After lunch and a workout my wife and I decided to walk over to Oakmont, it was such a beautiful day in Flagstaff we were going to grab a couple cocktails and chill. We ordered a Gray goose martini and a house Manhattan on the rocks. What arrived was half full Martini ice on the side as we requested and at 3/4 full Manhattan glass that looked like weak iced tea I tasted this is my favorite drink it was horribly watered down my wife said taste my martini, i couldn't even taste alcohol we contemplated what to do the bar tender would not make eye contact with me I decided to close out the tab I got the bill $35 I wrote no tip on the tip line on the receipt, we just laughed and laughed as we walked home what a joke what a rip off I've eaten there many times I can say the food is marginal it's like bar food I think I'm scratching this one off my list forever. I wish I had taken photos... You can look at my reviews I really don't leave negative reviews I don't like to do that but 35 bucks what a rip off it's not right.

The service was really good and the views are nice for self-care while having a beverage. The food is typical of bar food so dont expect for it be over the top. Having said that, they prepare it nicely and there were no issues with the dish.

The weather was really nice and we ate on the patio!! Our service was excellent. Drinks took a little too long but our server was so good we barely noticed!! Definitely try the asparagus and the corn and avocado dip both were excellent!

Winter themed specialty cocktails- the cranberry Hugo!

We've never have a bad experience here! Our favorites are the tempura green beans! We love to sit on the patio in the summer. It's a great spot for families! We've also been during the winter and they have delicious themed cocktails, the cranberry Hugo was hands down my favorite.

The service and ambiance are fine. The wings were fine but the price is kind of a lot for mediocre wings. The only food that was slightly better was my mom's salmon that was perfectly cooked in my opinion. Everyone else's dishes didn't really impress me much. There are so many options in flagstaff it's just very limited on this side of flagstaff unfortunately. With oreganos being a chain and majority of all of Phoenix area it's like your pretty much stuck with oakmont being your only local spot on this side of town. Everything is fine just not mind blowingly delectable status.

This was an excellent restaurant! Beautiful views of the mountains and golf course. We came after hiking and were looking for a casual dinner spot. We were able to bring our dog on the patio which we loved. The nachos are some of the best I've had in years! The asparagus fries are also a must try. Excellent flavor! The happy hour specials were great as well. The service was excellent. Our server was really nice and gave wonderful recommendations. Highly recommend coming here if you're in Flagstaff! We can't wait to come back!

    Chicken ceasar salad

This place is quite nice. The food was fresh and had a nice difference from other restaurants in the area. My husband got the peppercorn steak and I got the chicken ceasar salad. The cocktails were excellent and so was the wine selection. I appreciated the attentive staff and nice ambiance.

Braised short rib with carrots and pureed potatoes.

Oakmont is kind of a hit or miss for me. They have dishes like the green chilie stew that I enjoy. Then there are dishes like the braised short rib I had the other day which are disappointing. Would've been nice if all the fat wasn't trimmed off because the short rib was on the dry side. Braised short rib is usually one of my favorite things to eat and this came up short. The service is usually good and hopefully you're lucky enough to get seated with a view of the golf course. Oh yeah, they tack on a "flagstaff service fee" to your bill to make up for the increased minimum wage in town.

I can't say enough about our experience here! The manager, Rainen, was incredible. He found us a prime spot table in the gorgeous patio. Our server, Jay, was on top of it. His recommendations were spot on. The chicken Sonoma was out of this world! My hubby said the prime rib was outstanding. We will definitely make an effort to get back here!!!

I am not sure if they've overtaken an old motel and converted it into the motor lodge that it is today, but it definitely gives me those vibes! As you walk through the front doors, it seems you're transported back in time. It's dark and moody but also has a young hipster vibe. The general store offers breakfast and light bites for dinner. The pizzas are amazing! What makes it so fun is that you order at the general store and then you find a place to sit either inside or outside and they bring your food out to you. I absolutely love sitting outside by the fire pits. It's warm and cozy and you're surrounded by the hotel with a huge expanse of green space in front of you so, if you're traveling with kids, they have a place to play. The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I don't know if chef changes the menus often BUT we had the fattoush salad, the bread board, cabbage, fideo with the venison sausage, and the chicken thighs and for dessert, we had the parsley and the apricot gelato. Yes, it sounds strange, parsley gelato but holy moly, it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. It is savory and sweet, so if you like really sweet desserts, it might not be your favorite but it is definitely unique and delicious. Everything was incredible. My only critique is that everything is a shareable and there's no way to serve each item, which is easily fixed with a serving spoon so, not really a critique. 11/10 food Service was great. Four stars for the food... five stars for Scott…read more We wandered into Tiki Grill and ordered the Pittsburgh Burger, because honestly, who can resist a burger stacked high with fries and coleslaw? It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. So here's the official scorecard: Food: Four Stars Onion rings: 5 Stars Ratatouille: 5 Stars Scott just being Scott: 6 stars (if Yelp allowed) Bottom line: go for the onion rings, stay for the ratatouille, and enjoy meeting Scott. Some restaurants have good food. This one has good people, and that's a recipe worth returning for.

A Masterclass in Modern American Fine Dining…read more My recent dinner at Atria in downtown Flagstaff was, quite simply, an exceptional experience from start to finish. Chef Rochelle Daniel has created a space that perfectly balances upscale elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a true standout in the region. We started the evening with their incredible oyster selection. The oysters with the cucumber granita were a masterclass in refreshing, clean flavors--a perfect, bright start to the meal. We also indulged in the oysters with caviar beurre blanc, which provided a stunning, decadent contrast; the richness of the beurre blanc paired with the briny pop of caviar was unforgettable. Another standout from the starters was the foie gras cornets--delicate, playful, and incredibly rich, they were a brilliant opening note for the palate. The beet salad was another highlight. Far from a simple starter, the charcoal-roasted preparation brought out a beautiful depth and earthiness, elevated by the perfect balance of creamy textures and crunchy toppings. For the main, the duck entrée was flawless. The skin was perfectly rendered, and the meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the kitchen's technical prowess. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Michael David Inkblot Cabernet Franc. It was a fantastic choice--bold and velvety with those classic notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice that held up beautifully against the richness of the duck and the earthiness of the beets. What truly elevated the presentation was the stunning pottery. Every dish was served on beautiful, locally crafted ceramic pieces that added a tactile, artisanal feel to the table. It's a thoughtful detail that grounds the high-end cuisine in the spirit of Northern Arizona. We finished the evening on a high note with a round of perfectly pulled espressos and the coconut macaroons. The macaroons were the ideal final bite--crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness to round out the experience. From the thoughtful presentation of every plate to the impeccable, knowledgeable service, everything about the evening felt intentional and memorable. Atria is not just a meal; it is a culinary experience that showcases the very best of Northern Arizona's ingredients. It is a must-visit.
