Swab the deck!

Arrr, ye bilge-suckin' swabs! The food be good--aye, hearty and tasty as a fresh-caught kraken steak! But the ambiance? Harrumph, maybe not so much, like a storm-ravaged deck after a nor'easter. Would it kill anyone to put a little elbow grease into makin' the pickup window a wee bit nicer? That blowin' fan be spewin' so much black residue all over the glass and the bell ye ring for service--'tis very eye-displeasin', like soot from Ol' Hob's chimney or the grime off me barnacle-crusted boots! Swab it clean, mates, or I'll be keelhaulin' meself elsewhere next time. Yo ho ho!

My husband and I tried Angie's lobster in Flagstaff. Seafood sounded really good. Although the Lobster roll and snow crab roll was good, we felt Angie's Lobster could have a better ordering system. We noticed they catered to the drive through more than than the walk up customers. They also have no people skills. They make you scan a QR code and place your order. No option to order in person. The email notification you receive is just the confirmation that you ordered and paid. There is no follow up to let you know your food is ready. They gave us a 10 minute wait time on the email. At the 10minute mark I rang the buzzer and they told me just a few more minutes. After waiting another 10mins I rang the buzzer again and they told me I had one more customer ahead of me. They didn't give me a time frame and he almost closed the window on me. When I interrupted him to give me a time frame. He then told me 3 minutes. At the 4 minute mark we finally got our food. There was a customer ahead of me that ordered for two and they said they were waiting for 35 mins. I witnessed other customers turning customers away. This is a sign that the staff and restaurant is poorly functioning. It's sad because they have a lot more potential. When I got my take out order they didn't ask or provide napkins, or ketchup for the fries. I don't know if I would be a returning customer? There are other options out there.

Food Poisoning!!! I got dinner here on 1/29. By the evening of 1/30 I got severely sick, by night it was coming out from both ends for 36 hours. I had cold crab sandwich and very impressed w pricing. It was tasty. It was my only meal in 24 hours. Still trying to recover from it. It was yummy. Wouldn't be eating here again. :(. There's other reviews bout the same sandwich and food poisoning. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the food.

Fried scallop roll. Outstanding. 5/5.

Angie's was a super surprise. We stopped on the way through Flagstaff on our way to Vegas. It was definitely the best food we grabbed along the way. A quick trip through the drive-thru and EXCELLENT prices ensure that whenever I'm near any of their locations again I will return.

Welcome to town! Good food, pleasant service, and a fun drive thru atmosphere. I enjoyed the butter lobster roll and I do mean, I enjoyed it. Large succulent pieces of lobster and a pouch of butter - a total treat. The roll itself was nothing to rave about, but with all that pottery lobster, who cares? I also liked watching the prep as I waited for my food. Can't wait to go back. NOTE: Angie's does not take cash.

Angie's is the future of fast food. Their menu is always changing and I haven't had a thing I don't like. Their concept of keeping everything cheap through non branded packaging, no indoor eating, cashless etc is fascinating. This specific angie's contains angies lobster, prime grill, and chicken. All so good. Big shoutout to the Berries and Cream energy drink which is to DIE FOR and I'm usually not a fan of energy drinks! The only reason I'm subtracting a star is because this is a newer location there are some things to fix. They sometimes forget sauces, sloppily wrap the wraps, and are out of things. I do however want to mention the workers interact with you (unlike the location I frequented in Phoenix) from what I've read they aren't really expected to hand you your food/drink (they would just put it on the window table) or even tell you to have a good day to reduce labor costs of having a "window" person. So I appreciate that!

A Masterclass in Modern American Fine Dining…read more My recent dinner at Atria in downtown Flagstaff was, quite simply, an exceptional experience from start to finish. Chef Rochelle Daniel has created a space that perfectly balances upscale elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a true standout in the region. We started the evening with their incredible oyster selection. The oysters with the cucumber granita were a masterclass in refreshing, clean flavors--a perfect, bright start to the meal. We also indulged in the oysters with caviar beurre blanc, which provided a stunning, decadent contrast; the richness of the beurre blanc paired with the briny pop of caviar was unforgettable. Another standout from the starters was the foie gras cornets--delicate, playful, and incredibly rich, they were a brilliant opening note for the palate. The beet salad was another highlight. Far from a simple starter, the charcoal-roasted preparation brought out a beautiful depth and earthiness, elevated by the perfect balance of creamy textures and crunchy toppings. For the main, the duck entrée was flawless. The skin was perfectly rendered, and the meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the kitchen's technical prowess. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Michael David Inkblot Cabernet Franc. It was a fantastic choice--bold and velvety with those classic notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice that held up beautifully against the richness of the duck and the earthiness of the beets. What truly elevated the presentation was the stunning pottery. Every dish was served on beautiful, locally crafted ceramic pieces that added a tactile, artisanal feel to the table. It's a thoughtful detail that grounds the high-end cuisine in the spirit of Northern Arizona. We finished the evening on a high note with a round of perfectly pulled espressos and the coconut macaroons. The macaroons were the ideal final bite--crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness to round out the experience. From the thoughtful presentation of every plate to the impeccable, knowledgeable service, everything about the evening felt intentional and memorable. Atria is not just a meal; it is a culinary experience that showcases the very best of Northern Arizona's ingredients. It is a must-visit.

Could barely finish my 20+$ drink. Bread was VERY crusty. Not fluffy, and coated in oil. Other than that the food was good. We picked this place because it was supposed to be the best in Flagstaff. We enjoyed it, service was good, the place itself is amazing. The bathroom smell was delicious but too potent. I loved being able to see the exposed kitchen area in the back!

So much so, they have been craving it and cannot find another place that tastes the same. I ordered their two fish taco special which was different than any other fish taco I've had, but very good! We also tried their corn and shrimp chowder which was amaaaaaazing! My son ordered the hurricane drink and said it was strong but very tasty. This place seemed like a little gem to the locals. Their customers seem very happy to be there and the guys running it are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming in if you're in the area. They have something for everyone. Four stars for the food... five stars for Scott…read more We wandered into Tiki Grill and ordered the Pittsburgh Burger, because honestly, who can resist a burger stacked high with fries and coleslaw? It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. So here's the official scorecard: Food: Four Stars Onion rings: 5 Stars Ratatouille: 5 Stars Scott just being Scott: 6 stars (if Yelp allowed) Bottom line: go for the onion rings, stay for the ratatouille, and enjoy meeting Scott. Some restaurants have good food. This one has good people, and that's a recipe worth returning for.

We missed the happy hour and took a venture down the main menu. We started off with several drinks ( my Hugo was light and refreshing) and then got the whipped ricotta appetizer and the calamari appetizer. The whipped ricotta was light fluffy, and divine. For main courses our family had the chicken Parmesan, which came with a nice and large chicken portion as well as the chicken pesto pasta with pinenuts, which was my favorite. We were stuffed.
