(Docking a star because the business representative used a GPT-written response and didn't address my concerns directly. I agree with Yelp's outlawing of GPT-written content--it should be enforced for businesses as well.) Brand name? Yes. Lively setting? Yes. Great service? Yes. Memorable fine dining? Not really. The pulled pork sliders were highly recommended but they ended up being middle-of-the-road bar food. The Chicken Milanese which was presented as the best chicken I'd ever have was satisfying but bland. People will discount my expectations as being snobbish and high, but when a restaurant has single-serving menu items priced at $100, it has to be fully committed to being distinct from an upscale sports bar. Having Beef Wellington on the menu can't carry the whole operation. read more

I think the food was okay. I thought that the best food item available was the sticky toffee. It had a variety of different flavors and textures that did well in complimenting each other. I thought the beef wellington was disappointing. The texture was good, however the flavor of the dish mainly came from the mash and red wine demi-glaze. The beef wellington itself was fairly bland. The Mac and Cheese was made with a delicious cheese. Overall dish presentations were as expected for a fine dining restaurant but nothing exciting. The house created cocktail was great. However, I think our server was disappointing. He served us our appetizer and main courses, however anything extra we would have to ask a different server. Anything such as water refills, more napkins, extra utensils, and our dessert was given by other servers. Our frustrations with our server grew when we noticed that we could visually see him mingling with his other co-workers for 45 minutes. This made boxing our togos and paying for the meal much longer than needed. The ambiance was good, and it felt like a good date spot. I thought that the restaurant itself was okay and overpriced especially when comparing other restaurants within the same price range in tourist areas such as Napa, Yountville, or San Francisco. read more

Horrible My husband and I got the chicken strips and fish and chips. My husband mistook the chicken for his fish. the fish looked liked Van Decamps from filets. The chicken was ok but the batter dip looked like fish filets. Extremely disappointing experiance. read more

I'm actually FLOORED that this place doesn't have 5 stars on here! I recently went with my husband for our wedding anniversary and it was fantastic! I've also been to Hell's Kitchen in Tahoe a few times so I'm no stranger to a Ramsay restaurant. First and foremost, our server Natalie was a literal angel on earth. A delight to chat with, and we were never left wanting for anything. We paid extra ($25) for the kitchen view seating, which was awesome. It was like watching an episode of Hell's Kitchen play out in front of us, minus the yelling and swearing . Only downside was that the booth was huge for only 2 of us. I wish there were some smaller booth options, but still with the kitchen view. Now the most important part: THE FOOD! We started with the lamb lollipops, delicious but pretty small. I have to give them huge props on the fried eggplant though, I usually hate eggplant but it was so dang good! For our mains, I did the beef Wellington and hubby had the veal. The wellington was divine, and I left with a very satisfied belly. My husband unfortunately left pretty hungry, I do feel that for how small the veal is it should maybe have a more substantial side. Thankfully, this wasn't a big enough deal to affect my rating and we will definitely be back! read more

This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience, especially for the price. We ordered chicken wings that had almost no flavor and weren't even cooked all the way through. Everyone's main course was far too salty, and the drinks were very average for what we paid. Honestly, I would have had a better meal at Outback Steakhouse, which is saying something. For how expensive this restaurant is, the quality of the food and drinks did not come close to meeting expectations. I feel like I wasted my money and left more upset than satisfied. At the very least, the restaurant should acknowledge these issues and do something to make this right. Until then, I would not recommend this place and will not be coming back. read more

