Haven't been to an Oregano's in over a decade. We stayed within walking distance of this one during a recent visit to the area and it was disappointing. Really appreciate the GF options but the food was bland and not hot. The cheese had melted and coagulated by the time it made it to our table. Service was slow for a Sunday evening (server was stocking the bar and we had to flag her a few times). Several individuals in our party had challenges with stomach issues after eating their dinner. The creole pasta lacked flavor (but had a ton of cheese!). This visit did not renew our excitement to try the chain again unfortunately. read more

There is a significant difference in the quality of the food between the two different Oreganos in time. For this reason we almost never dine at the Country Club site but I did today for ease. I honestly hope that the management reads these reviews and takes action. The preparation of the food was below even fast food standards. Garlic on top do the pizza was cloves of garlic halved , the croutons were so large an inconsistent they would not be eaten with the salad. The salad had huge chunks of raw onion that would have to be cut many times to consume. The food was really not very good, racially in comparison with the other location. On top do all of this the service is poor and the restaurant is very cold , no heat in 50 degree weather. read more

The time for door dash was reasonable, stated it could take up for 30 minutes. The dasher did great. The pizza containers were odd, they are so big for "a slice". The kids said the cheese had a weird taste and the consistency was odd. The fries were decent. Soft but I'm okay with it while others I know prefer crispy. The salad was not worth $10 in my opinion. Just lettuce and a handful of sliced veggies. I asked for no onions or crotons so I guess that could add to it. The kids did not finish their pizza because they didn't like the cheese. First time ever they haven't ate pizza. While quick, I think they could improve. The inperson wait was over 30 minutes. It's by hotels. It has a good market. Food was great, and the motif was very cool. Service wasn't the greatest, but given the power outage locally, and a packed house, you could see they were trying. I would imagine if it was a normal weeknight, or weekend they'd have the appropriate staff available. Otherwise great place on the outskirts of Flagstaff. Enjoy! read more

Bailee is A-MA-ZING! They would be silly not to promote her to manager. We came in with our little 18 month old and she was so kind to her. She brought a very great vibe to our table and made us feel at home. She was very prompt and proactive with our table, although she had a completely full section, but kept composure extremely well. She should write the book on service. The food was excellent as always and the atmosphere was on point, but Bailee went above and beyond to make our experience very extra special. I have no idea why this place is getting such negative reviews. The prices are very reasonable and the food is consistently delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to town with large parties or a single date night, and ask for Bailee! read more

We went to dinner as a family- got brought the incorrect pizza. No biggie, they said they would make another one. We waiting 30 minutes for a rare pizza- like when you held the piece up everything fell off. When we spoke to the staff, they took the pizza off- but offered no other option or fix. So all in all we waited about an hour for food we couldn't eat. Horrible. Where was a manager to come talk to us? Time reference we got there at 6 and left at 7:45. We can't say anything about the staff or what the restaurant looks like, as we ordered this from DoorDash to our hotel. It had great reviews online, and we always try local places when we are traveling, so we had to try it. We ordered the Alfredo the Dark, The Diablo Pasta, Mac and cheese, meatballs and the ravioli (fried). Everything was amazing. So much flavor, fresh and wonderfully seasoned and cooked. We were bummed because we didn't get the ravioli and have never had fried ravioli so we were really looking forward to it, but we won't even take off a star for that- we know mistakes happen, and overall the food was delicious. After a day of car travel, it was nice to be able to walk from the hotel to the dinner spot. We were seated in a nice booth. We ordered a pepperoni and black olive pizza which we thought was hand tossed but ended up being a deep dish. Not sure how we missed that in the menu. Even the server said are you ok with a 25 min wait which should have triggered the question but we missed it. The pizza was way more food than we needed for two people that can't take leftovers. So no idea why this place has a 3.8 star. Hosts was friendly seated fast. Sara the waiter was spot on the whole time food was great. The environment was great. I'd give it a 4.8 star and there's only two reasons for that one. I got the raviolis for the starter and they're a bit oily for what I like and two the pasta I ordered, which was Alfredo the dark. I added chicken and artichokes. The only part I was a little disappointed in was everything else was hot, but the artichokes are pretty cold so it just threw me off a little bit and that's only a preference. I would've liked them to be at least warmed up. But awesome place great food. I passed it probably 100 times didn't even know I was here. I'm staying at the hotel right next to it so it's convenient and a little skeptical with a 3.8 stars but don't let that bring you down it's a great place. read more

