Stayed at the hotel for two nights while on a bus tour. The breakfasts were included in our package - a special tour bus menu had enough variety to satisfy everyone. Our "farewell dinner" had been ordered ahead of time and the quality of all food items was excellent. In all cases, the service was speedy and efficient without being intrusive. The restaurant is large and somewhat noisy but the ambiance is fitting of an expensive establishment. Recommended - if you are staying at this hotel, it is the obvious and a good choice.

This is an underrated and hidden gem inside the Little America Hotel (which is also a hidden gem). The ambiance is just fantastic, especially if you like the Christmas ambiance, nice decor, clean, amazing food & great service. We were skeptical because hotel restaurants are not typically great but this one was all worth it! The fish could use a little more seasoning but the pasta salad was uniquely delicious. My mom had the clam chowder soup and she loved it! I want to shout out to Ms. Lee, our waiter. She was super nice & made my daughter's birthday extra special. Thank you!

Fish Tacos (fried & grilled) with a side of guac and a Prickly Pear Margarita to wash that action down, wooo!!

This restaurant rocks. I mean, it ROCKS!! And the fact it's the restaurant of the Little America Resort makes it rock even harder! The restaurant and bar occupy a hugely tasteful open space. There's no claustrophobia goin' on here, heh! The staff is highly professional, friendly, and efficient. They'll make you feel like a long time regular on your first visit! How rare is that in today's service industry? Okay, now the menu: It's top-notch and wide-ranging. There's something for everyone, no joke. That said, the price range is probably the widest I've ever seen at any restaurant I've ever been to. This set my expectations accordingly so I went for something a little on the less-pricey side. What I got, however, was SUBLIME. Fish tacos two ways: Fried & Grilled. Got a big ol' side o' guac to go with those chips, a Prickly Pear Margarita, and I was off to the dang races! Breakfast the next morning was their breakfast burrito which was absolutely delish & filling! I love this restaurant and can't wait to get back again!

Perfect each time we visited while staying at the hotel. Breakfast was great and came out quick, Veggie Omelette and French Toast. Service was good both times we visited. Enjoyed a prickly pear mocktail with the bruschetta board, tempura green beans and duck quesadilla. Would be very happy to come back. Great view out the back with the snow and fire going.

I went for the Thanksgiving dinner by myself. It was expensive, but that gave me high hopes. The soup was delicious, but everything else was mediocre, and not worth the $90. I'd have been better off buying a premade meal from Whole Foods. The booth I was sat in had visible food on the floor that I stepped in. My main concern is the service. My server obviously didn't want to be there, and was very quick and short. I mean, he had to work on Thanksgiving so I can't say that I blame him. It reminded me of getting food from a busy theme park. He didn't offer me anything to drink besides water. He didn't smile, he never said happy Thanksgiving, and didn't even say thank you, or have a good evening. I'm a generous tipper, but I couldn't justify tipping him over the minimum. Based on this experience, I definitely would not come back. I had my heart set on their Christmas dinner too.

It was expensive, they charged me six dollars for a tiny glass of tomato juice. The food is fabulous. Egg was cooked perfect, I enjoyed the rye toast. My favorite was the Applewood bacon. I WOULD RECOMMEND

This business is in the most lovely lodge ever, and aside from when North Pole Experience is going on and the hallway right out front is inundated with fun families in their PJ's carrying teddy bears from Santa, it's a very luxury location. We had occasion to eat there for the first time on our last annual Little America trip and although we took our food back to our room, we thought the restaurant was absolutely beautiful, with to die for views of the Little America lit up pine forest. Most of the dinner food is pricey, but it is large in portions and the quality is excellent. I mean, with prices across the board being what they are these days...it's probably not "over" priced because it would be a beautiful place for a date, or a celebration meal. To me it's probably better for that kind of a scenario than a family meal, but it depends on your budget. We could easily have gotten only one fish and chips and a dessert and shared, it would have been more than enough food. We just didn't know that. The fish was fresh tasting and very white, moist, flaky. The crust breading was so crispy and delicious. The fries were interestingly shaped like wide spirals. Definitely hand cut. We didn't care for the cole slaw but the tartar sauce was fantastic and next time I'd ask for one extra tartar sauce on the side, in place of the cole slaw! If you like your coleslaw kind of spicy and horseradish + mustard seedy you may really like it. There was no sweet/tartness like cole slaw sometimes has, and is our favorite kind. But the cabbage was thinly shaved, fresh and crispy and I'm sure some people love this savory style. We had the Creme Brûlée (just one) for dessert and it was big enough for us to share. It was very delicious. A nice delicate crust burnt on top and a smooth, sweet inside. It was such a treat. This is not a "to go" item because it's cooked into the ramekin so only attempt to order this if you are eating in or are a hotel guest so the ramekin can be returned from your room to the restaurant, please. :) The staff at the front podium wasn't the most available, but they also weren't very busy at the off time we went in, so they were attending to other tasks that have to be done before the rush, at the same time as answering calls. We are very sensitive to people in service industry and understanding that we only see them for a short time and have no idea what all they were attending to. We must realize that they can only focus on one or two things at a time and if we are kind and wait our turn, we will definitely get the best service and maybe get the chance to brighten their night! That's the goal, anyway. Lastly, because we ordered to go, they packed our stuff up and included ample amounts of everything we'd need. Everything had been thought of without having to ask and that is rare. We appreciated that attention to detail so much because our room was far, and we would have had a long walk back if there was something we needed. I'd recommend the holiday meals and buffets at Silver Pines for sure. To be able to eat there and have the menu items they include, it seems like a great option for locals or holiday travelers. PS There is a Kid's menu but we did not try it. Good to know it exists, though.

