Had the best experience at Bigfoot! The food was excellent and the service from the entire staff was top tier. Sophia and Julia took our orders at the front and were so helpful and knowledgeable with the menu items. Jason came by and checked on us and made sure everything came out great. We would highly recommend coming here and supporting your local flagstaff business! read more

Full transparency haven't tried the barbecue yet... Happen to be strolling around in this interesting old town shops location in Flagstaff. Walking downstairs to look at some shops lo and behold they have this hidden barbecue spot/bar. Even better it was happy hour and I can't even lie. It's insane. So stopped and had a Mexican mule for $6!!!!! It was delicious and the staff was incredible. Big shout out to Jason the GM, Izabella and Sidney for the amazing and beautiful service. Definitely have to go check out this hidden nugget read more

Very good BBQ. Recommended. The portions are huge. They take a pride in their BBQ! read more

Food - bland but spicy and over priced. Service - even worse than the food. Brisket tastes like it was soaked in water, ribs very tough, beans spicy, pork bland, corn bread with honey and butter best part of the meal. read more

We heard mixed reviews about Bigfoot BBQ but we still wanted to give it a try! The place is pretty spacious. It's a counter-order, seat yourself vibe. They have a table in the dining area with 3 or 4 different self serve BBQ sauces + ketchup. There are lots of TV's, so it would be a great place to sit and watch a sports game, if that's your vibe. The girls at the counter were friendly and helpful. We ended up splitting BBQ nachos topped with brisket. The brisket is available on the nachos with an up-charge. The nachos were tasty, but the brisket was not worth it.... It tasted great, but they really skimped on the meat for the nachos. I felt that it was not worth the price.. Then we got a peach cobbler topped with ice cream and their chocolate cake. Both were great. It's hard to say which was better! I did like how crisp the top of the cobbler was. Sometimes cobbler tends to be soggy, but that was not the case here! All in all, I would eat here again, but I would not order the nachos with brisket again, as I felt that they were not worth the price. read more

Bigfoot BBQ - Barbeque Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Big Foot BBQ is one of those spots that just feels right the second you walk in. It's got that perfect grungy, no-frills BBQ joint vibe: old hockey sticks on the wall, peanuts out, and just an overall laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while. The food definitely backs it up too. Everything I've had has been solid, but the pulled pork sandwich is easily my favorite. Super flavorful, cooked just right, and hits every time. It's the kind of place where you know exactly what you're getting in a good way. Order at the counter service to dine-in but they also have good catering which hits the spot on the go! read more

This place is phenomenal. We had pulled pork brisket for ribs- the meat here is KILLER! I haven't had bbq this good for a long time. Nothing we got was mediocre. An exception dining experience. I recommend this place to anybody. read more

Pretty bad. Ribs tough and probably reheated too many times. Chicken was tough and tasted old. Never been there before and been wanting to try it for a while. Now I know. read more

A bit of a challenge to find, but the rewards are worth it. The service was top notch and the food was cooked perfectly. This will definitely be a drop-in spot when we come through Flagstaff again. read more

BBQ was good. Atmosphere was quirky. Was surprised when I paid and was not asked to tip. I asked for a receipt to find two charges not disclosed before paying. 1. A 3% service fee, for? 2. A 14.5 % tip and extra $8.70 on a $39 charge. I don't mind tipping and I would have tipped 20%. The fact that they were not forthcoming was the issue. read more

Sad note: I was so hungry that I forgot to take pics. I will come back to this place every time I come to Flagstaff. The service was fantastic. They recommended stuff, and were kind and gracious. The food was amazing. She recommended the brisket which wasn't on the menu but was phenomenal. And the house made fried okra - some of the best okra I've had. We sat on the TV side because there was no one on that side. But the sound on the TVs was off so I could actually have a conversation. Cocktails were good and reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and I'm glad I tried it. I highly recommend this place. And if you are having a hard time finding it, it's in the basement!!! read more

