Los Tapatio's is one of those restaurants that feels instantly welcoming the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is colorful and relaxed, and the staff is genuinely friendly without being overbearing. The food comes out pretty fast, portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh. Their fajitas arrive still sizzling and the enchilada plates are especially good and savory, cheesy, and comforting. The salsa and chips are fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and it's an easy spot to visit whether you're grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a casual dinner. If you're looking for solid, satisfying Mexican food in Flagstaff with a local feel, Los Tapatio's is definitely worth a stop. Before I forget the Micheladas were on point with the Modelo!

Wow! Started out great with immediate smiling servers who were quick to seat us, serve chips and salsa and a very tasty coleslaw (for the tortilla chips). Drinks followed also very quickly. If you are a fan of margaritas, well, Los Tapatios will not disappoint, try the frozen flavors or the Cadillac , all good. The menu is set to impress, it has all the common dishes you want and some impressive house specials as well. The main meal was the crown jewel. Very large portions with tasty food all around. Our party of 4 were all impressed with the food quality, taste and selections . A+, 5 Stars. We WILL be back! What's the best -- we randomly looked for Mexican food on the long drive to Phoenix and could not be more pleased with finding Los Tapatios. Service was great and they have a great sense of humor! We went with a big group of coworkers while in Flagstaff for a Meeting! Atmosphere is fun and inviting. Large menu with many great choices and reasonable pricing. I chose the Crunchy Relleno and it was go very good, I will be going back for another one!! I also loved the cabbage slaw type salsa with the chips! Coworkers all had great looking meals and were happy with the food and pricing! Thank you so much! Best Mexican food in Flagstaff hands down! The first time we went here, we almost left and went somewhere else just because of how the outside looked. I will forever be thankful that we decided to go in as we have been here five times now every time they knock it completely out of the park. The menus are huge with endless selections. You will literally get stronger just picking the menu up and down. Every single thing that we have ate here has been incredible. If you like good Mexican food, then you can thank us later. From the moment we walked in, we knew this was going to be a good experience. The atmosphere's fun, the staff is friendly, the margarita was worth the visit and the food was delicious. I had the fish burrito and it was huge, probably could have fed three people. I'm not sure what the sauce was on top of it, but it should go on everything! read more

For some reason the owner replied to my review and claimed that they were not the restaurant I meant to write a review about. That's odd because in the review I included a picture of myself in the restaurant. You'd think the owner would recognize his own place. I'm very well aware that you guys are located in Flagstaff, we were there. If you are a fan of margaritas, well, Los Tapatios will not disappoint, try the frozen flavors or the Cadillac , all good. Came for dinner on New Years Day and was immediately welcomed warmly by the great staff and charming atmosphere! Our server recommended the Enchiladas Poblanas and I can't thank him enough for that- they were absolutely delicious, and he even let me try the sauce before ordering! We also got the Quesa Birria appetizer- OMG, cannot recommend enough, it was AWESOME. We will definitely be back! read more

What a wonderful dining experience !! We started by making a reservation, it was a Friday evening. The restaurant was very busy. We were greeted and seated immediately! The decor is lovely! At that point the drinks weren't really "drinks" anymore, they were more like proof of purchase. A nice reminder that yes, I did in fact pay for those. The food itself was pretty forgettable, and beer's not really my thing anyway, so this place had a lot riding on the service and vibe. Unfortunately that's where it fell short too. Maybe a sign, maybe a "hey we'll bring these over" from staff. Or even a "hey we'll bring your drinks before you're done and ready to leave." Something. Anything.

I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this spot if you're in Flagstaff!

We came for taco Tuesday and we had the happy hour margaritas. We thought they were small (and they were the small ones) but they were as large as the large margaritas at the chain restaurants. Thinking the tacos would be small I ordered three. I had to take one home because I was full after two. And that's without rice and beans Please come here hungry! You will lot be disappointed. It's located next to Fratelli Pizza on N Fort Valley Rd in north Flagstaff. There's a small open parking lot with the old gas station remains. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area for customers too. My boyfriend and I shared their Snickerdoodle Latte and Humphreys Breakfast Panini. The latte was delicious! It was very flavorful with a nice aroma. It wasn't too sweet either. The panini was also really good. The egg was definitely a winner! I did wish the panini was more full and had a bit more bacon. The sauce/aioli they had on the side was really good. It made the panini more flavorful in my opinion. We got Greek salads with gyro meat and a side of hummus. This was one of the best meals I have had. I know it's "just a salad", but this was the freshest, crispiest green salad and the flavors with the dressing and tzatziki were fenomenal. The meat was flavorful, and the hummus so creamy. Sometimes when you get takeout from a restaurant you end up getting less food than when you actually eat there. Not here! it was a healthy portion.
