If you want a fresh locally sourced char-broiled burger on English muffin stop by this spot next time you're in flagstaff. Small place but well worth it. Fries are amazing as well. You won't be disappointed. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.

Really good burger they put it on an english muffin instead of a bun and it makes a nice diffeeence! The burger patty cooked to perfection and the staff is funny and entertaining i really liked the vibe as well it's very divey and probably best burger i had in arizona!

The food is very well made and sourced from local sources. Definitely not of the Sysco truck. The service is order at the counter and bring the food to your table but the staff is very friendly and helpful. I thought the English Muffin instead of the bun would be kinda weird but it actually works. The patty was well seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium rare and since it's grass fed it would be dry if it wasn't. Both the cheese and bacon were very good as well. All the burgers come with fries. Fries that are almost stick like and seasoned with rosemary. Think Smashburger fries. And you get a lot. Too many actually. There were enough fries for two. An average burger and fries runs about $20 and drinks another $3-5. They do have a special which is a 4 ounce burger instead of 6 and you get one cheese choice and sauce for about $12. The inside seating is sparse as there are on 3 tables that each seat 6 in fairly uncomfortable chairs but they do have more tables outside. Is it worth the premium price for the premium quality? That's something you need to decide. But it's definitely worth trying to find out.

My friend randomly found this on Google and after looking at the menu, was intrigued with the egg muffin buns. We opted to share the senor smoke burger which came with fries and we added a Mexican coke (surprisingly priced very well at $2.75!) and chimichurri sauce. We sat outside in the communal tables enjoying the nice weather. We had asked the burger to be cooked medium, but it did look a bit medium rare. There was a ton of fries and at first we thought they gave us extra since we were sharing, but it seemed like it was the normal portion looking around (which is nice considering the combo is nearly $20!). The burger was tasty, but I made it halfway when I realized the lettuce and tomato was still sitting in the basket. Since the egg muffin bun is a bit smaller in diameter, there was no room to add the veggies so off it went. Definitely messy, and the bathrooms are located inside the shopping plaza. Fries were tossed in rosemary (and maybe some other herbs) - it was a bit soft for me, but they paired very well with the chimichurri sauce.

SO TASTY. This place is fabulous and everything was fresh and so crave worthy. Dog friendly on the patio- just ordered inside. Love that. The service was quick and everyone was extremely kind. This is a must stop if you're visiting flagstaff!

For mt first time in Flagstaff before my visit I checked for restaurants that served grass-fed burgers and Diablo Burger was at the top of the list. This was the first place I visited after checking into the hotel. I was starving since I didn't eat breakfast before the 2 hour plus drive. I ordered the Señor Smoke. They cook the burgers medium rare unless you tell them differently. I ordered my burger medium. My sister and I sat outside on the patio. All tables are community seating so we were able to sit with a really nice family. It took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. The presentation made my eyes bulge out their sockets like how they do on the cartoons. I was licking my lips ready to devour everything on my plate. First bite the burger was excellent. So juicy and flavor-packed. I savored every bite. The English muffin was soft. The lettuce and pickle were fresh with a nice crisp. The tomato was juicy and so good. Let's get to the fresh cut fries. I loved them. There were so many. A basket full. They are cooked in peanut oil so anyone with an allergy beware. I also added a side of chimichurri sauce for dipping. Everything tasted amazing. I ate my entire burger and basket of fries and was extremely happy afterwards. With several burger choices I have to make sure to stop there the next time I'm in town ro try a different one.

On a recent visit to Flagstaff, I was eager to stop in and try Diablo Burger, I opted to do the build your own burger, making mine with sharp cheddar, grilled onions, grilled avocado, and roasted garlic, all stacked high without a spread. The grilled avocado added a smoky richness that complimented the sharp cheddar very well. The roasted garlic was the perfect touch I didn't know I needed. I sat outside. The cashier was super friendly and made the ordering process easy and welcoming. Great service, great burger, and a solid spot for a casual bite.

Never tried burger with English muffins before, and it was a pretty good experience! We got DB house and traveling wilburys, both were delicious and came with fries. I loved the seasoning of fries, the size was generous. You can choose the temperature of patties, we chose medium rare but it was a little bit dry, flavor wise was good though. The staff were kind and nice to guide us to outdoor seating.

