Where do I begin, I looked on the website and saw they had a reservation within 10 minutes, we were already in the casino so just walked on over, the host was very rude and said they couldn't sit us for another hour and a half. I pulled up the website and said ok, I'll just book the reservation that is available in 5 minutes, she gave an attitude and decided to sit us. Once we were seated, our appetizers came very fast, however, "dinner" was an hour and 50 min wait!! The "entrees"all came at different times so when one person was finished, someone else was barely getting there's. Extremely disappointing because the place wasn't even packed. Been to a lot of luxury restaurants, this was one of the worse experiences food wise I have had. The server was great, but he could not make up for the low quality of the food. The crispy eggplant was over glazed with a very sweet sauce, completely dominated the dish. The Mac and cheese tasted like they mixed cigarette ashes in it, we had to send it back. The Sunday roast was not trimmed properly and had huge globs of inedible not rendered fat. For what they charge here it was pretty shocking as I love the Hell's Kitchen in Tahoe. I will not return. The place has only opened a week ago and we were able to have a nice dining experience before we headed back home. The place was not too busy and we were able to get seated right away. They currently are not enforcing a dress code. As soon as we were seated our server provided the menu and took our drink orders which was promptly give. To us and then we placed our order. We ordered the following: Salted caramel espresso martini, Rose, crispy salmon skin, puree potatoes, brussel sprouts, filet mignon. The food came hot and beautifully plated. It may seem like small portions but we could have done without the sides of brussel sprouts and potatoes as we had so much left. Fortunately every single item was delicious!! Our server checked in on us enough times and they kept our drinks topped through entire meal. I own a restaurant in Colorado, so I know something about food. My eggplant appetizer wasn't even luke warm. At the end of the meal, the bus boy put our two different entrées and all the vegetables into one container. No cup for the béarnaise sauce. Not even a mediocre restaurant would do that. Visited the restaurant on my husband's birthday, 9/13/24. This was the first GR restaurant we visited, and it did not disappoint. As soon as we sat down, we were greatest by the assistant waiter Luis, and he always made sure we were doing good during our time there. We also had amazing recommendations by our waiter, John . We started with our appetizer the pork sliders, which were amazing and also had a salad. Then for our entrée my husband has the beef wellington, which was delicious, and I had the 8oz filet mignon. The food was good, but I am going to say our waiters, John and Luis, made our experience memorable . My husband loved their cocktail spiced pear but wanted a bit more spice. John asked for a special request to see if they were able to come up with something, and our bartender Kristen did, and my husband loved it! Was finally able to get into Ramsays Kitchen in the Legacy last week! There was a group of 10 of us and everything went great. I had the veal chop, which apparently Gordon only prepares and serves at a few select locations at a time. Anyhow I decided to roll the dice and give it a shot, boy-o-boy it was worth it! Totally incredible, flavorful and succulent! Every bite was unimaginable delicious and I intend to try and make it back in before it's no longer there. As an appetizer we had their $18 buck bread rolls which were tasty but not sure if worthy of an eighteen dollar price tag! The nice thing about such as large group is we got to see a lot of the other dishes and really they all looked splendid! Atmosphere was quiet and didn't smell a whiff of smoke from the adjacent downstairs casino floor the entire meal. This was my first time ever going to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant and it was fantastic! The restaurant was bigger then I expected and had a great ambiance. Our server was so attentive and kind and constantly check in on us throughout the service. The food was a little pricey but we knew this prior to arriving, and expected it to be in the higher ranges. For a high end restaurant it should have been walled off from the casino, it reeked of cigarette smoke, and now our clothes also smell of cigarette smoke. Food was way overpriced. No bathrooms in the restaurant, had to walk out to the casino floor to dirty bathrooms through the casino rif raf. $1300 meal bill with tip for 8 of us, 2-3 drinks each, entree each and 6 appetizers. Guess I would have expected more from a restaurant that holds itself to Ramsay standards. We live in Reno, and went there at a friends request. Never worth eating in the casinos, and definitely never going back. Just stay away. And "Ryan B," whoever you are, every response to negative feedback is the same generic AI response. We love Gordon Ramsay's restaurants but this was a big disappointment. We sat at the bar on a Sat night around 6pm. We sat there for about 10 minutes until someone finally acknowledged us. Several bartenders kept walking by like we were invisible. Ordered an old fashioned and martini. Both just ok. Salad was great and crab cake was ok. We had to call the bartender over just so we could pay. Everyone at the bar had the same bad service. Two managers were walking around doing nothing. So sad! We won't return. read more

What a lovely addition to the Reno dining scene Chef Ramsay has a splendid menu with a lovely dining room great five bar amazing wine list the service is some of the best you'll get anywhere but probably one the best I've had in Reno. The menu offers quite a variety of high-quality choices, although I must say it is missing dietary restrictions and symbols for those of us who need these things it was noticeably absent. The corn soup veal the Sunday pot roast, and the soup was off the chain spectacular. I can't wait to go back and try more items. You definitely want to come here for dinner read more

