First time eating at the restaurant and had high standards working a a country club before and they did wonderful! The atmosphere around our table was great from the big screen for sports, the bar, and all the tables around us. The food was delicious and we ate it all Our waitress was very sweet and talked to us allot about the area and food suggestions to give us. The place was jumping with diners on a Friday night perhaps after golf or work . The menu had a good selection but the happy hour is the best . The pork chili provided a substantial bowl and the meat was very tender . My partner had a over spiced shrimp appetizer that did not list jalapeños on the description . He could not eat it , however, the restaurant took the charge off the bill . Overall a nice place and not bad pricing . Oh and the view was beautiful!!! read more

After lunch and a workout my wife and I decided to walk over to Oakmont, it was such a beautiful day in Flagstaff we were going to grab a couple cocktails and chill. We ordered a Gray goose martini and a house Manhattan on the rocks. What arrived was half full Martini ice on the side as we requested and at 3/4 full Manhattan glass that looked like weak iced tea I tasted this is my favorite drink it was horribly watered down my wife said taste my martini, i couldn't even taste alcohol we contemplated what to do the bar tender would not make eye contact with me I decided to close out the tab I got the bill $35 I wrote no tip on the tip line on the receipt, we just laughed and laughed as we walked home what a joke what a rip off I've eaten there many times I can say the food is marginal it's like bar food I think I'm scratching this one off my list forever. The only food that was slightly better was my mom's salmon that was perfectly cooked in my opinion. Everyone else's dishes didn't really impress me much. There are so many options in flagstaff it's just very limited on this side of flagstaff unfortunately. With oreganos being a chain and majority of all of Phoenix area it's like your pretty much stuck with oakmont being your only local spot on this side of town. This was an excellent restaurant! Beautiful views of the mountains and golf course. We came after hiking and were looking for a casual dinner spot. We were able to bring our dog on the patio which we loved. The nachos are some of the best I've had in years! The asparagus fries are also a must try. Excellent flavor! The happy hour specials were great as well. The service was excellent. Our server was really nice and gave wonderful recommendations. Highly recommend coming here if you're in Flagstaff! We've never have a bad experience here! Our favorites are the tempura green beans! We love to sit on the patio in the summer. It's a great spot for families! We've also been during the winter and they have delicious themed cocktails, the cranberry Hugo was hands down my favorite. read more

My husband and I went there for dinner. The ambiance was nice, but it was very loud. We ordered the fish & chips, chicken caesar salad and soup. We were both really disappointed with our meals. The salad had jalapeño Caesar dressing, but had almost NO flavor, which we were surprised about. When we told the waitress about the dressing, she just said that it was made in-house, but didn't offer us a different dressing. My fish was good, but the fries were heavily seasoned with some type of spice, which wasn't listed on the menu. I didn't like them at all, I was expecting fries that weren't seasoned. The tomato soup was good, but unfortunately that was the only part of the dinner we enjoyed. The service was ok, but our plates were never taken away, they remained on the table until we left. Oakmont is kind of a hit or miss for me. They have dishes like the green chilie stew that I enjoy. Then there are dishes like the braised short rib I had the other day which are disappointing. Would've been nice if all the fat wasn't trimmed off because the short rib was on the dry side. Braised short rib is usually one of my favorite things to eat and this came up short. The service is usually good and hopefully you're lucky enough to get seated with a view of the golf course. Oh yeah, they tack on a "flagstaff service fee" to your bill to make up for the increased minimum wage in town. read more

Walked in and was sat immediately. They have a large patio outside with a wide range of seating in and out. The servers are kind and offer great suggestions. If you sit on the patio there are a ton of lights, shade umbrellas, and heaters for when it gets colder out. All the food and drinks I've tried have been satisfying. My group has loved the asparagus fries, nachos, and salads. We've also tried a few other things and desserts and have always left happy. read more

Good, but the new menu as of June 2026 is disappointing. The portions are smaller, and avoid the new shrimp appetizer. It's awful. They should have kept the Coconut Shrimp on the menu. Not sure who is responsible for the charges, but fire them. Disappointed because as locals this was a go to spot. Not sure when we will get back. I can't say enough about our experience here! The manager, Rainen, was incredible. He found us a prime spot table in the gorgeous patio. Our server, Jay, was on top of it. Great spot! Views are amazing! We came in after a morning of walking and hiking around Aspen Trail. We wanted to find a spot that had options for lunch so we decided on here. We didn't realize it was a country club but they sat us no problem. The service was amazing. Our server was super nice and punctual. The food was delicious! Asparagus fries are to die for! The sauce they are served with is amazing with a bit of a kick. The nachos are definitely the best nachos I've ever had. Every chip had cheese on it with toppings. They definitely take time and make the nachos correct. The flavors were amazing. The turkey sandwich was nice and loaded with turkey and avocado with a great spicy honey aioli. Drinks were good and they were not shy with the pour! We got a nice table in the patio with our pup and enjoyed the view of the mountain and the golf course! I was I could give this place 6 stars! The food is absurdly good; menu is absolute genius. My girlfriend and I shared the Chicken Club and the Smokehouse burger (I wish we got pictures, but we destroyed our dishes as soon as they touched the table). I ordered the Blackberry Smash cocktail and it's one of my new fav drinks, so much so that I am going to try making it at home. Marlee took amazing care of us the entire evening too, busy shift but she managed with such ease and did amazing so shouts out Marlee!
