Good lord the line for this took me out. It doesn't move that fast either but this is so worth it. Got the sesame scallion twist and it was so flaky, buttery and had a slight tang to it. Then the early gray morning bun is quite literally tea in a bun. Soft, rips apart and has a slight crunch to it.
Food/drinks: sooo good! Unique flavors and everything we ordered was a hit. I'd come again for the savory croissants and their sandwiches!! Huge portions as well! I wouldn't wait in a long line for it though Also very unique, flavorful chocolate croissant, it is heavy heavy on the chocolate Atmosphere: tiny and cramped and usually a line, good for to go and has 4 bar seats and a few small tables outside Service: fast! Line moves fast, smaller variety of pastries ranging $6-8 but all gorgeous and tempting + Tomato croissant: super flaky crust with egg custard like middle and juicy tomato slice on top (8.5/10) + Blueberry corn croissant: glistening blueberries on top, flaky crust, custard filling. Sweet flavor air bomb (7.5/10) + Corn focaccia ($6): heard good things about their focaccia, middle was softer / wetter from the cheese and corn. Edges were crispy (7.9/10)
Had the Corn Cake which was delicious. Perfectly moist with a sugar crust on the top. I also got the cheese bear claw and stone fruit pastry. Those were certainly beautifully made, but were not my personal favorites. They were good though. Quick service. But they run out quick. Get there early!
Dropped by Radio Bakery on the Tuesday morning after Memorial Day and the lines weren't too crazy. I got there in time to grab some breakfast items and baked goods, and then waited at a table outside for the lunch items to get set out around 11AM. I'm usually more of a savory girlie but all the sweet items we tried were great, especially the rhubarb croissant and the earl grey morning bun. I really enjoyed the focaccia sandwiches (smoked salmon and pea/mint/feta were elite) and the artichoke green garlic slice. The flavor of the sesame stirato was excellent but the bread itself was a tad too chewy for the filling we got with it (tuna salad), so that style probably works better with the jambon beurre. Will definitely be on the rotation whenever I'm in the city -- would love to try some of their seasonal/limited edition items one day, though not sure if I have it in me to brave the lines that can form on the weekends, lol! We'll see :)

Food: This is a well-known and very popular bakery in Brooklyn. They offer a variety of savory sandwiches as well as pastries, cookies, and sweets. Sandwiches include rosemary butter and ham, tuna fish, roast beef, burrata and prosciutto, and more. We tried the roast beef with chimichurri, a blueberry pastry, and pistachio croissant. All three items were high quality and delicious! Items are a bit pricey (those three items totaled about $37), but the quality definitely justifies the prices. All of the baked goods were beautiful and looked perfect. If you are in Greenpoint, I would recommend you stop by this bakery. Service: Staff are extremely friendly, pleasant, and welcoming. I was still deciding when it was my turn in line, and all staff members were patient and encouraged me to take my time. Ambiance: The bakery is small with about four counter seats along the window, but there are plenty of tables and chairs set up outside. There's nothing special about the ambiance, but it's a nice place to hang out and enjoy your sandwich or pastry. Overall, I would highly recommend this bakery!
Radio Bakery is probably the only bakery I'll happily wait in line for again and again. It's also the kind of place where you can pick anything with your eyes closed and know it'll be good. We arrived at 9:45 and got the pastries at 10:30. The wait was longer because we had to wait for the specials to come out from the oven, otherwise we could've just skipped the line and ordered directly at the counter. ＊Mango Lassi Croissant $15 Simply amazing. Ngl a $15 croissant should be illegal...but I went speechless after the first bite. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY I am not even a huge mango lover like anybody does, but WOW this mango croissant was seriously the BEST mango pastry EVER. The pastry shell held flaky and crunchy, and the center was filled with a labneh cheesecake and mango gelee. We were surprised the filling wasn't liquid-y at all and held up well! We also tried the new Artichoke and Green Garlic Foccacia ($9), and the Fennel and Sausage Foccacia ($9). I get their foccacia slice every time I'm here and they never let me down. So pillowy and delicious.
We were expecting a long line but we went around 8:30-9am and it was pretty quick. The bacon egg and cheese foccacia, scallion cream cheese focaccia and the smoked salmon focaccia was amazing. We had plans to go somewhere else for breakfast but once we came here once we couldn't stop. We also tried the roast beef sandwich and it was amazing, I don't even like roast beef!
