Pizza Flatbread - each pizza is approx 12x5" but could be a tag wider at 6". Don't quote me.. lol - So delicious!!!
    Valerie S.

This place has a welcoming warm environment filled with lots of living plants and butcher style components. On the menu are various options including log flatbread style pizzas, a build your own option, freshly made salads, chicken tenders, large wedges style french fries, subs, breading, various desserts, soda options, water, non alcoholic beers and more. During our visit here my family and I opted for various menu items. Pizza, garlic knots, salads, chicken tenders and fries. While the salads look so good and sound amazing, the dressings did not dress the salad well. The vinegar undertones for the "zesty Italian" misses the Zesty.. It was sadly underwhelming but the salad components were fresh and crunchy as one would desire. My daughter ordered the arugulas orchid salad and she also said the dressing was lacking and was not helping. Plus some ingredients were missing from her salad as they ran out. The pizza on the other hand is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it! The under carriage is perfectly crisp and the toppings are fresh and placed with love. The bite into the pizza has me drooling even thinking about it. (The young male chef- did tell me he was departing so hopefully whomever they hire next in his spot won't disappoint). The garlic knots were phenomenal and were loved by everyone including my littlest and most pickiest eater. They come with a side of marinara and to be clear - the garlic knots alone were worthy even without the dipping sauce. The chicken tenders were ok, and the potato wedges were super thick and unfortunately came to us a bit raw.. so we opted to not eat them, even though we were offered a fix. Urban Pine Eatery's bathroom is spacious and cute and has a lock for consumer privacy. The bathroom is labeled both genders (male/female.) The seating ranges from pub style (up high) to table side (standard sizing) and while the inside is small and cozy, there is also outdoor seating along the street next to the building. All tables are 4-tops unless you steal a seat from another table. The only extra seating available for a family of more than 4 is the pub style seating facing outdoors like a lineup. If my memory serves me right, there are 7-8 seats along there. Overall - I would truly recommend this little spot for pizza and garlic bread. While the menu is on the pricier side $12 for a single 12"x4" flatbread and $9 for approx 8 small bread knots - those two options are remarkable. *Removed one star due to missing salad ingredient, watered down dressing and potato wedges being undercooked and raw.

The service was good, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean, albeit a bit small. The menu isnt too big but the food is good. It's worth a visit if you are in the area.

What a pleasant experience! We came on a Saturday afternoon after shopping downtown Flagstaff. The restaurant is cute, cozy and stylish. I love the whole design of the inside. On a nice day, it would be beautiful to sit outside too and people watch. My sis and I shared a chicken parm sandwich, fries and Caesar salad. The seasoning on top of the sandwich bread was top notch and really added a tasty kick to it! The flatbreads also looked incredible so I'll be sure to come back for that. For such a busy place, it was clean and tidy. They even cleared our table after we ate so we could enjoy our drinks for a bit before leaving. They were on top of it!

This was a great place for a late lunch in Flagstaff. Even around 3:30 (not lunch/not dinner) the place had a steady stream of customers. It's a simple menu of salads, subs and flatbread pizzas. I got the super food boost salad that came with lots of veggies, black beans and quinoa. I've been on the road for several days so it hasn't been easy to find fresh, whole foods when dining out. The salad was so good and just what my body needed. They have cute woodsy decor and the place is immaculately clean. It's locally owned and has street parking in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. So glad I had a chance to check them out while stopping in the area for a few days.

    Caesar salad flatbread

This place was good and I'm glad we ate here. We ordered two flatbreads and one salad. I had the Hail Caesar flatbread + chicken and it was pretty good. The cashier seemed very unfriendly and unwelcoming when taking our orders but was a lot nicer when dropping off our food. We sat outside and it was a great time. My friends both enjoyed their food as well. Bathroom was very clean!

I'm in flagstaff visiting for the weekend in this place is legit. The service was excellent and staff were friendly. We ordered a couple things and the food was excellent. The marinara sauce was beyond delicious. Overall, I would recommend this place. The ambience was similar to a diner.

Inside had woodsy walls. Staff good, order and they bring to you. Missed the HH sign for 1/2 salad, though $11 is a decent price for feta, arrugala ( I prefer them chopped) & walnuts. Fig dressing skimpy but ok.

This is flatbread and sub shop in the middle of downtown Flagstaff. Downtown Flagstaff parking cost $1 per hour. Their flatbreads come in 6" or 12." I tried out their sweet heat flatbread and chicken parmesan sub with truffle fries. Sure, the portions are smaller than other restaurants but it more than makes up for it in the quality of ingredients. I thought that the old world pepperonis were a nice touch as I like those more than the normal pepperonis. Service was very amiable as well. Our bill for two came out to $32.30.

    Unsweetened peach tea

Had a great and very quick lunch here. The fountain drinks are huge - the unsweetened peach tea was a good. I don't usually drink unsweetened tea, but the peach flavor made it very palatable. I had the small Tuscan Sunset flatbread and loved the flavor. My husband did a build your own salad. He said it was excellent - especially the fresh heirloom tomatoes.

