Update: We still love Fat Olives. Our bartender (Isla) last night was a real sweetheart and a darn good mixoligist too. We enjoyed cocktails, a couple Caesars, and a Ms Piggy pizza. Everything was great per usual. The space was lively and everyone was having a good time.

We found this Based on a local PBS show we saw on you tube and not Triple D. It has a rating from Naples that claims their pizzas are made authentic. I it is fun to see them toss the dough in front of you. Probably the best Margarita pizza I've ever had. We also had a burrata chile infused side dish. That was great. Service was wonderful I see why people come here. The happy hour was very generous with discount prices on drinks and some items. I'm giving it a 4 because I don't understand why they charged a 4% flagstaff service fee. We originally thought it was a city thing they couldn't help. We ate at two other places and were not charged this fee. And again I feel like restaurants should put this information on menu at the door on the table ahead of time if they are going to do it.

I enjoyed everything about Fat Olives! We were seated at the bar and I'm so glad we were. The bartender was amazing. You can tell she truly loves her job. She made great drinks (I tried the mule with house made limoncello and strawberry) and provided excellent service. We tried the Cesar salad, lasagna and pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh and the pizza was wood fired to perfection.

    Caprese appetizer

Stayed the night in Flagstaff overnight and the hotel front desk recommended Fat Olives and it was amazing! So much food for one person but I gave it my best shot. The Caprese dish was so refreshing and the Chicken Parmesan was the BEST I've ever had. Service and ambience was exceptional. I will definitely be back with my friends next time.

Fat Olives is a great Italian restaurant located in Flagstaff. The parking lot is extremely small and easy to miss when driving but. Fat Olives is extremely busy and if you don't make a reservation, the wait can be a few hours. Make a reservation days ahead. With all that being noted, I have been to Fat Olives many times throughout the years and they have never failed to deliver the quality they are known for. Even though it is extremely busy, the service is fantastic. Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive and the atmosphere while lively was extremely calming. Fat Olives is known for their pizza, they have a brick oven from Italy and it makes a complete difference. I ordered the Fat Olives pizza and added prosciutto (not baked in, added afterwards). While it has ricotta on it, the pizza was "dangerously" light (easy to eat the whole thing in one sitting). The flavors are fresh and the tomato sauce was the perfect level of acidity. Someone else in my group ordered the Pesto Spaghetti, the spaghetti comes coated with a perfect amount of pesto and two crispy pieces of prosciutto. The spaghetti also is "dangerously" light and it is extremely flavorful and fresh. If you are feeling like eating pasta, this one is the way to go.

Visited the restaurant on Saturday, super busy even it's 1.30pm, way past lunch time. This review was for the arugula salad and pesto ham pizza (ms piggy). The pizza and salad were big portion. I like the sweet pecan bits on the salad, the salad dressing was light and refreshing. Pesto pizza was delicious with the ham and pesto sauce. We waited for 30 minutes to get seated, once we placed our order, the food came out quick within 10 minutes. Overall good food, quick and friendly service. Will be back soon for other things in the menu

Fat Olives is the must visit Italian restaurant in Flagstaff. It's a quaint and ethnic dining area with an open view of the kitchen. Very Italian in the feel and lighting. There's plenty of room but the place gets packed. The servers and waiting staff are great. I had the meatball appetizer and they were fabulous!!! The Miss Piggy pizza is a creamy pesto pie with mortadella bacon crumble and caramelized onions. I enjoyed that pizza, especially the Neapolitan style crust thin inside with puffy crust. Terrific!!! I came because I visited place Guy Fieri visited on Diners Drive ins and Dives. This one was a good find, a strongly recommend you come enjoy this gem joint.

Service by Isaac was great! Came for weekday dinner and seated at pizza bar on walk in. Market salad with smoked salmon - great to have fresh Parmesan Diavola pizza - a bit oily for me and the crust was hard, perhaps a bit overcooked Lasagna - fresh tomato flavor - personally would've liked a bit more veggies like mushroom Pistachio gelato - very pistachio tasting! Would like to try blood orange sorbet or tiramisu next time

Came across Fat Olives on Yelp and saw the amazing reviews from customers and having been reviewed by Guy Fieri & the Food Network... so we had to try it for ourselves. Casual dining experience with a family feel. Their pizzas and scracciatella were amazing with so much flavor and vibrancy! Our server Issac and all the other staff were so kind and helpful with this being our first visit. We hope to be back later this week!

I love Guy Fieri, so I had to come eat here on my most recent trip to Flagstaff. Even on a Monday night, this place hardly had any reservations available but were able to accommodate us last minute since we came in early (around 4:30 pm). Ambiance here is cozy and inviting, what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant. Their happy hour specials were great - a strong margarita for $5.50? Yes please. We were able to get a few rounds of those while waiting for the rest of the party to show up. We kicked things off with the burrata appetizer which was delicious and packed with prosciutto. I had to get the Belgio Dolce pizza, which Guy ate, as my main. What a mix of flavors - Brussel sprouts, Calabrian chili, Soppressata plus honey drizzle? Yes please. Waitstaff was incredibly accommodating as well. 10/10 spot if you're in the area.

Didn't have to wait for a table during lunch time. - Adovada 3.1/5 Honestly, it's such a basic pizza. The tomato sauce doesn't stand out, the dough tastes good but it flops a lot in the middle. The toppings were scarce. The cooked onions on top made the pizza pretty sweet. Not spicy at all. Not sure how they got 5th place international with this pizza. - Spaghetti & Meatballs 2.3/5 Super basic spaghetti and meatballs. They don't give you enough sauce, had to ask for more. The meatballs are just basic, nothing special. Lacked seasoning. The house salad was recommended over the Caesar salad but couldn't even taste the dressing! - Tiramisu 1.9/5 Not enough espresso/coffee taste, the mascarpone was too much. Comes in a jar.

Fat Olives is my main motivation to return to Flagstaff. A celebrated treasure featured on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives, my main question was- is it worth the hype? Truly, if I had it my way, I would have tried a new dish here everyday of our stay! As I write this, I still long to try their desserts, so yes, I believe it is. The best decision of our trip was sitting at the pizza bar. At the pizza bar, you're able to watch the construction and execution of each dish, smell the scent of fresh tomato, hear each chop of the knife, and take in the magic that is the handcrafted woodfire oven. At the pizza bar, you're able to indulge in the bustling flow of the kitchen, but most importantly, at the pizza bar, you're able to converse with the chef. While casually twirling pizza dough on one hand, chef recommended we try a dish that we couldn't order anywhere else, so we did. A red pepper tapenade was the dish of the day, and this twist featuring red peppers, artichoke hearts and more served as the perfect appetizer to the kenai pizza. I can describe the flavor no better than Guy Fieri himself, so I won't attempt to, but it's certainly worth ordering. Too full to indulge in dessert, I'll be back! If you had any hesitation in visiting, I'd recommend visiting for lunch to avoid long wait times (we were seated immediately) and bringing a few friends as the pies feed 2 more or less. There are a lot of pizza options in Flagstaff. If you're willing to spend the calories, spend them here, where it counts.

First time here, seated promptly, clean bathrooms....a must in a classy place like this. Appetizer came out fast ....whoe.....meals were out before we finished moshing on the appetizer!!! Our waiter checked often on us food was delicious!!! Meatballs tender, right amount of spice, for me, spaghetti tender and delicious with meat sauce Chicken salad sandwich very tasty, (wife's selection) I tried it, ummmmm!! Pasta salad, lacked seasoning, but very good. We really enjoyed or dinner, though we were closer to lunch