This place definitely lives up to the hype! The food here is amazing, and when I say food, I mean more than just the baked goods. Starting off with the baked goods, the brown butter corn cake may be the single best pastry I've had in my life. It has a great crispy exterior and a super moist and decadent interior that just makes it the best pastry you could ever ask for. I also think they have one of the best chocolate chip cookies in the city, and their cinnamon roll is light yet executed perfectly. In addition to their pastries, their sandwiches are amazing. My favorite is this chili crisp tofu sandwich. It is packed with great flavor, perfectly tender tofu, and is layered between two pieces of delicious bread. I also love their arugula burrata prosciutto sandwich that is paired so nicely with their focaccia, making each bite the ultimate experience. While I've never waited in a really long line, I can say that they do move pretty efficiently. Unfortunately, there isn't much room to eat inside, but on a nice day, if you can grab a table outdoors, it's a great experience in the lovely Greenpoint neighborhood.
I've been seeing this spot all over social media so I was excited to check it out! I came on a weekend morning at 9:30 and waited 20-30min which wasn't bad at all. I thought it would take longer. The line did get longer when we were leaving though. I got the pesto focaccia, the earl grey morning bun and the brown butter corn cake. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend any of their focaccias, it's some of the best I've had. The morning bun was good but I couldn't taste much earl grey flavor. The brown butter corn cake was delicious! There are only a few tables outside but not many so you might need to take your baked goods to go.
Great great bakery and all the workers were so nice. You don't really eat inside and have tables outside Tried the prosciutto burrata sandwich and the tofu sandwich. There was basil in the first sandwich that cuts through the fattiness of the meat and cheese which was great. The second sandwich had this spicy sesame sauce which was so good - was not expecting to like the tofu one that much. Brown butter corn bread was the most moist one I've ever had and the top was so crispy. Rhubarb pastry was good but nothing special - didn't taste the rhubarb.
Lucky me for coming here on a random weekday morning with no line at all. My absolute favorite pastry here is their French Onion Soup Tart ($8). It's so creamy and comforting just like French onion soup but on a flaky crust. Honestly, I need to pair this with actual French onion soup to dip into. The focaccia are also a must here. I decided to try the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Focaccia ($8.50) since I had their Lox one before already. If you're a lox lover, definitely get that one though --even better than a bagel! The BEC focaccia is very heavy though, so I couldn't finish it all in one sitting. But it will fill you up for a meal or two by itself. This is a good one for cheese lovers, but wish they cooked the bacon a bit more. Either way, I really enjoy all the pastries at Radio Bakery. They've really made a name for themselves and the hype is real. Come early on a weekday to avoid the line and share with a group so you can enjoy more items.
I went for my second time on a Saturday around 10am and waited in line for ~40 minutes. They had sold out of some things but still had a number of options. We got the tomato focaccia, brown butter corn bread, chocolate peanut croissant, pistachio croissant, and chocolate chip cookie. I'll start with the good- the tomato focaccia was our favorite out of everything we tried. We wished we'd gotten a second piece. The chocolate peanut croissant and brown butter corn bread were also really enjoyable and would get both again. We didn't love the pistachio croissant. Pistachio isn't a go to flavor for me, but it was a little dry and just not as good as the other things. The chocolate chip cookie was almost bad? We actually threw part of it away which is pretty shocking given how much I love chocolate chip cookies. The texture was fine but nothing special and the flavor was so bland. I would take a bite and think why did I just eat that. read more

After a couple failed attempts of getting here on time, we finally made it on a Sunday morning around 10 AM! It's a little nerve wracking watching people in front of you grabbing the items you want, but they seem to restock pretty quickly especially earlier in the day. Make sure you arrive well before noon or there's a good chance they'll sell out. The line moves at a pretty okay speed and I think they work efficiently to get people in and out. The line comes and goes in waves though- when we first arrived it wasn't too bad and by the time we left it was reallllllyy long. I don't think you can go wrong with anything here, so if it looks good jut try it! The pastries are nice and flakey, and surprisingly not too sweet. It's a little bit of a journey to get here so probably won't frequent this bakery often, but it's a treat I'll certainly be looking forward to every couple of months! read more