12 inch build your own flatbread
    John K.

We ordered a 12 inch build your own flatbread. We chose pesto for our sauce, fresh mozzarella as our cheese, chicken for our protein, basil and black olives as our vegetables, and to drizzle on top was fig juice. The flatbread was amazing. Unfortunately parts of the flatbread got burnt otherwise I would have given a 5. Maybe if their flatbread itself was thicker perhaps it would not have burned. We sat outside on the street since it was a beautiful evening. The gals behind the counter were so sweet and helpful. Fun vibe happening at this restaurant.

What an adorable place with great sandwiches. Actually they have flatbreads and salads too. The decor definitely reflects the name. Adorable. I loved my hot hammy and cheese sub which was dressed with Italian vinaigrette, tomatoes and lettuce. And the bread was delicious as well. Choice of salad or fries with sandwiches. I got a Caesar salad. Very good but way too much pepper on it.

We got the Tuscan flatbread, the classic flatbread and my husband got the meatball sub. All the food was very good with a nice crisp on the bottom and beautiful bright fresh ingredients. I loved the atmosphere with fresh green hanging plants in macrame hangers and beautiful pine cutting board art on the walls. They have big windows to watch the bustling historic downtown and enjoy a nice meal with family. The staff was very friendly and working hard

What is the parking like? Is it pay parking only?

Lots of street parking near the restaurant

    Are dogs allowed?

    Yes, in the patio seating.

    Do they offer vegan cheese?

Matthew, I'm sorry. We do not serve vegan cheese. I'm plant based myself but not vegan. I've done alot of research and the vegan cheese is not so great regarding health wise. I understand some have strict vegan diets though.

It was creamy and flavorful, without being too overwhelming. Usually, it can be tiring to eat a full cream pasta, but this was well balanced and had me wanting more. Spaghetti and meatballs were disappointing. Bland and a little watery for my taste. Meatballs were dry. Would not recommend getting this as there are way better dishes. Tiramisu is light and fluffy. We popped in on a Monday morning hoping to score some great grub and we certainly found some! Cubano ($20.95) - Starting with the bread - it's really fluffy, not toasted or pressed as with usual cubanos. Unfortunately, it's probably a little too light for the sandwich because some parts get mushy from being soaked in all the dijonnaise. The dijonnaise is very sweet, creamy with a mustardy zing. I think they add a bit too much, making the sandwich more fatty and messy to eat than I like (not to mention what I stated before about it soaking into the bread). The meat is fantastic. Both porchetta and ham are griddled on the flat top, giving them a developed and concentrated edge. The ham is to the point of being like country ham, while the porchetta still has great seasoned porky flavor. I believe they griddle the swiss cheese alongside the meat. It melts and crisps up into a cheese skirt, adding a fantastic texture to the sandwich. There's a lot of crinkle cut pickles underneath the meat, but it's not enough acid to cut through all that fat. Sandwiches come with a side of house chips. They are fried until a darker golden brown color, but aren't burnt. This gives a great kettle chip-like crunch. Even with different sized chips, they are very evenly fried with all chips being the same texture. They are salted the perfect amount. (4/5) Aleppo Pepper Pastrami sub Tomato Soup ($22.75) - This place is famous for their pastrami, and I can tell the quality. It's cooked on the griddle until it develops crisp edges. It's fatty, but the fat is rendered so there are no chewy and leathery parts. The meat is extremely tender and thinly sliced. It's honestly almost like bacon in texture, but the taste is completely different, with the exterior spices and pepper making a huge impact along with the rich concentrated meatiness inside. The bread is a nice toasted sourdough, not strongly sour in flavor, but definitely noticeable. The bottom slice is slathered with plenty of nopales studded cream cheese. It's added in a large amount and is an extremely creamy and fatty substance yet somehow doesn't overwhelm the sandwich. It's warm but not melty. The nopales are clearly there but I didn't find it to contribute much. The pastrami is layered on top of that followed by a ton of sweet brown caramelized onions that are very tender. An entire green chile, roasted and super smoky, is above that. Finally, aleppo mustard is spread on the top slice of bread. Between the green chile and the aleppo, there's a slight warmth that tinges the sandwich. It's nothing too spicy. Instead of chips, we opted to sub the Tomato Soup (no fee). It's very homestyle, full of tomato richness in a thick blend. It has a strong tangy tomato essence. There's basil oil drizzled on top for a boost of freshness. The soup is unfortunately quite a bit too acidic for my tastes, but that's only by itself! While very acidic, the soup is actually great as a balance to the sandwich (along with the pickle of course) since there's so much richness and fat coming in between the bread. (5/5) Proper Meats + Provisions definitely serves some great sandwiches. We were considering visiting again for our 2 full days in Flagstaff, but weren't able to make it because they close so early at 6!
