We have a doggie so we dined on the patio, though the inside seating area was cozy and welcoming. Our dinners came out hot and tasty and several other outdoor doggie diners were also pleased with the food. We will come back. Service was exemplary. read more

Tiki Grill - Drinks and curds. - Comfort Food Near Me - Flagstaff, Arizona

Nice family-run restaurant with a fun vibe. The food came out very quickly. The tiki Loco moco was good. The crab cake and pork belly melt was okay; if you don't like crab cakes, this won't convince you otherwise. I liked the Caesar salad it came on top of. My favourite was the sweet potato biscuit - rather unique in restaurants, subtly sweet. The Cajun fries were also good. The managers were the best part - very friendly, kind, and attentive. read more

**July 2026: Tuesday Night Visit** My friend and I wanted something a little different than traditional American food, so we decided to check out Tiki Grill for Taco Tuesday! Parking was plentiful and the vibe of the restaurant felt very tropical and island-inspired, almost like a little vacation in Flagstaff. After considering all the menu options we decided to take advantage of the Taco Tuesday deal and went for the fried fish taco plate and a grilled shrimp tacos plate. Both were fantastic and the portion was super generous. Each taco honestly felt like it could have been two tacos! and at the end of the meal, I picked up a slice of the ooey gooey butter cake. I got my friend hooked on it too because it was so soft, rich, and gooey. Overall, we had a really fun dining experience, and the service was very friendly too! read more

Stopped last night on our way to see Bob Schneider at the Beaver Street Theatre and we were all so happy! I had the blue lagoon drink was a bright blue vodka drink in a tiki glass with an umbrella. Super refreshing! We sat on the patio, which was a nice spot despite the place being in a standard strip mall. The indoor ambience is terrific with an entire framed section of choose your own adventure hot sauce! Two of us got the loco moco with pork belly gravy, add mushroom -cause why not be real gluttons. Fan-freaking-tastic! It's not the traditional brown gravy you might think of for loco moco, but that was to be guessed with pork belly.... And I was so happy I could not stop eating!! The burger was cooked perfectly, the egg was fried to perfection, and it was the right level of messy. Ha. Others in our party got blackened shrimp tacos and spicy chicken melt. They also enjoyed what they got! You order at the bar, keep your tab open and then pay when you're done, which worked out great for us. The staff were nice, bathrooms were clean. Would definitely recommend! read more

Tiki Grill is perfect spot for lunch when in Flagstaff. We settled on fish tacos and burgers. The fish tacos had very large pieces of fresh fish. I opted for grilled rather than blackened or fried. My friends had burgers and they said it was delicious. Onion rings were on point as well. We would love to come back again. Highly recommend!! read more

Four stars for the food... five stars for Scott. We wandered into Tiki Grill and ordered the Pittsburgh Burger, because honestly, who can resist a burger stacked high with fries and coleslaw? It's basically a sandwich that looked at a side order and said, "Hop on, we're going together." Then Scott, the owner, came by. Turns out he's a former white-tablecloth restaurant guy who decided to bring his culinary wizardry to a laid-back grill. And you can feel it immediately. The guy doesn't just run the place, he hosts it. Now let's talk surprises. The hidden gem of the night was the ratatouille. Yes... ratatouille. At a grill known for burgers. And it was the best ratatouille I've had in 25 years. Somewhere in Provence a French grandmother just nodded approvingly. The onion rings? Fried perfection. Crispy, golden, and exactly what onion rings aspire to be when they grow up. The burgers themselves were a bit overcooked for my taste, which is the only reason this lands at four stars instead of five. But Scott's presence at the restaurant more than made up for it. The guy genuinely cares about his guests, checks in, chats, and makes the whole place feel welcoming. So here's the official scorecard: Food: Four Stars Onion rings: 5 Stars Ratatouille: 5 Stars Scott just being Scott: 6 stars (if Yelp allowed) Bottom line: go for the onion rings, stay for the ratatouille, and enjoy meeting Scott. Some restaurants have good food. This one has good people, and that's a recipe worth returning for. read more

Top notch; can't wait to go back. Visited for the first time tonight and was really impressed. Atmosphere is fun, staff was helpful, but what really stood out was the food loaded with flavor and portion sizes just right. read more

Small restaurant with really great food! I got the fried fish bites with Cajun fries. Tiki rubbed wings (crispy deliciousness) and a catfish sandwich. Everything was a solid 10/10 all the food was amazing. This is truly some of the best comfort food I was very satisfied with my meal. The service was also a 10, looks like a younger staff but very professional. I will have to make this a favorite of mine when in Flagstaff. read more

We were contemplating a place to eat for dinner and came by to check it out. We were glad we did because the food was great and the service was amazing. We shared the whole fried snapper and some grilled fish/shrimp tacos. Fish was fried perfectly and was crispy on the outside with moist, tender flakes below. Lots of citrus and some hot sauce from the hot sauce shelves were a match well made. We also got the Cajun fries and cucumber salad, which were also tasty. Grilled fish and shrimp tacos to cap off the meal and we were stuffed. We loved the amazing service too. Warm smiles and genuinely nice folks made us keep looking at the menu for the next stop in. Don't be intimidated by the eclectic menu, the food and service are great. read more