Nice ambience, modern and sleek, and it did not reach the noise level where you couldn't have a conversation. I am writing first to SING THE PRAISES of the staff! We were greeted so warmly by all involved - the hostess, the water server, the server and the runners from the kitchen. Everything was seamless. Our server, Natalie, was one of the best servers I've ever had! She was so warm but so professional and knew the menu and wine list so well. She recommended the Malbec and she did not go wrong. For a high end restaurant, it was sort of reasonably priced at $18.95. We had THE PARKER ROLLS....I could have had an order of those and a glass of wine and been perfectly happy. We also had the tuna tartare (outstanding), the lamb lollipops (outstanding, but pricey) and split a Caesar. I loved the dressing, the soft boiled egg and the pancetta, but I would have loved it just a little bit more if there was an anchovey option. It's big enough for two. Two of us had the Beef Wellington and two had the filet with broccolini. The Wellington was really good, but my filet was - again - outstanding. Perfectly medium rare, perfectly crusted. Broccolini was perfactly charred. We also split the chocolate tart (I didn't try it but it looked good and got eaten up) and the sticky toffee pudding. I have made STP many times and this is a beautiful rendition with mascarpone ice cream. Decaf cappucino was great. Yes, it's expensive but we had a locals' card and got 20% off. We're also going to try the three course dinner for $59.95 (last reservation at 5:30). I will ask - no, beg! - for Natalie next time! read more

First, the goods: it's a beautiful restaurant, spread out over a large area. With the warm, dim lighting, it creates a beautiful atmosphere on the mezzanine level - very classy! Although I enjoy his restaurant at Harvey's Lake Tahoe, it kind of feels cramped. This, on the other hand, is very spacious and comfortable. I had my meal at the bar, as usual, and I had a great time. Bryson, the bartender, server, made sure of it. I splurged on a glass of Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne, which I always have at his restaurants. To go with this I did the Caesar Salad and the Grilled Lobster Tail. Normally I don't have any issues with his dishes. I've always felt that he puts a lot of thought and energy into what he serves. I really like that the menus are focused on fewer, high quality dishes rather than a big menu, with so many choices, that you know some of the dishes can't be as fresh. Both of the dishes I tried failed to a certain degree. The Caesar had a wonderful lemony garlic dressing with a beautiful soft cooked egg. However, instead of anchovies, he 's added these thick cut, little pieces of chewy pancetta. I gave up trying to eat them, as I wasn't able to chew them. Also, the flavor didn't do anything for the dish and was distracting. Had I been paying better attention, I probably wouldn't have ordered the lobster tail. I just saw lobster tail and went for it. Unfortunately, it's in a curry sauce, which completely overwhelms the lobster flavor (and my champagne). As this restaurant is still fairly new, I hope he does some adjustments to these two dishes. read more

Our server, Ryan, was incredible. Everything he recommended came out delicious! We ordered the Beef Wellington and the Sunday Roast, along with Behind Blue Eyes and Sierra Siesta for drinks. We split the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet but not overly so. My only critique would be that I wish it came with more ice cream. The decor is trendy and it was busy, but we were able to secure a reservation for 6:00pm on a Friday at around 4pm same day. Overall, I would say that it is pricey but the food was giving comfort food vibes. I could see us coming back for a special occasion/date night! read more

Wow we are here before all the popularity. When we went the grand opening had not happened. This place makes you feel like you are in Vegas without the crowds. The food was good. I'm for SF so it seemed affordable for fine dining. We liked the salad a lot and the beef Wellington. I thought the salad portion was generous and the service was good we basically got our own waiter. The sticky pudding was good but heavy. Some of the menu items were not available since they were not full blown open! Parking is free, and they take card!! Will be back for a special occasion read more