    Brussels sprouts hash for breakfast

My husband and I had breakfast here with friends. I had a dish made of broccoli, quinoa, Brussels sprouts leaves, potatoes and a fried egg on top, with an English muffin. It was very good. It might have been called Brussels Sprout Hash. My husband's pancake was mediocre, but his sausage and eggs were fine. My coffee tasted bad so I switched to tea. My friend's oatmeal looked good. In addition, the server Cassandra found dried cranberries to add to her oatmeal. The service was very good. I liked the ambiance of this restaurant. As I recall there were big windows with nice view. The restaurant is conveniently located within the Little America hotel. This is a large restaurant.

Each time we travel through Flagstaff, we eat at Silver Pine. They have yet to disappoint. The food, whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, is well-cooked and flavorful. The atmosphere is clean and classy, and the wait staff are courteous. Just don't go making it crowded, okay? :)

I've eaten here countless times and I'm never disappointed. They serve breakfast and lunch and have a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options. I can truly say there's nothing bad on this menu! The staff is always super welcoming and friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. It's a smaller space and it does get pretty busy, so be aware of that. The best part is that the cafe is family owned, with roots in Playa del Carmen, MX. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it's not somewhere I'd return to.

**July 2026: Tuesday and Wednesday Morning**…read more I usually make it a point to try new places when I travel, so the fact that I ate at Forêt FLG twice in the same trip should say everything about how much I enjoyed it. I was initially drawn in after hearing that Chef Sam Greenhalgh was a semifinalist for the 2024 James Beard Award (Best Chef: Southwest), and I was curious to try his food for myself. On my first visit, my friend and I ordered the Canelés de Bordeaux, Pain au Chocolat, Soft Scrambled Egg Plate, and Breakfast Burrito. We came back again for breakfast and tried the scrambled eggs toast and a savory waffle. Everything we had was delicious, but the Soft Scrambled Egg Plate was truly something special. The eggs were unbelievably light and fluffy, paired with perfectly buttered, toasted bread that somehow felt magical in its simplicity. The heirloom tomatoes and creamy avocado added such a fresh, balanced touch. It's a simple dish, but the execution was exceptional--and honestly, that's what makes it so memorable. I know it sounds a little crazy to return twice for something so simple, but it was just that well done. The breakfast burrito was a strong second favorite. We took it to go as we continued our road trip toward the Four Corners Monument, and it held up really well. It was packed with flavor, and I especially loved that the tortilla had a nice crisp to it. The pastries were also excellent--flaky, buttery, and everything you'd hope for--but for me, that scrambled egg plate is the standout and something I would come back for again and again.

We had a standard queen room both times and it's spacious, bathroom has two sinks one in and one out so yconvenient for two people sharing. The pool is a roundish shape but large enough to swim some laps when there aren't a lot of children there. There are four 2 level inter connected buildings and #4 being the furthest away from the lobby - you can park your car (parking is free) close to any building but it's a bit of a walk on foot. Location is a bit out of town not walking distance to downtown Flagstaff. Rating it a 3 star due to service. On a day when they don't seem to be full they still wouldn't accommodate a late check out by just an hour (at noon instead of 11 am) which I didn't think would have made any difference to them but would have made a huge one for us. Then there is the breakfast. Nice dining room and all, but service was slow and the food came lukewarm, this at a time when it was early and hardly anyone in the dining room. And in addition to that, I had tea and it came in a tea pot with one weak tea bag, and as I like my tea strong I asked for another tea bag in the same pot and was told I'd be charged a second pot of tea ($5). This kind of stinginess just doesn't befit the seeming stature of such a hotel. And finally, the teacup they gave me had a long crack in it - I discovered it when i saw the saucer filing up with tea and didn't think I spilled any in it. The crack was old and stained, not a new one, so it was shocking that no staff had noticed it for this long and cared enough to not continue using it. Let's just say I'd never encountered broken cups like this in lesser priced motels. For this trip to Flagstaff I also had a two-night stay in another hotel downtown and other than the swimming pool, it was much better value and more comfortable with more helpful staff - and no broken tea cups!

We had the tamales (both lunch and breakfast plates), classic French toast, fruit cup, sausages, steamed greens, cheesecake, peanut butter chip cookie, and brownie. Loved it all, the scrambled tofu was a surprise hit with the whole crew, pinto beans are cooked from dried with a great creamy consistency, the warm spice in the French toast made it appealing to the grown ups without being "too spicy" for the kids. Home fries were another surprise hit with crispy exterior and fluffy interior on each piece. Desserts were very good - the blueberry cheesecake and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies were the favorites.