Flew from LA then drove an hour. Only waited in line 5 min. Got lucky with that. Upon arrival I was not exactly greeted just asked what I wanted before I could even see my options. Once I decided... i managed to grab a seat. The coffee cups were super fun and NY theme! Drop Coffee was good. No one smiled or said hi. They were all eager to rush my order. Oh well. tomato focaccia: acidic and lacked flavor. Needed salt and or cheese. Or a sweeter tomato. The dough was great but a little burned. Rhubarb custard Danish: pretty but needed more rhubarb and custard. The ends were just plain pastry :(( the three bites in the middle were great Pistachio croissant: good. Had a unique custard like filling. It was nothing special but a good pastry. Mustard pretzel bear claw - had potential. Needed salty meat ... ham or prosciutto. On its own it's too much mustard. Sesame baguette. Looks great. Haven't tried yet. Also there were a lot of clutter, shores, personal clothes, dirty bins and buckets all over. Not a clean space but overall A for innovation. WOOOOW is the word to describe their pastries and sandwiches! We have visited both locations (this one at greenpoint & the one at bklyn heights). We came during the early morning time (croissant & other pastries, bkfast focaccio sandwiches & pastries), 10ish (late morning focaccio time) and after 11 (lunch sandwich time) to try a variety of their things. We came on a weekday & the line was quick and short. They did run out of certain things unfortunately. We got: 1) classic croissant, 2) brown sugar corn cake, 3) tomato & garlic focaccio, 4)roasted turkey sandwich, 5) burrata sandwich. Classic croissant - It was delicious and comparable to the ones in France. It was not too buttery but super flakey. Brown butter corn cake - WOW! This is a must order! This item does not look anything special and is small, but the flavor is incredible!! It was so damn delicious that this beat all the croissants/pastries we tried here. After trying a majority of their stuff, we ranked this item as #1 pastry at radio bakery. Highly highly recommended! I would reorder this and get more of this! Tomato & garlic focaccio - It was very delicious! Their focaccio breads are super addictive, savory, soft and chewy! Roasted turkey sandwich (basil pesto, marinated kale, pecorino, on sesame focaccio) - WOOOOW! Oh my god! Out of all the things we tried at radio bakery, we ranked this item #1. This sandwich was so amazing and unbelievably delicious! It deserves an award! The marinated kale with the turkey and the pesto wrapped inside a sesame focaccio bread as a sandwich, was out of this world! Highly highly recommended! Would reorder this in a heartbeat! Burrata sandwich (proscuitto, basil on focaccio bread) - This sandwich was very delicious but not as amazing as the roasted turkey one. The burrata paired so well w the proscuitto and basil & that focaccio bread is crack! Super savory and flavorful. I would reorder this sandwich if there is no turkey available. Staff was friendly and nice. The shop is smaller than the bklyn heights one. The people on line are not as well mannered as the ones at the bklyn heights store. After trying their other items at their bklyn heights location (smoked salmon sandwich, everything spiced focaccio, sesame scallion twist, pistachio croissant, coconut chocolate croissant), overall ranking would be: #1 roasted turkey sandwich, #2 smoked salmon sandwich, #3 brown butter corn cake. Ran over recently on a Thursday morning and there was barely a line. Got their seasonal/special French onion soup croissant/danish. Probably one of the best things that I ate here recently. Savory, slightly sweet, creamy. Still warm when I took a bite. I'm usually more of a sweet tooth, but I would definitely make an exception for this one! read more
One of the best bakeries in Greenpoint! It makes sense why there is a long line here but it does go by quickly. My friend and I shared a couple of things including the tomato focaccia, an earl grey morning bun, a cheesy bear claw, and a pistachio croissant. The focaccia here is ten out of ten. So fresh and so delicious! Definitely come by for their bread and their focaccia sandwiches. The morning bun was my next favorite because it was the perfect amount of tea flavor. Overall pastries here are fantastic, you can't go wrong! They also serve hot coffee in the cute NYC themed Greek coffee cups, which was fun since I've never gotten the chance to have one! read more