Just tried the steak sandwich, potato salad and baked beans. Terrible! Sandwich was very small and only flavor was smoke. Beans were flavored with vinegar. I know bbq---lived in Missouri & NC for a total of 40 years. Overpriced and underwhelming. read more

I tried several things and did not enjoy most of it. The bison burger was terrible... everything seemed so cheap on it with no flavor The nachos would have been much better if they used real cheese and not the plastic cheese. Also you should put on the menu that they are EXTREMELY spicy. The potato salad tasted like you took a bite of an onion dipped in ranch dressing. Honestly THE WORST POTATO SALAD I've ever tried... I thought that store bought was bad but man you guys take the cake for that one! The fried pickles were actually REALLY good (surprisingly) But the coleslaw needs to be made a few days before so it can soak in the sauce and not have a bitter cabbage flavor. Honestly this place needs to fine tune just about everything they serve because it's once of the worst restaurants I've been to. Sorry but not sorry You guys can do better read more

To put it bluntly, this is not $25 worth of food. The meat didn't even fully cover the bun and there were only a handful of fries. We were super excited to try this place, but left feeling disappointed and still hungry. read more

Ambience was cool. Great T shirts. Service was great. But the food was not 4 stars. The ribs were tough and dry. Potatoes salad was under seasoned. Coleslaw, tasted like oiled cabbage. Cornbread was moist. Beans were good, not extraordinary. But hey, great marketing with the logo. read more

Bigfoot BBQ - Sides - Barbeque Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Not the same Bigfoot as 10 years ago. Fatty pork in a little tiny styrofoam cup, one teaspoon of barbecue sauce dripped on top, no pickles though they were supposed to be included with the sandwich, and mediocre beans. Handed me a can of coke and didn't even offer a glass and ice. Had to ask for it. All for $19 with tax. Never, ever again, says this local. read more

The chicken strips were the best item at a BBQ place. Don't need beat up them up more for the Carolina Gold sauce made with cloves, the almost raw potatoes in the potato salad, dry pulled pork, unexpectedly spicy fries and bad beans... but Yelp said the review needs 85 characters read more

If you're rolling through Flagstaff and your stomach starts growling for real, honest-to-goodness barbecue, do yourself a favor and hunt down Bigfoot Bar-B-Q. Tucked into the old historic downtown district, this place is the mountain-town BBQ joint you've been dreaming about: smoky, laid-back, and packed with flavor. Walk in and you're immediately greeted like an old friend. Paige, working the counter with a huge smile and genuine enthusiasm, is hands-down one of the best hosts I've ever encountered. She took time to walk us through the menu, offered perfect recommendations, and somehow made the whole ordering process easy. Then there's Jason, the owner, who's usually floating around the dining room checking on tables. The guy is ridiculously personable; he stopped by our table just to see how everything was hitting and ended up telling us about the restaurant and Flagstaff. Now, the food is holy smoked! We went straight for the Family Double Wide platter because, well, we were starving after a day of traveling. Let me tell you, this thing is absolute perfection for two hungry people. You get a full pound of melt-in-your-mouth brisket (moist, peppery bark, zero knife required), a half-rack of pork ribs, and pulled pork. The house BBQ sauce and Carolina mustard are dangerously addictive. Sides are no afterthought: the smoky baked beans, crisp jalapeño coleslaw, and mashed sweet potatoes are worth fighting over. We demolished everything! 5 stars, easy. Next time you're in Flagstaff and craving barbecue that hits the soul, follow the smoke to Bigfoot. You'll leave happy, full, and already planning your return trip. read more

Cool little spot in Flag to satisfy that BBQ craving. Ordered the 1 smoked meats plate with ribs, mac n chz and fries. Fries are mid, not bad but I think they are battered and I'm not a fan of those kind of fries. Mac n chz was good! Rich and tastey. Had a small sample of slaw and enjoyed that too; good flavor and the veggies were crisp. The ribs were a little dry but still good and easy to eat. My favorite was the corn bread. Great texture and slightly sweet. A bit pricey but plenty of food and good variety of beer. read more

