Nice ambient interior, plenty of seating in different styled parts of the building, and the usual mini-bar. Everything we tasted (the most important part) was nice and fresh. They had fish featured from the Pacific Ocean instead of doing what I anticipated: flying fish in from way over in the Atlantic. Our server was very kind and informative about the menu. Place was packed- but the wait was not more then 15 minutes on a fairly busy night. Staff was polite, attentive, quick and made sure we were happy. Manager even spoke to us several times during the meal to make sure everything was perfect. Food was what you would expect- and the quality was decent. If only the food looked and tasted like in the pictures. The service was good, but that's about it. The bartender can't make a mojito to save his life. My mother and sister from Europe were visiting me and I chose to show them Red Lobster. So we went on a Saturday evening and were taken care off in a comfortable way. We had the pleasure to meet Shelby A. as our server that night and we're absolutely amazed. She knows how to do guest service in the best way. As college students, we hardly treat ourselves to meals like this, but we were surprised to find it was more affordable for us. This is the only seafood place I know next to Buster's which is more expensive. The restaurant looks very clean with the nice style of an coastal town. I am active in the hospitality scene, when I think back I can not remember anyone who had such a beautiful smile like Shelby A who was responsible for me that evening. My wife and I had the opportunity to dine at the Red Lobster restaurant in Flagstaff yesterday and have mixed feedback on our experience. The greeter and server were very friendly and polite, which was certainly a plus. We shared a dinner for two comprised of Lobster, steak, shrimp, and a number of sides. The Lobster tails were on the small side and were served without a side of butter, which was surprising. We requested the butter, however it was never delivered. The steaks were cooked to our liking: medium rare , but surprisingly tough. When we received the check, we were surprised to see an additional charge of $4.99 for a sauce on the mashed potatoes. There was no mention of that as an extra when ordering. Overall, for $74.00 plus tax and tip, on this particular visit I don't believe it was a particularly good value for our money. Perhaps it was just that particular meal that we ordered. I will certainly ask when ordering if anything we requested added an additional charge in the future. read more

Haven't been to Red Lobster in awhile. We will never go back. I knew some of the sides had extra charges. We were fine with that. But the size of the side relative to the price was absolutely ridiculous. I was literally shocked with our uncharge of $2.50 side of asparagus arrived with literally 4 pieces. My husband also paid $5.99 for the "lobster" mashed potatoes. I encouraged him to get it for something different/fun. Portion size was ridiculous and it was terrible. My side of broccoli was raw. My boys who will literally eat anything were not happy. I ordered wine and hadn't looked at menu and got a glass that looked very large to me. found out later without asking, he brought me the 9oz without asking if i wanted larger serving. Small in scheme of things, but overall feeling of trying to get every little penny in they could. We didn't complain. We tipped our waiter fairly. We are just done with Red Lobster. Never will return so many other local places with fresh food that deserve your business for better prices. read more

I almost didn't go to this red lobster because of the 3 star average review. The service was excellent; the restaurant is large with lots of seating so there was no wait. Raw oysters were excellent, lobster dishes were also very good. Even the chicken alfredo was good. We live in LA and have access to the best fresh seafood and we were very pleased with our meal. Its a chain restaurant yes. Shay was our server; best service we have had in many many years. Probably best drinks we've had at a chain. On the down side, two members of our group (the only two who ate clam chowder) came down with food poisoning that night. read more

We stopped here for dinner after a long day. They weew slow and we were seated quickly. We ordered our meals and our salads came out quick. Unfortunately there was a hair in mine and thr lettuce in my wife's was wilted and soggy, not crisp like it should be. I complained to the waitress about the hair and she brought out another salad but the rest of the meal was spent looking for hairs and anything else that shouldn't be there. That said, our fish meals were pretty good. We were just let down by the salads. read more

Let me start off by saying, I hate seafood. None-the-less, the people I was with love it. That being said, I haven't visited a Red Lobster in 10 years and was very pleased with how clean it was and how friendly the staff was. Because I'm not a seafood fan, I opted for the steak. Came in with my family on the spur of the moment after running some errands. Having only been to a Red Lobster once about 20 years ago, I figured why not give it a shot. Big mistake, I was not impressed at all. Once we got past the pretentious attitude of our waiter, he really wasn't bad; he was attentive, probably because we were seated right next to the server station so he couldn't not notice us. Food and drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but it was all down hill from there. I think I would have had more flavor eating the pictures from the menu; it just lacked flavor throughout (shrimp, broccoli, and rice with an Asian sauce - can't remember what they called it). The manager came out to tell my wife that it would be a few more minutes for her lobster tail because she just couldn't send it out the way they had cooked it so they were preparing another. The replacement finally arrived, overcooked and an absolute mess within a shell; it would have been better suited for a trash can than her plate. Overall, presentation lacked any care at all and was just plain sloppy, the food lacked flavor, and it was way overpriced. Maybe I'll try it again in 20 years. read more

I felt like I had gone back to the 50's while eating at Red Lobster. I ate here during a snow storm while my husband was working nearby out of necessity...it was right next door to our hotel. On a positive note, the service was very friendly and attentive; I give them five stars on that front. The food was in a word, sad. The Caesar salad was soggy and largely wilted. The grilled salmon and rice tasteless. I honestly regretted not buying the Lean Cuisine sold at my hotel's store for dinner as it would have been a more satisfying meal. Just went here last night. It wasn't bustling, but then again, it was a Sunday. I had a better-than-usual experience here. Friendly waitress who was willing to work with us on menu items. Frozen blended drinks that actually tasted like they had alcohol in them. A fresh blend of veggies in my tilapia tacos made them taste like I was eating a spring roll, too! The kids' menu with crayons actually had lots of fun things to look at and talk about. My wife's popcorn shrimp had this unusual (but pleasant) texture of tasting lightly fried without having breading so crunchy it would puncture one's upper palate. I don't know if we got lucky or if the new corporate ownership (Red Lobster was recently sold-off from Olive Garden) has helped. read more
