I've never been to a Texas Roadhouse this was my first and last time. Staff were very friendly but they are a very busy restaurant so you have to wait if you need something. The place is LOUD. We received rolls and cinnamon butter shortly after being seated - they were the highlight of the meal. We ordered 3 dinners: Prime Rib rare, 6oz Sirloin rare, NY med rare. Prime Rib was fairly tender and rare - my son said it was good. Sirloin: served medium not rare and so glad I ordered the 6oz - it was dry and chewy. I used the AuJus from the Prime Rib to eat NY was tough like hard to slice and very dry. I question whether it was a NY and it should have been sent back. Salads: Caesar was very good and I had a dinner salad with Honey Mustard. Both were good I was quite disappointed as it wasn't a low cost meal. Flagstaff is my old stomping grounds from college in the 70s so a stop here is full of nostalgia. Sadly most of the restaurants we frequented are gone and our favorite was closed so we opted for Texas Roadhouse where we have dined a few times in Las Vegas. Large parking lot shared by the neighboring mini mall but parking was tough. Upon entering we were greeted by happy smiling faces and were seated after a breif but puzzling wait while the greeter chatted with a guy at the front. Not a big deal but odd. Our waitress was efficient and brought drinks while we perused the menu. Per the wife her margarita was excellent. My diet coke was sickly sweet as the mixture seemed to be off. She wished it away for a coke zero, not sure of the difference, but it was better. Rolls and honey butter were placed on the table. Rolls had obviously been sitting out for a while and were stale and barely warm. Not up to Texas Roadhouse standards at all. A real shame as I usually love these. Oh well. I ordered the bone in ribeye medium rare with baked potato sour cream and butter. I was asked if I wanted the bacon bits and cheese, sure. Wife ordered the California chicken. She was asked if she wanted the onions and mushrooms on it. She asked if they came with it and was told salsa. Sure. Steak came cooked a little over done on the thin side but perfect medium rare near the small bone. Well seasoned and delicious. The potato was warm, not hot with a half teaspoon on cheese and 5 bacon bits. Hmmm. I asked for extra butter to make it better. No problem. It was ok. The chicken was a huge breast with avocado, onions and mushrooms. The onions and mushrooms were very salty and she ate maybe half. She did receive an enormous sweet potato that with my extra butter was good. Attentive waitress asked about butter and kept my coke filled. You don't get a check up bring it up on the little obnoxious table tablet that advertises specials and games you have to pay for. To our suprise we were charged extra for the minute amount of cheese and bacon as well as the salty mushrooms and onions. Hmm. No one to talk with about it as the obnoxious tablet does not respond to questions. Nor does it give paper receipts. It's either give your email or no receipt. Now I have to contend with the spam. Not happy. On our way out I was not asked if I was happy but they smiled and waved. I explained about the tiny amount of cheese and bacon for which I was charged extra without my knowledge. "Oh you could have asked any of us for more"! Not the point. My meal was ok. Wife's was barely edible. I guess all Texas Roadhouses do not maintain the same quality. Pass in the future. read more

I dined at this Flagstaff, Arizona location in November 2025 with a large group, and our experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. After we were seated, we waited over an hour for our food despite asking several times about our order. During that time, we watched other patrons arrive, receive their meals, eat, and leave while our group continued to be ignored. When our food finally arrived, it was cold--the steak, broccoli, and essentially everything on our plates. What made the experience especially troubling was the difference in how our group appeared to be treated compared with other customers. Our entire group consisted of people of color, and from what we observed, the customers who were being served promptly were not. I cannot speak to anyone's intentions, but I can speak to what we personally experienced and witnessed, and the disparity in service left us feeling that our race played a role in how we were treated. We came prepared to pay for our meals and expected the same basic level of service and respect as every other paying customer. Instead, we left feeling ignored, disrespected, and discriminated against. No customer should have to wonder whether the color of their skin is the reason they are receiving worse service. read more

Went with my girlfriend, she has wanted to try Texas roadhouse and can't find one in southern California so since we were in flagstaff she wanted to try it. Busy Saturday night but we only had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Server was great, came to take drink orders and returned for our main course selections. We ordered prime rib and ribeye steak. Unfortunately they ran out of prime rib so we ended up sharing the ribeye It was great because with the rolls, rib appetizer, and sides we couldn't finish the steak. Would have wasted meat if we had both the prime rib and steak. Food was good, well prepared, cooked to order, and seasoned great. My girlfriend was a super fan of the rolls and even took some home in a doggy bag. Prices were very reasonable, and with not getting the prime rib i got off cheap. Atmosphere was good and service was good. However, I ordered the Porterhouse Medium Rare. The first time it came out pretty much well done with my wife's food. The server saw it and wanted to send it back because that's not how I ordered it, and after all it was their top of the line steak.... 20 minutes later the second attempt came out pretty much cooked the same... There must be one temperature gauge setting back there ;) Anyhow, they apologized and ended up comping the steak. But, I didn't get the meal I wanted or was waiting for.... I went in and put ny name on the waitlist - I asked for an estimate and they gave me one.. I waited for the duration of the estimate and then went back to check-in asking for an updated time.. I know that it's hard to predict when tables will become available, but the updated time was actually longer than the first estimate.. Overall, the staff were really friendly and apologetic, and it felt like there might be an issue with the kitchen or something out of their control, but I think that it would have made it easier to understand if they had just let us know. Ordered online for pickup. You have to walk up to the window which makes it a little redundant to "check in" with the app. They dont bring food to you or have parking set aside for "to go" orders. My daughter ordered the 6oz steak with mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The noodles weren't fully cooked and the steak was more about 4 than 6 oz. I got the shrimp sidekick for $8.49.... I will show a pic... nor worth that price for what you get. Comes with a roll that has butter on it also. Was tasty but not worth the price. $5.48 for a side of loaded mashed potatoes but of course was tasty. Our party of 6, during dinner were seated in what appeared to be an enclosed patio, which only had one exit and no ventilation. When our food arrived we were told they were out of mashed potatoes and would need to make more. My husband opted to wait, they took his plate to the kitchen, when it returned the potatoes were hot, but his initial food was cold. My son's chicken fried steak was gray in color and the breading was falling off, he refused it. Both caesar salads did not have croutons. When we asked for salt and pepper, our server brought out 2 condiment cups with the salt and pepper because they didn't have enough shakers, he finally found some. I love Texas Roadhouse in Maryland so we thought this location would be good. Sadly it wasn't. We had a party of 7. We called agead on the waitlist. We ended up still waiting another 40 minutes AFTER we checked-in. My husband got the last prime rib so that was a plus, but the rest of our party did not care for the cooking of our steaks. We were waiting to be seated at Texas Roadhouse, and my younger brother (who's just a kid) politely asked the hostess when we would be seated. Instead of answering respectfully, the hostess--brown hair in a bun, wearing gold earrings, and no name tag--looked right at him and said, "When you're seated," in a snarky, extremely sassy tone. Completely uncalled for. We understand that restaurants get busy, but there's never an excuse for being rude--especially to a child who's just asking a simple question. The lack of basic courtesy and the attitude she gave left a really bad impression. We love Texas Roadhouse for the food, but this kind of treatment at the front of house is unacceptable.