...I personally detest each and every one of you and sincerely hope you suffer from something gluten allergy related... So to tell the family secret, I am NOT a patient person. I am the least patient person that I know, and I don't tend to stick around to find out otherwise. For the past 15 years I measure the relative performance of my computing hardware by having them emulate a playstation portable and by running the game Wipeout Pure (yes, I have a physical copy on UMD) where I get to blast through futuristic cityscapes at ridiculous speeds on various resolutions to stress test its performance. Some machines (like my Apple silicon Macs) do well - others like my Qualcomm Snapdragon Windows 2023 dev kit? Not so much. I made a living helping my employer fine-tune servers so it can do the figurative equivalent of yanking bread off the hands of others quant trading, so as Mav would've said on Top Gun - I have a need, a need for speed. But yet, here we are on a sweltering humid 90 degree Saturday morning on India street, waiting on a long line while trying to score some baked goods. So when it came to indulging my wife's predilection towards carbs, I prefer more rustic and more crisp goods. As a true-blue Canto-boy, I grew up on baked goods from Chinatown bakeries, which run the gamut from mushy eggy brioche-like breads to commercially available puff-pastry stuff...to the point where I detest them equally, and since I pass by a greenmarket every other weekday where artisanal baked goods are relatively easy to come by, it's not like I am starved for choices, so why am I waiting here? Well, for one it's within walking distance from WNYC Transmitter park on the Greenpoint waterfront so you can grab something with a coldbrew and doggy-bag al fresco here if you are not in the mood for Taku Sando or Paulie G's. For two, they have a fairly solid selection and their stuff is on-point. The proscuitto and burrata focaccia with pesto? Flaky creamy and salty but not too oily. The cauliflower baguette sandwich? Flavorful without being too dry. The brown butter corn cake tastes more like a pudding, sweet and tender but with a nice crumb. The croissant was decent as well... That being said, I've only been there twice and have been very very hesitant to go back again. Why? Well, for one, that freaking line never seems to get any shorter so any attempt that me and the missus had scoring anything is at least a 20 minute affair, and throughout the entire ordeal it's me and my missus dealing with the stinkfaces from the poor schlubs who bought townhouses on India street, or the Millenials on that damned line, and their emotional support dogs...which makes me irrationally angry, like "wow you people look out of place here quit duckfacing your foccacia on instagram and get back to Levittown" angry. And for two, Nick+Sons on Lorimer, which is a 10 minute walk (or one stop down on the G train) serves baked goods just as good, often better, and they serve Parlor Coffee's cold brew, which I enjoy immensely. Their line also moves faster than the one for Radio. Me and the missus prefer cutting back on carbs in general, but if we want baked goods, we skip Radio Bakery and go somewhere else (I can think of at least 3 places in Greenpoint I'll rather grab pastry or bread from). It's not bad per-se but life's too short to be spent waiting on lines...plus if you really wanna doggybag something to WNYC Transmitter Park just get something from Jubilee Marketplace, ovenly or Maman instead. read more

i live down the block and hit this place up after my night shifts on the way home to sleep. all the baked goods are prepared on premises and the ingredients are so fresh. i love when they showcase recipes from bakers who created a specific recipe because those always rock... also all their rhubarb recipes are fire. the sandwiches are all underrated as well. my only complaint (which isnt their fault) is that i cant come here on weekends bcuz the line is so long (if you want to visit i rly reccomend coming on a weekday in the early morning). also all the servers are very kind and everytime i come after my night shifts when i look a mess they cheer me up lol so i rly look forward to it to get me through my shifts .. thanks :) read more

Radio bakery is one of the places I'll say is usually worth the wait. The line usually goes fast and they have their pastries before 11am and their focaccia sandwiches after 11. I would recommend going before 10 because they do sell out! Their current seasonal croissants are the heirloom tomato and stone fruit custard which are some of my favorites! Really not a fan of waiting in long lines but this place is worth the wait. The pastries are all creative and extremely fresh. The turkey sandwich was one of my favorites but doesn't get served until 11 am so it is a bit tricky to time with the long wait times. The cornbread was also one of the best I've ever had with a great sweet to savory ratio. The coffee banana custard pastry was also incredible. Really no item I didn't like. The tomato pastry was my favorite but I'm not sure if I would wait over an hour for it. The rest of the pastries were also good but I felt the sweet ones are too sweet for my preference, I prefer the savory pastries. They did run out of some since we got in around 1pm. You really can't miss with any of the baked goods here. The roast beef and chimichurri sandwich was incredible. The tart cherry almond croissant had delicious dark chocolate that tied the ingredients together. They are constantly creating new flavor combinations so will definitely be back to try another flavor pastry. read more