First off, the decor was gorgeous. We had excellent service from everyone- from the hostess to the waitress to the young man refilling water. Now onto the food. Cocktails consisted of an espresso martini and a Long Island. Both drinks were fantastic! Starters began with a half order of the oysters Rockefeller and then went onto a salad. My boyfriend said there was wayyy too much vinegar in the dressing. So much so, that he barely ate any of it. I told him that he should say something, but he decided not to. For the main, I ordered the filet mignon and my boyfriend got the beef Wellington. Since the main course does not come with sides, like most upscale restaurants, we decided to share the potato purée and the roasted carrots for our sides. The big problem was my entrée and both sides came out well before the beef Wellington. I know that beef Wellington has a specific cook time. But by the time it finally came, my meat was barely warm. For the price point of this restaurant, I would expect better on their timing. We were quite disappointed with this, as well as the salad. (I know they were pretty busy, and they did have semi - celebrity Eric Estrada, sitting at the back table, so I don't know if the kitchen was ready to handle the big crowd or if it was something else). The filet was otherwise great and so were the sides. My boyfriend said that the beef in his Wellington was a little bit bland and dry. As I have celiac disease, I was not able to try it myself. I know this just opened up in July and Gordon Ramsay has not been able to make it out yet to do a quality check. Perhaps after this happens, we will return again. I think all of these are easily fixable items and I think in a while, we would be glad to come back again. read more

We had such a great experience at Ramsey's Kitchen. The restaurant isn't as refined as the Ramsey Hell's Kitchen locations, but it doesn't seem to be the vibe. The food was amazing, our service was on point and the drinks were superb. 100% would love to go back when visiting Reno. read more

We made a reservation for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. It was horrible trying to find parking in the Circus Circus parking garage. Ramsey's Kitchen is located in the Row where it is bustling with people walking throughout the casino. It is not difficult to find, but the restaurant is an open concept where people can look inside the restaurant as they walk by. When we were seated at a table, our server was prompt in getting drink orders. We ordered the following: - Crispy Eggplant: the eggplant was cut into cubes, inside was soft and outside was crispy, it was seasoned well, I am not a huge fan of eggplant is it was average for me - Beef Wellington: the beef melted in my mouth and pairs so well with the outside dough, the serving was smaller than I expected, the side of potato purée was absolutely delicious because it was so smooth and saltiness/hint of sweetness in it. I do not like potatoes served this way usually, but this is exceptional. - Pan Seared Scallops: the scallops and pork belly were cooked to perfection, however, there were only 3 pieces. I was really expecting 5 pieces because it is a main dish and it is pricey. - Sticky Toffee Pudding: this dessert is a must try when going to any of Gordon Ramsey's restaurants. It is sweet, but not to a level where you cannot finish it. The ice cream works so well with the airy and light of the sponge cake. Overall, the experience is top tier because the staff checked in on us a few times to make sure everything tasted good. The food is extremely expensive for the amount of food you are getting, but it is something you should experience if you are into the famous dishes by Gordon Ramsey. Do not expect to leave feeling full if you do not want to spend extra. I will not come here unless I was craving the Beef Wellington and Sticky Toffee Pudding. I would like to try the other items on the menu, but it would be another day. Our total came out to almost $200 for two people plus two drinks on top of the items listed above. After tips, it was well over $200. read more

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4/5 My husband and I came here to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary on Thursday evening. Concerned about a wait time, we had a made a reservation but it wasn't busy at all. Our waiter was great and attentive. We ordered the sweet corn soup, beef Wellington and spring pea maccheroni. While my husband very much enjoyed his dish, mine was okay. It was a bit dry and the flavor was a bit lacking. Overall enjoyed our dinner but wouldn't say we were too impressed read more

Service was kind, & I loved the romantic feel of the room. Sad to say I was a bit let down by the flavor. Not by the sliders though, those were absolutely delicious! They were a little dry, but overall the taste was great. The steak was cooked perfectly. I personally wasn't a fan of the potatoes; I felt they had a bit of a gummy texture which was hard to get by. The fresh baked bread and butter was great! They had a small mocktail menu which was great and helps everyone feel included in the party, so I was extremely grateful! I'm not sure we will be back for a full dinner, but I would absolutely go back for a refreshing mocktail and the sliders. read more