What a find! I certainly can see why they have so many 5 star reviews. The place is very casual, offering both inside and outside dining. You order at the counter, then they bring your order to you. They have soft drinks and beer. The Pittsburgher was a wonderful, served Primanti Bros. Style, with the fries and coleslaw on the burger....it was excellent, it, messy. The fried catfish sandwich was also excellent. Moist tender fish, lightly breaded, and, fried to perfection. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We definitely will return again. read more

I came in solo today for lunch. Boy oh boy are the people the sweetest kindest people ever. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, small onion rings and the pickle Bloody Mary. Absolute perfection. While passing through Flagstaff we stopped here for lunch. We had found this place back in October but it happened to be closed then. We are really really glad we came back! It's a little place with huge flavors! You order at the counter then find your table. We ordered drinks, a tikirita and a margarita. Both were solid. For food, since it was wing Wednesday, I ordered the Cajun spiced, honey tossed wing plate (fries and slaw). The wings are some of the best I've ever had. They brought ranch but imo that would have been an insult to the flavor! Fries and slaw were delicious too. My beautiful bride had the blackened shrimp tacos. Wow! Delicious! And they do not skimp on the shrimp. Now I know why this little place holds on to its near 5 star rating. This is now on our must stop when in Flagstaff! read more

My family came in to try this place on a rainy and cold day. We were visiting from the east valley and this place had really good reviews! My boys ordered the loco moco and loved it! So much so, they have been craving it and cannot find another place that tastes the same. I ordered their two fish taco special which was different than any other fish taco I've had, but very good! We also tried their corn and shrimp chowder which was amaaaaaazing! My son ordered the hurricane drink and said it was strong but very tasty. This place seemed like a little gem to the locals. Their customers seem very happy to be there and the guys running it are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend coming in if you're in the area. They have something for everyone. One of the best seafood meals I've had in Arizona! We stopped by Tiki Grill while traveling to the Grand Canyon and I'm so glad we did. Tiki Grill has never disappointed. If you have tried this little gem, their menu is varied. We had lunch there today. The ahi poke tacos were delicious! Very flavorful, and the tortilla was crammed; they definitely do not skimp on the quantity. My husband had the Pittsburger, and he really liked that. Again, the quantity of food was enough for two. Onion rings were nice and crunchy. The staff was attentive and friendly. read more

Love local places, awesome owners and to die for food. Pokie tacos and catfish were great.

After spending the morning at Snowbowl skiing, we decided to come here for comfort food not wanting the food at the lodge. We typically get pizza after, but this time I convinced my friends to get something out of the norm and they agreed to come here. There was something for everyone! My vegetarian friend enjoyed her quinoa bowl, another couple of friends ordered the grilled mahi bites which were light and enjoyable and a decent sized portion. I saw that the fried red snapper, the entire fish, was one of their specials so I ordered that! I was so happy! It was just the right amount of food for me especially with the sides! The rice was ok, but the ratatouille was a real treat! I mean, I never really see ratatouille unless I go to a French restaurant so it was such a surprise to see it at this little chill seafood/tiki place! You order everything you want and even get your fountain drink if desired and then keep ordering more if you want, and you don't pay until the very end. If you are too full, order one of their ooey gooey butter bars to go. So rich, buttery, sweet and amazing for dessert. I'm definitely coming back because I want to try some of their poke tacos and their crab cake sandwiches or even one of my favs, loco moco. read more

Do not eat here. Terrible mistake- I was served raw shrimp tacos, offered warm white wine and then the server suggested to add Ice as a solution - The manger could have cared less and food was served out of plastic container- restaurant was warm and the host wiped my wine glass down with a bar towel that smelled like it was four days old. Take my word- go somewhere else. read more

Amazing place to have fresh and well prepared flavorful fish. Service was quick and place was cozy for small parties.

I was served raw shrimp tacos with minimal apologies from the owner. The restaurant is hot - food is served in plastic containers, wine is warm and the owners solution was to add ice myself. This was a terribly dining experience and will never be back. Pick an alternative spot. read more

A very different experience from a just sit down restaurant. I read that in another review, totally accurate. The food was good, the Poke Taco and the blackened fish Tacos were delicious. We ordered some adult beverages, a few Pain Killers and Margaritas. It did take a little longer than anticipated but it was worth the wait. Services were nice just a little slow. It could be due to the style of ordering. Prices are fair and it gets busy for dinner. read more

THIS PLACE DESERVES EVERYTHING. They make some of the best seafood tacos that I've ever had. And for such a hot state in Arizona in the middle of the summer. The weather in flagstaff is soo nice so we are outside in the tables in front of the restaurant. We tried the grilled fish, fried fish, and grilled shrimp tacos. You order up front and grab your drinks and they bring the food out to you. It came out pretty fast. All of the fish and shrimp were perfectly grilled/fried. They were all so juicy and tender. The remoulade sauce and pico de gallo both elevated the tacos as well. For such an unassuming place, I had a really good meal here. read more