Honestly, this was TEAAAAA! The line was a little long (I went at 9:20am on a Wednesday), but it moved swiftly and the bakers were extremely helpful and joyous. I take that the selection changes day to day, which makes sense, because there is so much talent in this kitchen to be showcased. read more

So good!! We went at around 10:45AM on a Sunday and waited about 30 minutes in line but so many of the pastries were already sold out when we got to the front. I ended up getting the burrata and prosciutto sandwich, the pistachio croissant, and the rhubarb and custard croissant. Every single item was so good! I didn't have high expectations for the rhubarb since I'm not usually a fan and even that was delicious. I absolutely loved the pistachio filling in the pistachio croissant and it wasn't super sweet. The sandwich was good but the pastries were better. Definitely come out earlier on the weekends for more selection! There isn't much room to eat inside so we took it to a park and ate there. read more

Line was long when we went Sunday at 9:30AM but for good reason. We waited a bit over 30 mins when we finally got our pastries, and they really exceeded my expectations! Mushroom pastry - this is savory and delicious. All their pastries here are so flaky and I loved the texture. It's a fancy mushroom that makes up the whole pastry, not a super strong mushroom flavor but I totally recommend if you like mushrooms. This was my favorite Rhubarb cream - I hadn't tried something with just rhubarb (usually it's with another fruit) but this was a perfect tart sweet treat. The cream isn't too much and the tartness of the rhubarb balances really well with the thicker cream. I'd totally come back and try more. Worth checking out! read more

I visited this bakery during a weekend trip to New York after seeing a YouTuber recommend it for vegan options. I tried their vegan focaccia and a focaccia sandwich--both were incredible! My only wish is that they offered the option to have them warmed up. I went twice during my stay, and I still dream about that focaccia. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which I really appreciated, especially since that wasn't something I encountered often at the few other places I visited in the city. I'll definitely return if I get the chance. Ps. They didn't have any vegan sweet baked goods yet, but hopefully they will in the future! read more
Went there on a Saturday morning arriving at 9:30 am. I was out the door 40 minutes later. I would imagine that's decent for Radio considering it's a weekend morning? Maybe the crowd all got shifted to their new location. I got their twice baked pistachio and twice baked chocolate peanut croissant. Out of these two, I preferred the chocolate, but maybe it was because I was specifically craving something sweet. However, one thing I learnt this trip to Radio is that I prefer a croissant that's not "twice baked." I think I just prefer the airy and softness of a regular croissant. We came on a Friday afternoon around 1 and there was a short line, but it moved really quick. When it's your turn they do expect you to know what your order is, there's no time to really look and see what there is, so make sure to do it before your turn. Since we came in the afternoon, most of the items were sold out. We got a chocolate chip cookie, pistachio croissant and the earl grey morning bun. The earl grey morning bun was my favorite because the crispy pastry paired well with the earl grey sugar coating. The pistachio croissant was good, but I prefer the texture of the flavors of the morning bun more. There's no indoor seating, but there's some tables outside of the bakery to enjoy the goods. read more
Pros: I ordered the Burrata Prosciutto Basil sandwich & the Earl Grey morning bun. The sandwich was delicious, and my favorite part was the bread!! It had a perfect balance of a slight crunch on the outside & softness on the inside. The Earl Grey morning bun was also very good, with a right amount of sweetness and sugar coating. Cons: Indoor seating is limited to just a few high-top spots. There are also some outdoor seats, but they're not ideal during the colder winter months. read more

Simply the best stuff in the city. The lines show that people keep coming. The smell outside is yummy (minus the calories). A beautiful array of pastries both sweet and savory. I've gone for the everything focaccia with scallion cream cheese,twice now. And then the sweets are so beautiful and tasty. Must try it if in area and if not, still must go. Go early. Though the weekend specials are only available starting at 10 am. So we didn't get to try the passion fruit croissant. Anyway, lots to choose from either way. read more