Small local place with a creative burger menu. There was a line to order, but they texted us when it was ready in about twenty minutes. Ordered the Marilyn and DB 4U, and worth the wait! The frites are so good. They also have a small lids menu. Some outdoor seating - seasonal based on the weather

A unique spin on a burger using an English muffin as the bread- casing that that grill top. I ordered the Senior Smoke which contains ancho grilled onions, grilled avocado, bacon, cilantro, and sriracha mayo. The structure is a little all over the place so grab some utensils for this bit. I wish the bacon was crispier (and perhaps more of it) to give some more depth to the burger. I love avocado so I had no complaints there but it slides out of the muffins after that first bite. Overall, a good casual spot to grab a bite.

I ordered the Cobb salad and it was legitimately one of the best salads I've had on the road -- fresh, flavorful, generous portions, and just overall excellent. The food here is outstanding. Unfortunately we were on a tight schedule so I didn't get a chance to try any of their beers, which was a bummer. Next time I'm definitely making time for a pint or two. The atmosphere is great -- lively and welcoming with a nice brewery vibe. Just a heads-up: there's a railway very close by, so it can get pretty loud if you're sitting outside. It didn't bother me at all, but if you're there for good food and conversation, I'd recommend grabbing a table inside. Once you're indoors the noise shouldn't be an issue. Overall, fantastic spot with amazing food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping by if you're passing through Flagstaff!

We popped in on a Monday morning hoping to score some great grub and we certainly found some! Cubano ($20.95) - Starting with the bread - it's really fluffy, not toasted or pressed as with usual cubanos. Unfortunately, it's probably a little too light for the sandwich because some parts get mushy from being soaked in all the dijonnaise. The dijonnaise is very sweet, creamy with a mustardy zing. I think they add a bit too much, making the sandwich more fatty and messy to eat than I like (not to mention what I stated before about it soaking into the bread). The meat is fantastic. Both porchetta and ham are griddled on the flat top, giving them a developed and concentrated edge. The ham is to the point of being like country ham, while the porchetta still has great seasoned porky flavor. I believe they griddle the swiss cheese alongside the meat. It melts and crisps up into a cheese skirt, adding a fantastic texture to the sandwich. There's a lot of crinkle cut pickles underneath the meat, but it's not enough acid to cut through all that fat. Sandwiches come with a side of house chips. They are fried until a darker golden brown color, but aren't burnt. This gives a great kettle chip-like crunch. Even with different sized chips, they are very evenly fried with all chips being the same texture. They are salted the perfect amount. (4/5) Aleppo Pepper Pastrami sub Tomato Soup ($22.75) - This place is famous for their pastrami, and I can tell the quality. It's cooked on the griddle until it develops crisp edges. It's fatty, but the fat is rendered so there are no chewy and leathery parts. The meat is extremely tender and thinly sliced. It's honestly almost like bacon in texture, but the taste is completely different, with the exterior spices and pepper making a huge impact along with the rich concentrated meatiness inside. The bread is a nice toasted sourdough, not strongly sour in flavor, but definitely noticeable. The bottom slice is slathered with plenty of nopales studded cream cheese. It's added in a large amount and is an extremely creamy and fatty substance yet somehow doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It's warm but not melty. The nopales are clearly there but I didn't find it to contribute much. The pastrami is layered on top of that followed by a ton of sweet brown caramelized onions that are very tender. An entire green chile, roasted and super smoky, is above that. Finally, aleppo mustard is spread on the top slice of bread. Between the green chile and the aleppo, there's a slight warmth that tinges the sandwich. It's nothing too spicy. Instead of chips, we opted to sub the Tomato Soup (no fee). It's very homestyle, full of tomato richness in a thick blend. It has a strong tangy tomato essence. There's basil oil drizzled on top for a boost of freshness. The soup is unfortunately quite a bit too acidic for my tastes, but that's only by itself! While very acidic, the soup is actually great as a balance to the sandwich (along with the pickle of course) since there's so much richness and fat coming in between the bread. (5/5) Proper Meats + Provisions definitely serves some great sandwiches. We were considering visiting again for our 2 full days in Flagstaff, but weren't able to make it because they close so early at 6!