OK, I had to see what all the hype was about, so my wife and I decided to book a table for my birthday, and wow, what gift this was! Ambiance was a little quieter for a Monday, which was expected, but I can see how they'd be able to handle a busier atmosphere. That being said, let's dig in. Yeah yeah, it's Gordon Ramsay, so of course I had to have the Beef Wellington...um...YEAH YEAH! Absolutely amazing! I don't think I said much after the first bite because I was anticipating the next bite already! Sorry, I was so excited that I forgot that prior to this I had the Harvest Salad and my wife had the Roasted Beet Salad. They we very good indeed! For our main, we also had the Chicken Milanese...also, very very good! Did I mention how amazing the Beef Wellington was? Yeah, it was one to write home about...or write on Yelp. :) Our side was the Mac and Cheese...with gouda!! Eyes rolled back in the head after the first bite! Holy moly that was incredible. I can't find anything wrong with anything! For dessert we combined the salted caramel espresso martinis and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. No, it's not JELLO pudding, but a hefty drizzle of toffee decadence. Again, why is this place so good? Oh, must be that Gordon guy! If you ever get the chance, try it at least once. I doubt you'll be disappointed. Cheers! read more

First time visitor to a Gordon Ramsey restaurant...long time viewer of all his shows. First the food was AMAZING!!! When your meal is delivered you receive a total description of what has arrived! And the food is as good as expected if not better. BUT the highlight of the visit was our waiter, Michael. He was beyond great, very knowledgeable and accommodating. He helped explain what you are tasting. Even gave hints on how to make things at home (shrimp cocktail far exceeded any expectations and was a total surprise). For us, this was a once in a lifetime experience and made exceptional by Michael and the outstanding preparation of our food. Absolutely worth the visit and experience!! read more

Ramsay's Kitchen in the Silver Legacy Casino seemed just okay to me. I found the scallops with demi glaze to be a little too salty for me and the sticky toffee dessert had caramel sauce which I found too sweet. My parents had different entrees which they found only okay as well. However, their bread rolls and ice cream chocolate tart are good. The bread is fluffy with a hint of salted butter and the chocolate tart has a balanced flavor. Even though I expected to be "wow-ed", I still recommend to try this place yourselves anyways :) read more

Came here twice already ! The beef Wellington is so soft; it melts in the mouth, good portion as well. The others must try are Brussels sprouts and Toffee Pudding. Cripsy eggplant is vey bland in my opinion, pan seared scallops is tasty but so little. Good location and great customers service. The drinks both cocktail and mocktail are very watery. Won't order them again. The decor is very nice, cozy. It's quite noisy if you get seated outside. Make sure you ask for the local discount if you are. The food was HORRIFIC!! The beef wellington and chicken were tasteless and had zero seasoning. The wellington was $70 and was supposed to be medium rare but I could still see the white of the fat....I could not be more disappointed in my experience; My partner and our 2 daughters were really sad since we are long-time watchers of Hell's Kitchen, and the taste did not match the appearance or expectations from what we saw. Highly recommend the Sunday roast, which was juicy and flavorful with a perfect Yorkshire pudding. I had the chicken Milanese, which was also nice, great sauce with Dijon mustard and cream, and a sprinkling of arugula. My tomato soup was decent, but not hot enough to warrant the lidded cast iron pot it came in. They brought the desserts from another table while we were still eating our entrees. So, we asked them to box up our entrees and bring the menu. The cranberry orange Eton mess was bizarre. It's usually a parfait, but this was a giant bowl of cranberry orange relish left over from Thanksgiving with some whipped cream and broken meringues. The cheesecake that they brought before looked normal lol. Also some confusion about who our server would be in the beginning and taking our water order. The manager made the rounds halfway through the meal asking how everything was. That seems to be the extent of his job description. Not bad service, but a bit chaotic. The kitchen was great. read more