Don't know how to describe the feeling of waking up, and the first bite in my mouth is a fresh Everything focaccia followed with smoked salmon and then little cuts of onion slices and fresh hints of dill finally landing on some light cream cheese....like 10/10. The different textures of the sandwich really complement each other well and the dill just brightens the whole piece to a new breakfast experience. They gained a new follower from just that first bite. Didn't get to try the shakshuka focaccia but the egg was jammy and I would smell the fragrant seasoning and tomatoes from across the table. One of the best bakeries in NYC hands down. Going down the list of my favorite pastries and sandwiches: I am a huge fan of their crispy chili oil tofu sandwich. It's the perfect lunch, with the chili oil adding a new layer of flavor to the crunchiness of the cabbage and the texture of the tofu. I can eat one way too quickly. Their brown butter corn cake has this perfect consistency - slightly mochi and caramelized. I love corn-flavored desserts, and this one might be top of the list. The sweetness level is just right and makes me want to come back for more. Earl grey morning bun was light and the flavors weren't overpowering Pistachio croissant was filled with pistachios (obviously), so rich and decadent Chocolate chip cookie was also very solid, not too crispy mixed with the right amount of dark chocolate Clearly I've been to Radio many many times, and I'm never not excited for my next visit! read more
Came around 9am and the line was seemingly not terrible but there was another mini-line within the bakery since it was somewhat cold (or maybe it's always like that). By the time I ordered, the shashuka focaccia was out. My partner and I got the smoked salmon sandwich, Meyer lemon and olive oil croissant, and a classic croissant with a latte. The focaccia on the smoked salmon sandwich was delightful. The everything focaccia was perfectly salted and melded well with the salmon which tasted surprisingly light with the cream cheese and dill. Moving on to the Meyer lemon and olive oil croissant, it was still warm! Whatever cloudy skies was out there, was perked up by the floral and lemony custard. For the croissant, I had to get it just to have a comparison to other bakeries. It was flaky and buttery but not my favorite. Similarly, for the latte, it was instant machine made. A bit disappointed but they're not known for their coffee so there's that. I will definitely come back for the lunch menu. read more
We came at 7:30am on a Sunday morning to ensure an endurable wait. There were only 6-8 people in front of us, and the line moved quickly. I came for the croissants and chocolate chip cookies but - insider tip - cookies don't come out until around 9am. Will be back this week for those! Aside from that, we collected the almond chocolate croissant (delish), the smoked salmon focaccia sandwich (my absolute favorite) and the earl grey morning bun (delicious). Not a single dud! We went to Radio Bakery for lunch to try and avoid the morning crowd, which was a blessing but also a regret. The line moved quickly, and the staff was very thorough in explaining the food and drinks they were offering at the time. The bakery is very cozy inside, but there's also 3-4 tables outside for people to eat and chitchat. We got the food very quick and walked over to McClaren park to enjoy a small picnic. For dessert, we split the croissant and cookie. The croissant was very flaky and crispy, which the cookie was a perfect amount of salty on the crust but very gooey in the middle. I would definitely recommend to try this before summer ends. read more

No, you're not seeing double.. I visited the new RB last week in Prospect Heights. I need to re-review In Greenpoint. Last year, my first time visiting, I was a newbie. I needed to become a RB expert. Additionally, I had my eye on the Tuna Salad last week and decided to buy one to take to lunch to work tomorrow. First, there was a line of twenty people, I don't remember waiting on line last year. I guess I got lucky! Excited clients know the hidden gems inside RB! Line? What line? Second, inside you are carefully navigating so paid clients needing to exit. ( Think, Seinfeld Soup Nazi episode lol! But a lot friendlier!) Third, look alive and know what you want to order. The patrons ahead and behind me were excited and asked me for advice ( newbies). I told them to order the turkey, marinated kale and basil pesto sammy.. I raved and raved. They got more excited. I saw the tuna and .. wait.. what's this??? Spicy Tofu on a Stirato baguette with creamy tahini sauce?? I didn't see this at Prospect Heights! Wow.. tough decision but I went with the tuna and a chocolate chip cookie. I'll be back for the Tofu. For sure! I have to say. RB is top notch with the amazing sandwiches and pastries. The employees rock and