First time visiting Ramsay's Kitchen and I loved it! My husband and I decided to make a reservation for his birthday in February. We were seated immediately and our server went into detail about the food menu as well as the drink menu. We had booked the experience reservation which included a three course meal of a crab cake, beef Wellington and the sticky toffee pudding. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were perfect (I even had leftovers to take) My husband and I both ordered two specialty cocktails each and they were tasty. When you try a new place, you can't absorb the experience until well after, and you are always hopeful. I give them the benefit of the doubt, but then, the sum of the visit, will tell. The service was good! The food? Don't play. Too $ to play. Brussels sprouts should be trimmed more of the rough outer leaves or check your supplier as they all were difficult to chew; tasty though. The Wellington was not as good as other places or a neighbor's I've had. The plating looked weird, with the pearl onion and carrot like soggy chewy water balls lacking any flavor and the puréed potatoes like smooth sticky starchy glue! I am an expert on puréed potatoes. There was an overpowering flavor from the demiglace and mushrooms. Probably too concentrated, maybe dilute a bit as it was also clotting (gelling with the starch of the squishy pastry) The marriage turning gloppy on my fork and into my optimistic palate. We do have a very dry climate. I love savory so that was tolerable. I adore salt and flavor so most of it was fine in that department. The pastry on the Wellington was ok. It did not seem right. I think these tiny versions are strange. Almost like they are premade, frozen, or something? With pastry it has to be fresh out of the oven without storing. It was brought to the table cold and frozen midway through. The New York steak was nice, but not $90 nice! Ridiculous, with a tiny bit of spinach and a roasted tomato bite. The burrata salad was just ok. The veggies were odd together and not fresh. Sorry, but a drive through can have fresher. If I can make it better, then why go out? Especially for these silly prices. The Love Potion mocktail was slightly yummy. Too much lime making it pack a serious pucker. I will make it myself and love it, and I'm no mixologist. I often feel embarrassed to be a victim of culinary capitalism; an unspoken acknowledgement by the staff and customers as we chit chat through plastic smiles. The people there were truly real and good as I expressed to both managers. Keep that class. I love them checking in. I just wish the food could back it up. I am hesitant to try the one in Tahoe. 3 Star A for effort. I know it's Casinoland, Reno, but then don't price it like LA or NY. read more

We were so excited to try this place! I took my husband for his birthday last night and we ordered the beef Wellington and the prime rib roast. The $70 beef Wellington was ok...nothing special to be honest, but the $70 dollar prime rib Sunday roast was cold salty and so was the Au jus. The side was a couple carrots and a couple French fries? I give this a middle ground because nothing wowed me. I came in with higher expectations and it was good but nothing that would make me want to come back. The service was good and the staff were super nice and informative. The wait time once seated was very slow, the wait time took a while as well also. We came at 9 and didn't finish until almost 11. We got the fried eggplant, tuna tartare, and Parker rolls for our appetizers. The fried eggplant was good and crispy, the tuna tartare was flavorful and well marinated but there wasn't enough wonton chips to accompany them, the Parker rolls were light and airy but wasn't anything special either. The entrees were mixed for us. I absolutely loved the beef Wellington! The meat was tender and overall so flavorful with the ultra creamy potato purée. This was a staple and now I understand why. The prime rib was a disaster. I don't know if it was a certain cut or if this was all that was left but it was so overcooked, and thick cut, and fatty and it just was not good at all. For $70 a piece it should've been perfect. Why ask what type of style you prefer the meat if it's coming out overcooked. The color was gray and just was not appetizing at all. The drinks were different, we got the mocktails and the lychee cooler was a little too tart for my liking. Overall this is a decent place to try but it's nothing that changed my life or would make me want to return. The ambiance is super nice though and presentation was everything. read more

We went for our anniversary, my husband told the staff on the reservation it was for our anniversary and we requested to be seated in a nice place. My husband is a big man about 300 pounds, 6'3. They sat us in a little booth smooshed next to two other couples to the point that if I stuck out my arm I could touch the couple next to me. We were super uncomfortable and the staffed who sat us was unfriendly and unpleasant. Thankfully our waitress was a gem and made the experience so much better. It was on my bucket list to eat at one of Ramsey,s kitchens. Big fan of Gordon,s shows and food. I had the Wellington and it did not disappoint. My husband had the New York strip and he said it was delicious. The drinks are amazing too. Our service was perfect Lisa did an amazing job. One of the table clearers dropped a bottle near our table and glass was on me and my husbands feet. The manager just asked him to sweep it up but never asked us if we were okay. Later on after we were finished he asked if we had a good meal. It would have been nice if he had asked if we were okay. The ambiance was nice but loud. Very pricey for an upscale restaurant. My husbands steak was 96.00 and it comes with nothing. So go for the experience but don't if you are on a budget. read more