Made a reservation for Valentines weekend (Sunday) and I would say eating this place a 3 is a little harsh but 4 is too good for it as well. I'd rate it a 3.5 due to these reasons: the crab cake was a little dry and they let the hot plate sit under the heat lamp with a small salad on it before the crab cake was done. Therefore the salad was warm and not as refreshing as it could have been. The beef Wellington was just okay. Compared to ones I have made it was subpar. The steak part was great and melted in your mouth, the crust wasn't as crispy as it should have been, and it had a lot of olive tapenade in it making the whole thing taste dark/burnt (so I scrapped it out). The mashed potatoes under it/to the side was cold already making us think they plated it and didn't leave it under a heat lamp as they waited on the steak to be cooked. The lobster was good, the risotto al dente but didn't stick together like it should have. The Valentine's Day profiteroles were disappointing. It's like they let the ice cream sit before delivering so it was half melted. Same thing happened to the toffee pudding ice cream, half melted before delivered but very much loved the taste of the toffee pudding itself. Ambiance was nice and our server Lisa was just amazing, just a doll. Made dinner extremely fun. You have to sit in her section! You can request it! read more

When asked if we were celebrating a special occasion the response after revealing our friend's birthday was nil. The food I will admit was good .The service was unfriendly, indifferent, and disorganized. We asked to split two salads and you would think we had asked them to reinvent the wheel. The menu was disappointingly limited and uncreative also VERY expensive.( $12.50 for 6 parker house rolls) This restaurant is simply a money making machine for Gordon Ramsey and I don't think he is a nice enough person for his name alone to guarantee success for his organization. read more

Celebrated our anniversary here. Made reservations and got seated promptly. My girlfriend is lactose intolerant. We got the crab cake and pork sliders. Crab cake was meaty but they put way too much sauce on it. Sliders were ok but a tad dry. For our mains, she got the Sunday roast and I got the beef Wellington. The Wellington was way smaller than the one in Hells Kitchen Tahoe. Disappointed by the portion size. The Sunday roast was good, but was not a fan of the Yorkshire pudding. Never had it before but I guess it tasted like a crispy omelette. We got a complementary sticky toffee pudding and the portion is surprisingly small compared Hell's Kitchen Tahoe. I wish there were dairy free dessert options. Hell's Kitchen Tahoe offered sorbet at least. The service was good, but our drinks took a long time to come out. Wish I could have had my wine when the Wellington's came out. The server assistant Jake was very attentive. Overall, this is Ramsey restaurant is fine, but I would recommend Hell's Kitchen Tahoe for the better Gordon Ramsey experience. read more

This review is for Ramsay's kitchen in Circus circus, Reno. I am not sure why it's not showing up on yelp. I am a big fan of eating at Gordon Ramsey restaurants since I used to live in Las Vegas, and this one is one of my least favorite. We stumbled upon this place while we were visiting the midway at circus circus for my daughter's 3rd birthday. The place ambiance was nice and intimate. We came with 4 years old and 3 years old kids and a little disappointed that they don't have kids menu but it was not a big deal since we can always find something else for them. We ordered Parker roll and mac and cheese for the kids. They love their food and the food came out fairly quick. We ordered roasted baby beet salad, crispy eggplants, butternut squash soup, everyday Sunday roast, pan seared scallops, and crispy skin salmon. Roasted baby beet salad had overpowering taste of horseradish. The problem was with the entrees. It came out over 30 minutes after we got the salad and food for the kids. The place wasn't busy since it was on Monday night and I am not sure why it took so long especially since the entrees we ordered should not take long to make. Crispy eggplants was crispy but was a little bit oily. Nothing extra ordinary about the other entrees. We got a free sticky pudding dessert for my daughter's birthday. With the price that they are charging for each dish, I expected more out from the dining experience. I would say skip this restaurant when you are in Reno. There are other better fine dining restaurants that you can get your money worth. read more

His recommendations were on point; from the starters and drinks, to the desserts. The food was very good and well seasoned, but I need to warn people that it's very light on the serving size. But what the food lacked in size, it made up in taste. We ate everything and the strawberry dessert was delicious. I would recommend two starters, two soups or split a large salad, a main with sides and a shareable dessert to go home full for a party of two. It was worth the price and hopefully, we make it back. read more
