. I opted for a Sichuan hot chicken sandwich. The cripsy, juicy chicken breast coated in a heavily seasoned chili dunk yielded a surprisingly flavorful bite. Despite the chicken quality, I did not love the sweet American style coleslaw that topped the sandwich nor the limp fries that arrived alongside. Service ran smoothly, as our waitress promptly took our orders, remained available throughout service, and even subbed out my wife's latte for no charge when she found the taste too sweet. Prices here are about $15-20 per entree which is standard for the Town Center and reasonable given portion sizes. Overall, Ted's remains a reliable option for a satisfying and consistent lunch or brunch, and we are glad to have a location so nearby.

As we were looking in trying to figure out what was going on, a young girl (I'm assuming she was the hostess) opens the door and says, "we're closed, we closed at 3, there's a sign right there"....I asked, why was I allowed to make a reservation at 3 if you were closing at that time? The time I was trying to get in the door was 3:03pm. She responded, "oh, you have a reservation?", I said yes, at 3pm....she then responded, "well, you're late, you had to be inside the door at 3pm" and closed the door and locked it again. I looked at my 88 year old mom, in case you didn't catch that the 1st time, and said what a rude, you know what, this girl was, and we proceeded to walk back to the car. My only critique of that would be, I wish it had the candied pecans that are listed as an ingredient on the menu, but the last 3 times I have had that salad, they have been missing. I also love the French onion soup there, as well as many of the appetizers. You really do not have to worry about getting a bad meal at Not Your Average Joe's, it's very reliable.

This hidden gem shines brighter than my tita when she hits a high score on the karaoke!…read more Solid spot for quick, vibey, Filipino eats. Side note: don't go here thinking you're about to get some traditional Filipino dishes. Come with an open mind and an empty tummy! You'll be pleasantly surprised. The space is spotless, easy on the eyes, and perfectly cozy - minimalist décor with just enough charm to make you want to stay awhile. There's plenty of seating for the whole fam (yes, even all your titos and titas). Only one kind gentleman was running the show during my visit, and let me tell you - he handled everything like a pro. Even with our big order, everything came out quickly and with a smile. Bonus points for the snacks, ready-to-eat treats, and vending machines to hold you over while you wait. But honestly, the food is worth every second. Now let's talk about some of the eats: * Ube waffle: light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet - the powdered sugar and ube syrup complemented the flavor instead of stealing the spotlight. The chicken tenders were well-seasoned and paired well with the waffle. Whole plate was aesthetically pleasing and delish! * Lumpia: absolute fire. My only regret? Not ordering a mountain of them. * Longanisa breakfast sandwich: solid and yummy, but I wouldn't write my lola about it. Egg cooked to perfection though! * Silog breakfast bowl: oh. my. GAWD. Flavor bomb! The garlic fried rice, tender pork, egg, and peppers all danced together like they were meant to be. I'd come back just for that bowl - and the lumpia, of course.