for a crowded busy store the cleanliness was superb ( the beverage case shiny and the organized condiment bar). Way to go RB! Fawn now has RB 2x in Brooklyn which is twice as nice!! What would make me really happy? You know.... Open in Bay Ridge!!!! Okay my fellow Yelpers where does the name Radio Bakery come from?? See my first review... Newbie no more! Radio Bakery is located on 135 India Street. Take the G train to Greenpoint, exit at the India Street exit and 1 minute walk. Be prepared!! Radio bakery is a hundred percent worth the hype. Each item on the menu from the pastries to the sandwiches are so full bodied, packed so much flavor, and there so well put together with each ingredient being high quality and meshing together well with the overall item. I have been dying to try this place. I literally set an alarm 5 hours before i usually wake up, to get up early and drive the half hour here to try this place and it was so worth it. I am already thinking of the next time I'll be back. The sandwiches are so reasonably priced, each piece being the length of my forearm for a very reasonable price! The pastries id say are more expensive than I've seen in other places but they are a must try. Everything is just so well balanced, and delicious. The focaccia bread was seasoned perfectly, you can taste every element in the sandwich from the bread to the olive oil, to the meat, and the vegetables. The pastries are not very sweet and the flavor is so subtle yet not. It lingers in your mouth leaving you salivating for more. The interior is small, with barely any seats but there is some outdoor seating. The service here is decent, nothing really noteworthy and if anything, leaning more towards friendly than not. Definitely became one of my favorite bakeries, will definitely be back. TLDR; yes. Come here. read more

One of my new favorite bakeries -- everything was phenomenal. - Prosciutto and burrata focaccia sandwich: life-changing. Truly. The chewy, crisp focaccia on it's own is already a show stopper, but paired with herby pesto and fresh basil, perfectly salty and savory prosciutto, and surprisingly light and fresh burrata, this was a perfect sandwich for me, - Twice-baked pistachio croissant: I don't even like pistachio that much, but holy cow this was amazing. Instead of a standard pistachio "butter," Radio Bakery fills this croissant with what tastes, looks, and feels more like a pistachio "jam" -- I promise you haven't had anything like this. The combination of textures and the sweet, earthy, nutty jam is unlike anything else I've ever had. Definitely order this! - Earl grey morning bun: Flakey, fluffy, and dotted with crisp caramelized sugar with great earl grey flavor throughout, this was also a fantastic pastry. Aw man I really wanted to like this place because of all the good reviews.. but sadly, I just don't think it's worth waiting in the long lines for. I've tried their pastries on different occasions and thought they were just ok. The pistachio croissant was nothing special and a even a little too flakey in some parts and too doughy in others. The focaccia sandwiches are tasty but whYYYY are they so oily??? There is a pool of oil at the bottom of my take out container. Not to mention, it's pretty pricey. They do have a lovely staff and the line goes by fast! Overall, just not for me. read more
Been dying to go here after hearing all the buzz and I finally made the trek out to Greenpoint. Thankfully very close to the Greenpoint G and the line Friday afternoon was not terrible. I got there a little before noon and the line moved quickly and efficiently. The weather was pretty miserable this day but I managed to get a seat inside. I enjoyed the turkey sando, the pumpkin cheesecake, and the triple chocolate croissant with a friend. The croissant has such a gorgeous shiny finish but I was kinda let down with how much filling it had. The sandwich was delicious though. The sesame focaccia was great and chewy with a perfect amount of kale. I'd definitely keep coming back for the pumpkin cheesecake. It was as pretty as it was good to eat. Radio Bakery is definitely worth the visit but you should make the time earlier in the day. read more
Review is for the tuna salad sandwich onlyyyy. The menu description reads lemon zest, pepperoncini, stirato. This is a mayo-based tuna salad with, what I assume is, minced cornichon, celery half moons, rice grain sized pieces of lemon zest, sliced pepperoncinis, and possibly pepperoncini juice on a thin sesame crusted Italian style baguette (stirato). The sesame seeds offer a nice toasty, nutty opening to a bright, sour, and citrusy tuna salad. The stirato is thin enough that it rivals a scooped out sesame bagel, yet it doesn't shred your palate. It's soft enough that if you are left with more bread than spread at the end of the sandwich experience, the bread is good and can stand on its own. Around 11:00AM on a chilly Wednesday, there was no line out the door. read more