Only one thing of which you need to be aware! Bigfoot BBQ is in the basement. Follow the signs. There is an ADA compliant elevator next to the stairs. The last time that I reviewed Big Foot I believed that it had earned just a 4 star rating. Some that had to do with service which has continued to improve. I am not exactly what they have done over the many years that I have been eating here, but the food has improved. Not just the taste, but the presentation and quality. To be honest, I just cannot tease out what has changed. I your looking for ambiance the place is simply but tastefully decorated. Nice selection of beer. Soda drinks for the kids. Family style seating. BTW, this a great place to take the kids or grand kids (Yep, I am getting old). Local place, I urge you to give it a try. Oh, I forgot! As noted by another reviewer try the brisket. Yum! read more

Bigfoot BBQ - 1/2 Rack of Ribs, Sliced Beef Brisket Plate, Pulled Pork Plate - Barbeque Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

We were visiting Flagstaff Thanksgiving weekend and were on the hunt for some food. There was a sign outside this shopping center that said BBQ downstairs. So why not? Bigfoot bbq isn't the best Bbq I've had but the location is unique. It's in a mall, basement level. What was great is that they allowed dogs! Service was friendly and instead of soft drinks, you can opt for Pabst. Like what?! Unheard of in California to be able to substitute for a beer. The employee at the register walked us through the menu and we decided to get the three meat option. It was good, but not great. I did enjoy sitting somewhere warm and having a beer with some BBQ. It would be a great place for friends to hang out, grab a brew and some small bites to avoid sitting outside. read more

Not even edible food. . Kids area was dirty with random French fries mixed in with the toys. I got sweet potatoes that looked and tasted like something served in a prison. Hidden gem! Really cute area. Went here by recommendation and rave from my niece! This was in the heart of Downtown Flagstaff! Super cute area and parking was a breeze! Recommended to us by @kdb78, we've been searching for an opportunity to capture a meal at "Bigfoot BBQ" while visiting Flagstaff, Arizona. While I expected their BBQ creations to be excellent, it was the cornbread that really blew Dana's tastebuds away. She took a bite, her eyebrows raised slightly (sound familiar @taylormarie_91? ), and all she said was, "Oh, dude!" Nuff said, I guess. In addition to many of the BBQ options you'd expect, they also offer "Mac 'N' Cheese Balls", "Fried Pickle Chips", "Cobbler", and their "Truck Stop Creations" which are "Influenced, inspired and outright stolen from some of the most auspicious gas stations across the South." Bigfoot is known by many as the "Hide and Seek World Champion", so it shouldn't be unexpected that his BBQ joint can be a little challenging to find. While I have no advice about where to catch up with him for an autograph or a selfie, I can tell you that his hidden lair is housed on the lower floor of the "Old Town Shops" on the corner of Leroux and Birch. Feel free to share that info with friends and fam cuz Biggie told me he was cool with that. And that's...Henry's Take. #bigfootbbq #flgandbigfoot read more

Friendly service and inviting atmosphere but the food was far from good bbq. Ribs were dry and their chopped beef was gross. The chopped beef was burnt and had a weird taste to it. Sides were awful. Even better than I remember from my college days almost 10 years ago! Not cheap and they do run out of in-demand items, but the quality is well worth it. Also, their cornbread is way better than it used to be. The staff all fell in love with my little one and were incredibly sweet and personable. Loved having the option to get dessert brought to the table later! Tl;dr this place is a Flagstaff institution for a reason. read more

Came here with my friend for lunch as we were making our way across the country. Located in the basement of a small shopping center, Bigfoot BBQ actually has quite a big footprint there. Two dining areas are intersected by the order counter/bar. A very fun menu that left me spoiled for choice, heh! Wound up getting the KC Style Pulled Pork Sandwich with a side of fries and a beer to wash it all down, and it definitely didn't disappoint. Instead of giving us a number tent like most places usually do, they handed me a license plate! :-D I wouldn't mind coming back here next time I'm in town and continue eating my way through the menu. read more
