In defense to the Bar and owner regarding Veronica's post..... We went there on a busy night and I completely understand why the bar owner would be on edge about kids running freely there. My experience was that parents when I was there thought it was a free playground and while they got drunk just let their kids and I mean very young d just run around and had very little adult supervision. I think parents now a days have little respect for others space when it comes to their kids and I witnessed this first hand. I feel sorry for a newly started bar owner that had to be the bad one to tell a parent to actually parent their kids!!! It's not their place to do this but they are left with this responsibility because of the liability and ownership. Veronica you would like one of those parents that I explained that just let their kids run around and have NO respect for others. Next thing you know your kids are hurt or missing then who's to blame!!!!!!!! Anyways back to the BAR we had a lovely night the band was amazing and the food was also amazing even given that they were packed and alittle under staffed but somehow managed to deliver food in a fast fashion and it was sooo goooood! Later in the night going back to my Veronica post there was a really young child running around parent thought it was cute that he was writing on the bars menus and going up to random men and women and on the dance floor at a late hour doing burnouts. Honestly made me alittle nervous but I thought the bar handled it extremely well and allowed to kid to be a kid. So kudos to the new owners and ignore the Karen's that dont control their kids. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I came here to grab a bite and used the restroom for a few minutes. While I was in there, they knocked on the door TWICE. The second time, a woman actually told me I needed to get out because apparently I was "taking too long." I was literally just trying to finish washing my hands. I've never been rushed out of a restroom like that, especially as a paying customer. It was rude, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. If someone is using the restroom, give them a minute instead of repeatedly knocking and telling them to get out. There are much more respectful ways to handle the situation. Definitely left a bad impression and completely ruined my experience here. 1 star. read more

SHUFFLE BOARD... We grew up around the block and loved the old "2 bar 3", in fact we were super SUPER excited for them to open again, as it is just around the block from us. (LOCAL ALERT) I am actually cringing that I have to do this... THE NEW OWNERS ARE TERRIBLE. We showed up with our kids to eat and walked out back to enjoy the outdoor sunshine during the summer when, BAM owner came out and treated us like criminals "this is not open, the door was locked for a reason" I replied, "well it wasn't locked..." and she said to get back inside. My son left his hat outside, you'd have thought I was in JAIL. she went and looked for the hat because we were clearly not allowed back out there. I suggested she allow me to look... and under her supervision she allowed it, (I found the hat). Today we went for a show (rock and roll babay), the first words she said to me were, "you're crazy", ( for bringing in a baby.. standing outside the door and watching from afar with ear muffs) She then proceeded to tell me that the area was NOT kid friendly (mind you..not a soul in sight) and continued to reiterate that it would not be allowed next time. So... we left, but not after trying to order some food, without a greeting for over an hour. NOT getting my service or a dime of my money. BUT THE BAND WAS AWESOME! Rock on! read more

Now reopened (April 2026) under new management. We're glad to see them open but they are still getting the kinks out. the wait staff was awesome but the food was pretty underwhelming. I'll wait to give a detailed review until they've been open for awhile. read more

Don't waste your time or money going to this restaurant. Food looks nothing like pictured online. Hamburger was so thin-bun was rock hard. Rice under salmon was cold and salmon was over cooked. Two lunches were served and the other 2 lunches were served 30 minutes later. The owner gave us several excuses but did give us 50% off our lunches which would have been $65 for 2 lunches. read more

Prices listed on website menu are not accurate prices. Combo basket food was mostly over done. The chicken strips were good. Kids plates are $6.99 per plate. Chicken fried steak fried in old oil. Husbands fries over done in old oil. Fries were to over done to eat. Hash browns burnt and inedible. Kids mac n cheese was good. Very overpriced for inedible food. read more

SO SO SO excited to see the 2 Bar 3 is open again! I have seen this location go through several owners in the past 11 years (most not lasting very long - kind of a hard location being out of town) and the current owners have really put a lot of money into fixing it up! Doney Park/Winona locals like having a place like this open when they don't want to drive into town for food. Although I miss the western decor of the old 2 Bar 3, the new decor is pretty cool, the food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service was great! They are in the process of adding an outdoor bar, seating area, dance floor and horse shoe pit. So not only can you get good food, but a nice place to hang out or watch the game. They also have karaoke. Fingers crossed they do well. We will be back for sure! =) read more

This is a little known, out of the way, local restaurant and bar and why it is not more popular I do not understand. Maybe more advertising ? Not a sophisticated upscale place but it is a clean, nicely remodeled, historic type of eatery and bar. Really good drive inn diner type food with always attentive and pleasant waitresses. If you want something out of the ordinary and that will get you out of the mad rush of the city, with great food, this is the place for you ! read more

