Iced coffee served in paper cup and bad pasties I couldn't finish either.

Not sure what happened to this place if it is under new management or what but the croissant here used to be my favorite in the whole city and I couldn't even finish it this time it wasn't good. Got the pan a chocolat to enjoy something better but it wasn't good at all either. They were blasting cardi B rap music which was an odd choice for a coffee shop. I was trying to get work done and it was distracting. Also the iced coffee was served in a paper cup which was very disappointing. Honestly pretty upset such a beautiful spot. (Gave 3 stars instead of 2 bc the inside is so nice) Will give another try I'm hoping this was a one time thing.

Ordered a few treats for delivery and will definitely visit in person soon. Churro croissant was perfect - best thing I tried. Plain croissant was also amazing. Only so-so item was the caramelized banana cinnamon roll - the bready part was simply ok, though the frosting was fantastic.

I've been meaning to try this place for awhile, it seems like a good place to work. Plenty of seating and cute interior. The matcha latte and ham n cheese croissant were good.

Some really cute and yummy pastries! Went on one of those extremely cold winter days, and the only seating available were these two big tables to the left of the door, and every time someone opened the door (which was like every 2 minutes), we got blasted by the air, so that was not great. I think my toes were frozen solid by the time we left. The pastries themselves were yummy though! I wished the carrot cake had a bit more depth/moisture/fluffiness, but the cream cheese frosting was great!

Spicy Italian sandwich was pretty good. The sandwich has a focaccia base (kind of reminds me of a croissant because of the butter-like flavor but wasn't very crispy or soft). I liked the texture and flavors of the toppings (salami, arugula, aged provolone, and creamy smear of spicy vinaigrette) more than the bread, which may be because it was already 2 and it's been in the display case. The interior is cute, and there's (1) restroom.

Spacious cozy spot along the water. Tried the Ham and Cheese Croissant & Squash Ricotta Crostata both were delicious!

Elote cornbread...was not tasty for me

We stumbled upon this place after walking through Domino Park. There were a lot of people inside but we were able to find a seat along the window. The space is bright and aesthetic. The pastries were beautiful and you can see them baking in the back. Customer service was friendly and efficient. They bring your order to your seat. I enjoyed my coffee but not the elote cornbread. The flavors did not go well for me. But overall I'd recommend this place for a good coffee and place to catch up with friends.

We loved our first trip to Birdee! The pastries were fantastic, and the service we got from Desmond was above-and-beyond. He truly helped make our first trip amazing. We'll be back!

Contemporary, elegant. This is a white collar bakery. I intend that in the most complimentary way possible. Sleek, modern, and a perfectly baked foccacia with luxurious deli pickles. Latte on point! Loaded with folks for good reason. They keep it lofi so a great place to be productive. Grab some breakfast, lunch, or just a little nibble! Workers are polite, vibes are great, stomach is full. Chirp chirp!

I'm obsessed with this place. I love the ham and cheese croissant with the crispy layers on top. The cakes are deciduous and I want to try every baked good item. Pass on the drinks though. Poetica has way better coffee. The matcha was also mid.

Great vibes and cozy atmosphere inside. The pastries are a little on the pricier side, but they quality and taste is worth it, and the pastries are very big. I'm not a coffee drinker but they seem to have good coffee as well! The churro croissant wasn't too sweet, and it was nice and flaky. The cheesecake danish was also not too sweet and paired well with the fresh strawberries. The pastries are definitely shareable too

Eric and Liam are so welcoming and the menu is amazing. The Pao de Queijo is one of the best outside of Brazil. The chicken croquets are so creamy and tasty. The pastel de Feira is outstanding. The Non1 and the Brazilian Limeade. Guys do yours self a favor and swing by Botequim to sample one of the best treats from Brazil. As you know chef Renata used to work at Eleven Madison Park!

Came back again this afternoon this time, I had to try the Honey Squash with Ricotta pastry, and wow... I don't even know where to begin. Buttery, perfectly balanced, and that blend of squash and ricotta is just unbelievably smooth and flavorful. Also, if you haven't tried the Romeo + Juliet, it's a must. Sweet, delicate, and absolutely worth the hype. The ambiance, as always, is calm and inviting. Great lighting, great energy, and the staff is consistently warm and attentive. I truly enjoy this spot no matter what's on the menu or what kind of day it is. This place deserves every bit of recognition amazing pastries, cozy atmosphere, and the matcha is always a plus. A true gem.

When you enter there is a bar you can sit at and two large high top tables next to it. As you walk further in there is a lounge with couches and various sizes tables. The whole space is surrounded by books! Heaven! We ordered a chai, matcha and a ginger cookie. Shout out to the woman taking my order for comping me my drink for my birthday! Everyone from the staff was friendly - I really enjoyed being there. The only thing I would say is someone should come by to check on the tables more often as I had to return other people's abandoned drinks. But you know what first world problems, am I right? Maybe they can have a sign or mention to customers to return their own cups before leaving. I sort of can't imagine why people don't... It is quite popular spot so you need to be very patient and strategic if you want to grab a table, as well as sprinkled with a little bit of luck. We unfortunately got there a little late. I went there at 3pm and hunted for a table and my friend got there by 330pm. By the time we ordered and started drinking our coffees - we were informed the lounge area will be closed at 4pm to prepare for the evening wine bar. Oh right this cafe turns into a wine bar in the evenings! How cool! At 4pm we thankfully grabbed one of the high tables - sharing it with another couple but it was large enough for the 4 of us. The lights dimmed and the atmosphere changed to more intimate. We unfortunately had to leave at 5pm, but I imagined picking up a James Baldwin book, ordering some white wine and enjoying both.... Mmm definitely next time. Maybe sometimes after work - sounds like a great wind down.

It was way too hot and crowded inside for us to wait, so they told us we could just come back in 20 minutes to check on our spot. I wish they had a call list or a texting service to let us know when we were up. We came back at the 20 minute mark and thankfully were seated pretty quickly after that. Thankfully the dining area was cooler than the waiting area. For food I got The Smash and added a poached egg. My bf got the breakfast burrito (he would have gotten the eggs Benedict, but it didn't look like they had Cholula). I had read reviews that this was the best avocado toast in NY, but it was maybe my least favorite of the few I tried! Could just be me, but it had more of an acidic flavor than I like. My last bite was also a mouthful of feta which I had thought was egg lol, it was honestly hard for me to get down. My bf's breakfast burrito was maybe the smallest he's ever had, but it tasted decent. 5/5 for service, and the ambiance (though hot) was cute. I'd be tempted to give them another try because of how good the reviews are, but I wouldn't get their avocado toast again.
