Take Me Home Cocktail: refreshing and the perfect blend of fruit and fresh ingredients.
Melissa G.

Mi Tesoro knocks it out of the park every time! Our new favorite cocktails are the espresso martini and the Take Me Home! Our kids love the "Gustavo special" from the secret menu Our latest favorite obsessions for food: The burger, chimichanga (enchilada style) and the nachos which are a seriously generous portion. Everything from start to finish is delicious and fantastic. Service is exceptional and we never have to ask for refills, or search for a service. They're always available and happy to be there. The flavors are exactly what you want when you're craving traditional Mexican food. I would eat here every day if I could! Highly recommend! We even send our friends and our Airbnb guests here as well because we love it so much and know they'll have a great experince. Take our word for it - 10/10 all around!

Fajita trío

Let me start by saying the waitstaff was wonderful. Very attendance and pleasant. The atmosphere and decor are very nice. The food was disappointing unfortunately. We had the fajita trio and it was woefully under seasoned and while the meats were overcooked the veggies weren't cooked at all. We also had drinks. The beso de verano is a grapefruit drink, and the prickly pear margarita were both good. The prices are on the high side for the quality. I dont think we'll be back.

Of course I had to try out the new Mexican restaurant at the mall. Family-owned. Love the music! I always say, if the beans and rice don't taste good, they can't cook. The beans and rice here is delicious! I ordered the carne asada tacos and the papa's taquitos. There are two salsas, mild and hot. The hot salsa is the best. Loving all things lemon, I had to try the limoncello margarita martini-style. I don't like ice in my cocktails. Everything was delicious. I will return to try the rib-eye chicharrones.

What an awesome restaurant addition to East Flagstaff! The ambiance is beautiful and clean, waitstaff was attentive and provided excellent service! Now to the great part; the chips and salsa were fresh! The corn tortillas are on the lighter side. Even the water was classy. My husband got the steak quesadilla and said the meat was very flavorful! I got the bear battered shrimp tacos and the portion was huge, my hubs had to share. The shrimp tastes fresh and again really good quality corn tortillas! And lastly the beans & rice taste traditional with the queso cotija! Will definitely be back to try more!

Everything I've had here is so good. The staff is awesome the place is beautiful, the burger is one of the top 3 in flagstaff. Quickly becoming a top choice to eat at in flagstaff. The mall location is nice. Stop by try it out you won't regret it!

Carne Asda Steak with rice and beans.

The food arrived cold. My steak was barely warm, and my son said his tacos were dry and stale. The Sonoran hotdog bun was hard. The tomatoes and mayo were placed underneath the hotdog, while the onions were layered on top. Unfortunately, this combination did not make up for the hard buns. The waiter refilled my Dr Pepper over the melted ice water and what little ice remained in the cup, which watered down my soda. However, the ice-cold water was quite refreshing.

Birria tacos

Our party got the Birria Tacos, Fajitas, and the Carnitas plate. Everything was wonderful including the chips and salsa. Staff were attentive and we had no complaints. We will be back!

Fajitas
David V.

We had a rather stingy margarita (mostly ice), fajitas, and the requisite chips and salsa. The entire meal was underwhelming and pricey. While the fajitas were indeed delivered in a cast iron skillet as expected, there was no caramelization and everything was swimming in a sea of weird sauce. Worst if all, the chicken and steak were chewy and rather bland.

I am not sure if they've overtaken an old motel and converted it into the motor lodge that it is today, but it definitely gives me those vibes! As you walk through the front doors, it seems you're transported back in time. It's dark and moody but also has a young hipster vibe. The general store offers breakfast and light bites for dinner. The pizzas are amazing! What makes it so fun is that you order at the general store and then you find a place to sit either inside or outside and they bring your food out to you. I absolutely love sitting outside by the fire pits. It's warm and cozy and you're surrounded by the hotel with a huge expanse of green space in front of you so, if you're traveling with kids, they have a place to play. Tonight we just got a pizza and some cocktails as we were just passing through. Everything was delicious!

We came here during Christmas week and everything was open. We were from out of town and it was absolutely amazing. Maddy was one of the servers and she was so nice, and attentive. I strongly recommend coming here even for the drinks! But the food was the cherry on top. Everything was so good.

So much so, they have been craving it and cannot find another place that tastes the same. I ordered their two fish taco special which was different than any other fish taco I've had, but very good! We also tried their corn and shrimp chowder which was amaaaaaazing! My son ordered the hurricane drink and said it was strong but very tasty. This place seemed like a little gem to the locals. Their customers seem very happy to be there and the guys running it are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming in if you're in the area. They have something for everyone. Their food and service was phenomenal!

Four stars for the food... five stars for Scott…read more We wandered into Tiki Grill and ordered the Pittsburgh Burger, because honestly, who can resist a burger stacked high with fries and coleslaw? It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. So here's the official scorecard: Food: Four Stars Onion rings: 5 Stars Ratatouille: 5 Stars Scott just being Scott: 6 stars (if Yelp allowed) Bottom line: go for the onion rings, stay for the ratatouille, and enjoy meeting Scott. Some restaurants have good food. This one has good people, and that's a recipe worth returning for.

A Masterclass in Modern American Fine Dining…read more My recent dinner at Atria in downtown Flagstaff was, quite simply, an exceptional experience from start to finish. Chef Rochelle Daniel has created a space that perfectly balances upscale elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it a true standout in the region. We started the evening with their incredible oyster selection. The oysters with the cucumber granita were a masterclass in refreshing, clean flavors--a perfect, bright start to the meal. We also indulged in the oysters with caviar beurre blanc, which provided a stunning, decadent contrast; the richness of the beurre blanc paired with the briny pop of caviar was unforgettable. Another standout from the starters was the foie gras cornets--delicate, playful, and incredibly rich, they were a brilliant opening note for the palate. The beet salad was another highlight. Far from a simple starter, the charcoal-roasted preparation brought out a beautiful depth and earthiness, elevated by the perfect balance of creamy textures and crunchy toppings. For the main, the duck entrée was flawless. The skin was perfectly rendered, and the meat was incredibly tender, showcasing the kitchen's technical prowess. To complement the meal, we enjoyed a bottle of Michael David Inkblot Cabernet Franc. It was a fantastic choice--bold and velvety with those classic notes of dark fruit and a hint of spice that held up beautifully against the richness of the duck and the earthiness of the beets. What truly elevated the presentation was the stunning pottery. Every dish was served on beautiful, locally crafted ceramic pieces that added a tactile, artisanal feel to the table. It's a thoughtful detail that grounds the high-end cuisine in the spirit of Northern Arizona. We finished the evening on a high note with a round of perfectly pulled espressos and the coconut macaroons. The macaroons were the ideal final bite--crispy on the outside, wonderfully chewy on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness to round out the experience. From the thoughtful presentation of every plate to the impeccable, knowledgeable service, everything about the evening felt intentional and memorable. Atria is not just a meal; it is a culinary experience that showcases the very best of Northern Arizona's ingredients. It is a must-visit.

Could barely finish my 20+$ drink. Bread was VERY crusty. Not fluffy, and coated in oil. Other than that the food was good. We picked this place because it was supposed to be the best in Flagstaff. We enjoyed it, service was good, the place itself is amazing. The bathroom smell was delicious but too potent. I loved being able to see the exposed kitchen area in the back!
