The food is amazing. It is some of the best Mexican food we have eaten since we moved to Arizona 45 years ago. The menu offers a la carte selections which allow taste testing new entrees without the cost of a plated meal. The baked goods looked out of this world and based on the number of customers coming in to buy baked goods, I have no doubt they are delicious. The service was terrific, and it was heartwarming to know that Gloria's is a family owned and run business. The pride of ownership is evident, which creates a great dining experience. Found this spot on a whim because it was right next to our hotel and I'm so glad we did! You can either order to-go at the counter or be seated for table service. The warm you that food preparation takes a little longer because everything is made to order-- and it is well worth the wait! We lucked out getting a table for our party of 5 before all the tables were full and a line was out the door. Everything our party had was amazing! I ordered two breakfast burritos to go. The service was prompt and friendly. They showed me all of the burrito options offered and were happy to customize my order. There was plenty of inside seating. The burritos came with both red and green salsas, which were tasty with the right amount of heat. Hubby had sausage and I had chorizo for the meat options. If you are an NAU student or are visiting Flagstaff, you need to do yourself a favor and go to Gloria's. This became one of my go-to spots during my last two years up there to get a burrito and a delicious pastry. The staff are so kind and the service is exceptional. Waits aren't really a problem, even when it is busy, and they are very attentive. The restaurant is cute, and there are a ton of tables. I've never had an issue with spontaneously getting breakfast or dinner there on weekdays. They have a lot of great specials in addition to their menu, so it's hard to recommend specific dishes, but you can't go wrong with getting a burrito. I love their carne asada and their birria is so tasty--it melts right in your mouth. Come in the morning to snag some pastries. They have conchas, cinnamon rolls, you name it. Not the least bit mushy. The ham was also good it was not some tasteless lunch meat type thing bought from some mass producer. And some significant spice/heat! My husband and I had lunch here once at the recommendation of longtime Flagstaff residents. My husband had the chorizo burrito and I had beef enchiladas with rice and beans. Both were delicious. Our lunches came with chips and salsa. My husband thought the chips were too thick, but I liked them. The salsa was fantastic and likely homemade. We have visited Flagstaff for the summer for over five years but have never been to this establishment because the name Gloria's Bakery led us to believe it was primarily a spot to get dessert. Gloria's does have a wide offering of Mexican pastry and dessert, but I think this is primarily a Mexican restaurant. There is a good amount of indoor seating. A server comes to your table to take your order. I didn't notice any outdoor seating. There is plenty of easy parking in the shared lot. We plan to return. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! We stopped in for lunch on a recent road trip. As we were driving down 4th Ave I was starting to be a lot skeptical about this place. But do your self a favor and stop here. The chips and salsa were fresh. The salsa is a little thin but did for the chunks and the flavors are spot on. We shared a chicken chimichanga which was amazing. I tried the fajita burrito with chicken once! And I haven't been able to try anything else since. The burrito is always juicy and the chicken is very flavorful.