We placed a large order for a birthday party this afternoon, and the pizza was good as usual but I have to say the wings were excellent! The twins (birthday boys) loved the broccoli as well. The only thing the restaurant forgot was our Antipasto salad. I called them and they were happy to credit the item when I had a chance to come back in to get it taken care of. I didn't expect the credit and the missing salad both. I would have been fine with just the credit on the order. Needless to say the service was exceptional. My recent experience at Flagstaff Oregano's: I have worked in a few restaurants in MO, IN and AZ. I know what it feels like when things aren't going right. And when the kitchen is struggling everyone from there down to the bussers feel it. It's understandable. It happens. Not every night will be perfect. One of my self-proclaimed mottos/wisdoms is "It's not what you do that completely defines you. It's what you do ABOUT what you do that better defines who you are." So it doesn't matter what was wrong with my to go order. What matters is that Brooke (to go counter) and Kaitlyn (mngr) took care of me. They acknowledged my concern and agreed with me. I felt validated. I don't like complaining; but they made me comfortable. They didn't offer excuses. Kaitlyn personally remade my entire order AND let me keep the original attempt!! I didn't ask for that and I would never have hoped for that. I didn't need to. On a tough night at work, Brooke and Kaitlyn surpassed my expectations in this situation and took care of me. They made me feel like I mattered to them and to Oregano's. That's what defines their character. Finally, I'd like to think Kaitlyn and Brooke were able to do what they did because they are empowered by Oregano's upper management to simply take care of it's loyal customers......like they did for me. read more

Went to dinner with my family and ordered some appetizers (garlic bread, boom dip and fried zucchini). The appetizers were average for the most part but the zucchini was soggy and we could tell it came from a frozen bag. We ordered the Zany Ziti and Numero Uno (deep dish) and both were disappointing. The sauce for the Ziti tasted like Ragu with 2 pounds of sugar added and was mostly inedible. The Numero Uno was undercooked and the dough was visibly raw. We advised the manager about the pizza and he tried to say it was "dough soaked in sauce" we pulled apart the dough and showed it was raw. He did not offer to put it back in the over just took it from the table. Finally, my daughter was still hungry so we got her the chocolate chip pizookie and man this place does not know its cook times. It was extra crispy on the edges and top but completely raw in the middle and just under the surface. We ended up elsewhere for dinner as we were still hungry. We got the pan pizza- Clark, and never before in the history of pizzas have I gotten as much cheese as I add at home! It was fabulous and the fresh basil made it over the top. However, the service wasn't great. While the food came reasonably quickly, we never got a refill on water and the food was 20% more than the waitress told us it would be. I specifically asked, because there was no price on the printed menu what the Clark *pan* pizza would be and was told one thing and charged another. This salas was amazing I can eat that everyday with no problems and it was big enough of for two ppl. We stopped when traveling home to Phoenix yesterday and ordered wings well done and a 19" pizza with mushrooms and onions. The wings were not well done and the pizza was actually served without any marinara! We've eaten at Oregano's many times over the years and it has steadily declined. The wings were undercooked, the pizza was terrible, the service was horrible because the bar was understaffed (she apologized for our crappy pizza but did nothing) and the manager didn't do as much as offer us a free mimosas. We had to wait for marinara and ranch to go for over 10 minutes. Avoid Flagstaff Oregano's. read more