We were on the way to the Grand Canyon from DC and looked on Yelp for a burger place. This place was 10 minutes from the interstate and welcomes pets. Very polite and accommodating young lady took care of us and our dog. The decor is an amazing collection of huge former gas station signs, corrugated drainage pipe, tops of school buses -- all put to good use! Lovely patio seating out back --. Chicken quesadilla and BLT hit the spot. read more

A small, rustic place outside of Flagstaff. Not expensive, and the food is fabulous. Steaks, sandwiches, chicken, etc. DESSERTS are worth the trip by themselves! If you like sports, there are tv's, if not, there is a dining room. Good atmosphere, food and service. read more

We stopped here after a trip to Grand Falls and the crack in the earth. We'd been before and it wasn't so bad, but this time was so horrible we will not return. We walk in and there is maybe 5 people at the bar, one table of two in the bar area and then three tables of 3-4 people in the main dining room. We sat far a few minutes and an extremely flustered woman came up to our table. I told her to sit, she looked tired. She said she was slammed and needed another cook. When she sat down that should have been my queue to leave. Her entire hand was covered in this nasty, thick black scab. Lady, you work with food. Cover that thing up. We order 3 beers, a dozen wings, nachos with sour cream and guac, and an appetizer basket and two corn dogs for the kiddos. She then tells us she thinks they are out of mushrooms. I asked her to check and if they were to give us more zucchini. She agrees. It didn't take her long to bring the drinks. But then, she disappeared. We drank our beers, then sat. And sat. And sat some more... Our friend we were with got up to use the restroom, on the way she asked the guy at the bar to bring us more beer. He did. Then we sat and sat some more... Finally she came out with one corn dog. We had two kids. Who does that!?!! Then our food came. This was exciting because I was famished As she laid down the appetizer basket she said "with extra zucchini. Just like you ordered". No lady, I wanted the mushrooms, you said you were out. We are all so hungry at this point I don't care Wings were so overcooked they had lost about half their size and the meat was hard. Nachos were not as described in the menu, they were chips with halfway melted cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. No meat or salsa. And the entirety of the appetizer basket was overcooked and everything we had ordered was cold. How does that happen? Then she did this disappearing act again (I didn't know we'd get a magic show). When she did appear it was to tell other tables that they were out of what they ordered. One poor guy was told they didn't have hot dogs while the rest of his family's food was coming out. She never came back to ask how anything was or if we wanted drinks or to give us a check. We waited and waited. Then the table across from us waited and waited. My husband got up and went outside. Half of the other table got up and left. We waited.... Finally she came out and asked us if we wanted our check. Yes, genius. That would be great. We get the bill and she still charged us full price for the nachos. Her excuse was that since someone else brought them to the table she didn't get to look at them to make sure they had all the ingredients. If someone works there, they should know the menu. We paid and got out of there, finally. In total we were there for almost 2 hours. Two beers a piece, appetizers and kids hot dogs took two hours. I like the idea of a place that's close to outdoor adventures we like to frequent, but I will not be back to this place again. It would have been faster and way better food had we gone all the way to town and eat. read more

I've just got to say: I love Old Smokey's 2 Bar 3. I love the atmosphere of the place, the beer is terrific, and I love the menu. Everything I've ever ordered here as been top notch. I particularly like the turkey burgers, grilled chicken sandwich, and the wings. These may be the best wings I've ever had and the portion is huge. I couldn't finish mine the last time I ordered them. The wait staff is great and everyone in the place is really friendly. The more you go...the more you'll see people you want to say hi to. read more

This place just reopened June 26th 2015 Rockabilly Royale was holding an event here and this place couldn't seem to pull it together. The place is well decorated and had a good feel of a 50s diner. However the Wait staff was a bunch of older women that were all aloof to their pricing, menu and had no idea how to take care of customers. Many people came in for the drinks because it was hot, took me 20 minutes to get someone's attention for a darn soda. I ordered a French dip sandwich. The menu said it came with au jus, pickle spear, grilled onions and fries....what I got was substandard meat with au jus, fresh diced onion, no pickle and tons of ketchup The fries were good. But I would not come back because the food an service was less than mediocre. I paid 10 bucks for this poor quality of food and service. It did not even come with a drink. They wanted 2 bucks for a tap water....... read more

My family (a group of 13) went out last Friday to celebrate a birthday. It was super fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. I mean everyone from 3 years old on up to the birthday boy of 77 years! We enjoyed our meal, a few beers, the outdoor patio games, music, and dancing. We were all happy with the food and service. The menu has a good selection of burgers, hot sandwiches, kids menu, and a load of appetizers. I had the pulled pork sandwich plate, which was loaded with tasty meat, and a heap of fries cooked just right. The restaurant was full with two large groups as well as other patrons for dinner and at the bar. The staff was congenial and handled the crowd quite well. The place is very clean and affordable. Overall, it was very enjoyable, lively, and comfortable. Thanks for a great evening! We will be back! read more
